While her Girls character Marnie is still reeling from a bad breakup, Allison Williams’s love life is pretty perfect right now. The actress recently got engaged to boyfriend of three years, CollegeHumor.com’s Ricky Van Veen, and is still basking in the excitement. (And with a gorgeous sparkler like that one at left, we don’t blame her.)

So how have her costars been celebrating the happy news? Show creator Lena Dunham is busy planning a prank!

“Lena has already threatened to hide my engagement ring, which I really hope she doesn’t do,” Williams told PEOPLE Thursday at the Television Academy’s Girls event in North Hollywood, Calif.. “She’s like, ‘We’re gonna have to find ways to hide it while we’re shooting.’ I was like, ‘Okay, then I’m going to hide it on part of my body that you can’t see.’ I know she’s obviously kidding.”

Drew Barrymore's Bridal Beauty Advice: 'Look Like Yourself on Your Wedding Day'

Mar/06/2014 at 05:13 PM ET

Drew Barrymore loves to play around with makeup, which was one of the reasons she founded her own cosmetics line, Flower Beauty. The actress also loves to share beauty advice with fans, and she has a very strong opinion for brides-to-be: Don’t go crazy with the face paint on your wedding day.

“That day is so surreal and important and long-lasting for people, I think the biggest mistake you can make is to overdo it,” she said at her Flower Beauty spring launch in N.Y.C. “Look like yourself on your wedding day — don’t go with crazy spiral curls and some heavy foundation and look back at that picture and be like, ‘Whoa, that doesn’t look like me.’ It should be you but the most enhanced, beautiful natural version of yourself.”

And for those brides thinking about making a big beauty move for the trip down the aisle, Barrymore urges for a softer approach. “I appreciate some women who are like, ‘I really want to change my hair color for that day,’ but it’s not the time to play around. If you are thinking of doing something bold like a nail, pick a shade that has powders and grays and neutrals in it so it tones down the ‘cuckoo factor.’ I think wedding days and ‘cuckoo factor’ are not a good combination.” Read More
