Just because she’s a Revlon spokesperson doesn’t mean Halle Berry wears a lot of makeup. “I hardly ever wear makeup,” Berry admitted to PEOPLE. “I like to give my skin a break — let it breathe.”

However, she definitely wears a product or two when filming and promoting Revlon’s new ColorStay products.

“I actually have this on today in the ‘Honey’ color,” the spokeswoman said at a recent New York press day, pointing to Revlon’s ‘Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains.’ “I love it — it’s creamy and yummy, not drippy and sticky.”

Revlon is releasing several new ColorStay products this summer — balm stains included — as well as its new ‘ColorStay Whipped Crème Makeup’ foundation, which Berry has actually nicknamed. “I call is soufflé,” the bride-to-be joked, “because when I first saw it, I felt like I wanted to eat it!”

The ageless actress is 45, yet she doesn’t look a day over 30. Her secret? Using Kinara Spa skincare products and staying healthy. “It’s cleansing your skin, watching what you eat, no smoking, not too much drinking, no sugar — just simple,” she admitted. “And using sunscreen! If you don’t have a good base, then it doesn’t matter what you put on it — it’s not going to look as great as it could.”

While Revlon is rolling out new cosmetics, the actress has rolled out something new, too: a curly hairstyle. “I actually did it for work,” the star revealed, adding that it’s for her latest film, The Hive. “But I also look at hair as an accessory, just like a handbag or a pair of shoes. It’s something you can put on, play with for awhile and then take it off and try something different.”

Berry is simple in the sense that her beauty must-have is a “good lip balm,” so it’s not surprising that she likes her hairstyle’s ease. “When you have short hair, sometimes you have to play with it a little to make it look good,” she explained. “This [pointing to her hair] is what you call wash-and-wear beach hair. It’s ready to go!”

At the Emmy Awards in September, Gwyneth Paltrow arrived in a midriff-baring lacy black number by Emilio Pucci. The open-back dress features ruffle details, intricate beading and lots of bling.

Fast forward to Tuesday, when Kim Kardashian arrived at Diddy‘s yacht party in Cannes wearing what appears to be the exact same dress. Days before, she wore a different Pucci number to promote her fragrance in London.

If you’re looking to get past the velvet rope at a hot nightclub this weekend, Giuliana Rancic definitely knows how.

“It’s all about confidence,” the E! News host tells PEOPLE. “It’s not always the skinniest, tallest, or prettiest but it’s the most confident that gets let in.”

Rancic teamed up with Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy (Heidi Klum is the brand’s new face) to star in a “Best Night Ever” TV vignette (above), which reveals what it takes to get into exclusive hotspots. “I play a bouncer, and it shows me letting people in — and I tend to focus on the person’s hair,” she explains.

To prepare for her role, the news anchor and reality TV star said she used some of her own experiences. “When I first moved out to L.A., I was going to all the hot clubs,” she reveals. “Me and my friends would walk right to the front of the line and lie to the bouncer and say someone was waiting for us — 90 percent of the time it worked!”

Rancic says long and wavy hair makes her feel the most confident now — but she used to sport a very different do. “I had long, bleached-out blonde hair with dark roots — it was pretty tragic,” the Fashion Police star jokes. “The first week I started working, a high-profile producer told me I should chop off my hair to my chin, get my roots done and try a softer blonde. It looked quite cute actually.”

Although Rancic liked the cropped look, she’s in no rush to chop off her luscious long locks. “As you get older, you want to milk that window of where it’s appropriate to keep it long,” she quips. “Because eventually it’s going to look desperate.”

TRY CUTE STAR HAIRSTYLES ON FOR SIZE!

Hayden Panettiere‘s beauty must-haves are as low-key as she seems to be. “I have them all in my purse,” she told PEOPLE in New York recently.

Such as? “I love the [Neutrogena] ‘MoistureShine’ lip gloss,” the Neutrogena spokesperson admitted. “We always use them on our cheeks, too — especially when we carry around bags the size that we do where you can fit like one lip gloss in there.”

