Robert Pattinson’s New Bushy Beard: Love It or Hate It?

Things have been getting hairy in Hollywood for awhile now, with stars like Brad Pitt, Jon Hamm and Zac Efron sprouting a new crop of facial hair. And Robert Pattinson, it seems, is next to ditch the razor. The star was snapped at LAX Tuesday debuting a scruffy new mountain man look that left him almost unrecognizable as the same shimmer-skinned vampire that he played in Twilight. We’re not sure how we feel seeing Rob take this werewolf-like transformation, but we’re fascinated to see the star give himself such an unexpected makeover. We want to know what you think. Robert Pattinson Inspires New Underwear Line

As if Twilight fans needed another reason to get giddy about Robert Pattinson, Guardian reports that British retailer Marks and Spencer has announced that they are creating a men’s underwear line inspired by the sexy star. Aptly called the R-Pant, the vampire-inspired slim-fit underwear collection of low-rise briefs and trunks is meant to be worn under skinny jeans like those sported by Katy Perry‘s funny man Russell Brand and, of course, Pattinson himself. And while the 24-year-old Twilight hottie will not be appearing in an ad campaign for the retailer (nor is he apparently endorsing the line), the Guardian reports that the actor has been spotted shopping for underwear at the store. With fellow vampire Kellan Lutz fronting Calvin Klein underwear, we’re wondering just how much the R-Pant collection will be able to sex up Marks and Spencer’s underwear department. Looks like we’ll have to wait until September, when the new range goes on sale, to see! –Jessie Goldberg

Robert Pattinson’s Maroon Suit: Love It or Hate It?

It looks like Robert Pattinson may have been channeling his onscreen vampire alter ego Edward Cullen at Thursday night’s Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere in Los Angeles. The 24-year-old star got tongues wagging with his, dare we say, blood-colored suit when he stepped onto the red carpet in the slim-fitting heritage style from Gucci’s fall/winter 2010 collection. Paired with a soft gray shirt and skinny black tie, Pattinson definitely looked prepared for the fang-tastically good night ahead of him. And while the British heartthrob is no stranger to going glam in Gucci every now and then, we’re wondering if his choice of a bold suit was maybe a bit too literal for a vampire movie premiere — or even if it could be in homage to his newly revealed ancestor, Dracula? But with his shaggy do back in place along with his usual scruff, we’re quite certain that R. Patz will have no problem sizzling in any look–blood, sweat or with tears. Bryce Dallas Howard on How She Stays Fit Post-’Eclipse’

Though it’s hard to imagine Twilight‘s Bella, Edward and Jacob on elliptical machines, the cast of its much-anticipated sequel Eclipse all apparently found time to sweat it out before filming. “Everyone got fit for Eclipse,” reveals actress Bryce Dallas Howard in the July issue of Self. But once the film wrapped, it was another story. “Maintaining was the challenge!” admits the stunning redhead, who plays evil vampire Victoria. The star’s post-filming strategy? The pack mentality. “I created a fitness club with five friends,” explains the 29-year-old actress to Self. “We have weekly check-ins and a reward system–and group penalties if one of us slacks off. I don’t want to let them down, so success is much more likely. And fun!” While she does make it a point to get her pulse up regularly, the mom to toddler Theo–and daughter of director Ron Howard–only makes trips to the salon once in a blue moon. “I will spend money on a good cut, just so that I only need to get my hair cut twice a year,” she admits. “Because if it is good, it will grow out beautifully.” For more on Bryce, pick up the July issue of Self, on newsstands June 22, or visit self.com. –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

Kristen Stewart Gets Glam in ‘Dolce Vita’ Worthy LBDs in Italy

Kristen Stewart is known as much for her punky and grungy off-screen style as she is for keeping fans guessing on the status of her relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. But one thing that is for sure: Stewart is leaving her tough-girl style behind while promoting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in Italy, turning up today in a parade of sweetly sexy little black dresses. First, the star hit a photocall for the film alongside hunky on-screen love interest Taylor Lautner in a tweed and organza J. Mendel dress paired with black peeptoe pumps. And then, she hit the film’s Roman premiere in an elaborate black tulle Marchesa minidress, which she wore with a loose updo and satin Roger Vivier ankle-strap heels. It’s only just the beginning of Stewart and her Eclipse crew promoting the sure-to-be smash hit movie, so we can barely wait to see if her glam streak continues. Ashley Greene Readies for the ‘Eclipse’ Red Carpet One Dress at a Time

While the rest of us are on the edge of our seats waiting for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse to hit theaters on June 30, Ashley Greene is busy planning what she’ll wear on the film’s global premiere tour. “My stylist and I have picked out about 30 outfits and we’re going to have fun with it,” the 23-year-old beauty revealed to InStyle.com, starting with the Hollywood premiere on June 24. “I’m excited about the number of places and premieres I get to go to.” For the film’s London debut, the style-savvy starlet will be nodding to local talent: “I’m going to wear a British designer to the UK premiere,” Greene hinted to InStyle.com, acknowledging that the jury’s still out on her exact look for the night. “I’ve got four choices.” Now, if only we were as clairvoyant as Greene’s Twilight alter ego Alice Cullen….For more on Ashley’s Eclipse world tour, check out InStyle.com. –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

‘Eclipse’ Engagement Ring Details Revealed!

Talk about eternity in the making! The engagement ring given to Bella by Edward in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, was a true labor of love, reports InStyle.com, requiring a prop master, five different jewelers, several samples and a multitude of research to finally get the glittering piece to perfection–and up to author Stephenie Meyer’s liking. The task of designing the antique engagement ring–described by Meyer in her Eclipse novel as a delicate piece “set with slanting rows of glittering round stones”–fell on prop master Grant Swain, who tirelessly researched Victorian-era jewelry before calling in samples and hiring four different designers to create various prototypes of the ring. But to no avail: Meyer, unimpressed with the model baubles, took it upon herself to draw up a rough sketch of the ring as she had envisioned it. The illustration was sent to Portland-based jeweler Rick Thurber, who used a computerized image of the drawing to create the end result — a stunning pave-diamond ring that was rushed to the set just hours before filming of the pivotal scene began!