Makeup aside, Panettiere is currently focused on summer skin and promoting PEOPLE and Neutrogena’s “Spotlight on Suncare Tour,” which teaches people how to care for their skin and promotes sunburn prevention.

The Scream 4 actress practices what she preaches — she wears sunscreen every day. “I make sure that I put sunscreen on under my makeup, or just by itself, no matter where I am going,” she revealed. “It’s actually interesting because I realized that even high SPFs … if you don’t reapply, you’re not going to get the same kind of coverage. SPF 70 can be like a 19 SPF if you don’t apply it properly.”

She’s happy to lend her name to the cause, too. “Skin cancer has become such a huge epidemic, especially in young women, so it is really important that people learn how to take care of their skin and be preventative. That’s the thing about every kind of cancer: catching it before it becomes a problem.”

The skincare campaign features a traveling tour bus with on-site dermatologists who are offering free skin cancer screenings, self-exam kits and sunscreen products. Check out the website to find out when it’s visiting your town.

Pop-star offspring unite! Georgia May Jagger, daughter of legendary musician Mick Jagger, is the new global face of Material Girl — Madonna and daughter Lourdes Leon‘s clothing line.

“To be handpicked by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl is truly amazing,” Jagger tells PEOPLE. “I’ve always admired Madonna’s style and I’m thrilled to be working with them.”

Previous celebrities to star in the mother-daughter’s brand campaign include Kelly Osbourne, Taylor Momsen and three “real girls.” (Earlier this year, the juniors line hosted a model search to find its next faces.)

This isn’t Jagger’s first modeling gig; she’s graced the pages of several fashion glossies, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and ELLE.

When she’s not twirling across the ballroom floor on Dancing with the Stars, Karina Smirnoff is amassing quite a colorful clothing collection, full of dance shoes, glittery costumes and fun accessories. And now, the ballroom pro is unloading some of her favorite fashion finds for charity on the new shopping site HipSwap.com.

“I’d love for someone to enjoy my things and make memories with them, too,” Smirnoff says. Though she admits her items aren’t for everyone. “Dancing with the Stars is not known for wearing a lot of clothing,” she jokes.

Items from Smirnoff’s closet include Mark Nason cowboy boots ($250), a Fendi bag ($550) a sexy dancing gown ($160) and a leather jacket from Rachel Zoe Collection ($75). The sale also includes a pair of men’s shoes ($80) from an ex-boyfriend and former DWTS partner (perhaps Mario Lopez?).

Proceeds from sales of Smirnoff’s goods will benefit AIM, Alternative Intervention Models, a non-profit organization that brings the arts to children in underprivileged families.

Though Smirnoff and partner Gavin DeGraw were eliminated earlier this Dancing season, the star is looking forward to seeing who wins the mirrorball trophy tonight. “It’s anyone’s game, but I’d love for a girl to win,” she says. “It will ultimately come down to the freestyle: Donald is strong, William is sexy and Katherine rocks.”

There’s no slowing down Britney Spears! Hot on the heels of her big X-Factor announcement, the pop icon is releasing yet another fragrance, Britney Spears Fantasy Twist. The two-in-one perfume brings together two of the singer’s most popular scents, Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy.

“With Fantasy Twist, I wanted to combine two of my favorite fragrances into a sophisticated bottle, giving my fans the power to choose the scent they desire at any given moment,” Spears tells PEOPLE.

The sphere-shaped bottle twists in half, revealing two smaller bottles in pink and blue (the singer’s favorite colors), one of each scent. The classic Fantasy is the muskier of the two, with notes of jasmine petals and white-chocolate orchid, while Midnight Fantasy is warmer and features wafts of black cherries, framboise and plum. Fans can layer the two perfumes or wear them separately.

Two blondes, two beaches, one bikini brand. After wearing the same maxi dress earlier this year, Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes were both spotted in similar bikinis by Luli Fama during separate beach vacations.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Glanville wore the brand’s “Cosita Buena Wavey Triangle” suit in black ($72 per piece) during a seaside stroll in Los Angeles last summer, accessorizing with dangly earrings.

“Fashion over function” is not a mantra Kelly Clarkson lives by.

“I think you should be comfortable,” the original American Idol told reporters while doing press for her new ABC singing competition, Duets, in Los Angeles last week.

“This is such a funny industry. Sometimes I turn on awards shows and pop stars are wearing alien costumes,” Clarkson said of the outlandish fashions in the music industry. “I’m like, ‘That’s cool for you but ain’t no way in hell someone is going to convince me to wear that on stage.’”

The “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” singer believes the music industry puts too much pressure on artists to conform.

“Not only can the music be formulaic, but the attire can be formulaic,” she said. “Just like music, with style there is room for everything and it might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is that person’s thing.”

Now Clarkson is imparting her fashion advice on her Duets contestant, Jordan Meredith.

“I need [Jordan] to be comfortable on stage and people are pushing her to wear something else and that is not our focus,” said Clarkson, who will mentor and sing with Meredith and one other contestant during the show’s premiere season. “Especially in a competition you need to be comfortable and confident.”

And for Clarkson, comfort begins with footwear.

“I don’t want to wear no stiletto,” she said, gesturing to her open-toed shoes with thick heels. “I am not a model and I am not Beyoncé. It is not going to happen.”

WEIGH IN ON STARS’ SARTORIAL CHOICES IN ‘LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT?’

Rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s most fashionable at the Cannes film festival this weekend must have rubbed off on Shia LaBeouf: the actor decided to have a style moment of his own, debuting a long new do on the red carpet Saturday.

Leaving remnants of his old facial hair in the form of some scruff, the actor slicked back his long locks at a photo call for his new film Lawless (right). While the long mop isn’t all that shocking — he did have quite the beard just a few months ago (center) — it drew some criticism from the Cannes crowd, according to reports.

The Transformers star has always had a good head of hair (check out the photo on the left), but this is definitely taking it to new lengths — literally. Tell us: Can LaBeouf make the long hair happen, or should he chop it off?

TRY STAR HAIRSTYLES ON FOR SIZE IN INSTANT MAKEOVER

Her engagement ring caused quite a stir, but Angelina Jolie is hoping the latest gems from her jewelry line, Style of Jolie, attract even more attention.

“It’s a labor of love,” Jolie’s co-designer, Robert Procop, tells PEOPLE. That’s in part because 100 percent of profits benefit the actress’s charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. In fact, she’s planning to break ground on a school for girls in Qala Gadu, Afghanistan, using funds from jewelry sales.

“Our commitment is always supporting the children’s charity, which remains the overall intention and purpose of the collection,” Procop adds.

But there’s fun involved, too; Procop says the pair “strive for nothing less than artistic innovation with every jewel,” like the newest offering, a sleek emerald bracelet (above). “She is very classically chic,” he says of Jolie. “We cultivated this style, which echoes a woman’s timeless allure. When you see the collection, it has a distinction. When you look at it, you recognize that it’s the Style of Jolie.”

Last year, Procop told PEOPLE that Jolie was involved “every step of the way” in the design process. “[The collection] is what she enjoys wearing on the red carpet, but also what she enjoys when she’s at home,” he added.

She enjoys wearing it on her ring finger, too; Procop created her engagement ring with input from her longtime partner, Brad Pitt. According to a rep for the jeweler, “the feedback [on the ring] has been wonderful. It’s all about love.”

In her latest film, Virginia, Jennifer Connelly learned that blondes do have more fun … even if the subject mater of the movie — a woman’s battle with schizophrenia — was anything but.

“I actually had a lot of fun being blonde,” she tells FashionETC. “But not as much fun getting to blonde. It was very time-consuming, but the upkeep wasn’t bad because it didn’t have to be perfect.”

Writer-director Dustin Lance Black says the choice to change the character’s hair color was a calculated one. “One of the few things that a schizophrenic of her type can control is color,” he explains. “We discussed it and we thought one of the things she has probably tried to control all the time is … the color of everything, including her hair.”

Virginia marks the first time Connelly has gone blonde for a role, FashionETC. reports. And the actress says it definitely helped her get into character. “I felt like she was really her own creature,” she says. Plus, she pulled it off.
