Bravo’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development and newest late night talk show host Andy Cohen admits that he’s “obsessed” with She By Sheree, the fashion line from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield. “It is the greatest name for a fashion line ever,” Cohen told PEOPLE at the recent Fashion Group International Night of Stars at Cipriani Wall Street, where he and BRAVO executive Francis Berwick were honored with a Fashion Oracle Award. “I can’t stop talking about it. I’ve done 14 episodes of Watch What Happens:Live! and every episode, I ask people, ‘Are you wearing She by Sheree?’” In fact, Cohen is pushing for the line to make it into the First Lady’s wardrobe. “I had Michelle Obama’s hairdresser Johnny Wright on last week,” he tells us. “And I said, ‘What is it going to take to get the First Lady into a She by Sheree frock?’ And he said that he’s anxiously awaiting what the line presents to see. He said if Sheree creates something great, maybe it will happen. What’s the sweetest thing about the Simmons family? Pastry VIP, the new high-end footwear and clothing line from Rev. Run’s oldest offspring, Vanessa and Angela Simmons. An expansion of their original Pastry Footwear sneaker line, Pastry VIP will feature heels in a more sophisticated and contemporary style. “The pieces are just so original and so outside the box of what anyone is doing,” Vanessa tells PEOPLE. When it comes to fashion, the sisters have some pretty large shoes to fill. Dad Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons created the Run Athletics brand and uncle Russell Simmons is behind mega-brand Phat Farm. “We got the best blueprints from the industry just by paying attention while growing up,” Vanessa says. The sisters run all their designs past their fashionable family, though they admit their dad and uncle aren’t always the best judges when it comes to women’s clothing. Fashion tips aren’t the only things Vanessa and Angela will be missing from Dad. The sisters relocated in January from the family home in New Jersey to Los Angeles where they film their reality show Daddy’s Girls, now in its second season. The new season will follow the sisters as they run their business on the West Coast, which will include highlighting the Pastry line. The stars will debut a series of heels and flats at Macy’s at the beginning of the holiday season. They hope to expand their brand further in the future – after all, it’s in their blood. “It’s the thing that I’ve been interested in since forever,” Angela tells PEOPLE. “I love fashion. Can you package the joie-de-vivre of Sex and the City’s ultra-fashionable Carrie Bradshaw in a bottle? Coty Prestige plans to do just that with the launch of Sarah Jessica Parker’s newest fragrance, SJP NYC, following on the stiletto heels of her two enormously successful fragrances Lovely and Covet. In an interview with WWD, Parker says that the fruity floral scent will be a “party in a bottle,” influenced primarily by her character, Miss Bradshaw. “A large part of the inspiration was what I now understand to be people’s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street and what feelings that evokes for her and for them — a real sense of freedom and possibilities, a love for the city around her and, of course, fashion,” Parker told WWD. SJP NYC, with top notes of Italian mandarin, white osmanthus and wild red strawberries, will arrive exclusively in Macy’s stores in February, just in time to get fans excited for the May release of the second SATC film. The packaging was designed to look like Bradshaw’s famously over-stuffed closet — featuring a simple glass bottle encased in a reusable canister and topped with a hot pink cap. The fragrance collection will include eau de toilette in three sizes as well as a body lotion, priced between $25-$49. A cuff bracelet with solid perfume will debut in May. Why, go to Topshop of course!  Olivia Palermo made a brief appearance at London Fashion Week this weekend to check out the Matthew Williamson show and to attend Topshop’s show for its Unique line. Sitting front row at Williamson on Sunday, she told PEOPLE, “I love the way Matthew uses color and I’ve been a huge fan of Topshop for as long as I can remember, so I’m really excited to see both shows.” With filming of The City having just wrapped, Palermo is keen to get her next project under way. “I’m really excited actually, I’m doing a collaboration with Roberta Freymann for a necklace collection,” she revealed. “I designed two styles that will go into her store and we’re working on an exclusive retail deal, probably in Bendels.” According to the fashionable TV star, her perfect Sunday in London would be a low key, paparazzi-free day. “Usually [her boyfriend] Johannes is with me and we love walking around Notting Hill just relaxing, but it’s Fashion Week so I’m here instead and so far it’s been great.” –Monique Jessen

It’s a new View — and a new do — for Kate Gosselin. On her second day as guest cohost on the talk show, Kate debuted a new wavy look. “You have a new hairstyle. It’s a first!” said Barbara Walters, as Tuesday’s show began. Added co-host Joy Behar, “It looks cute!” Gosselin gave credit to the show’s makeup artists with an enthusiastic, “Your girls back there, whoo baby! Isn’t it cute?” Later in the program, Kate talked about why she’s still wearing her wedding ring even though she and Jon are divorcing. “I said very early on that I would continue to wear it for the kids,” she explains. “We’re not officially divorced yet, and you know, I’ve had it on for 10 years. It’s upsetting to the kids.” Kate also responded to Jon’s comments to Good Morning America last week that he “despises” Kate. “Of course it bothers me,” she said. “Am I going to return the favor? When Susan Boyle makes her debut performance in the U.S. on Wednesday for the finale of America’s Got Talent, it won’t be just her singing that impresses the audience. The Scottish singing sensation will be wearing a stunning, bespoke dress created by British designer Suzanne Neville that is set to “really wow” the crowd. The designer tells PEOPLE exclusively: “The brief was to make Susan look super elegant and so we created a long, classic black gown for Susan to wear.” Three weeks and two dress fittings later, Boyle was thrilled with her one-of-a-kind gown, which has now left the designers store in upmarket Knightsbridge and is on its way to the U.S. with the singer’s stylist. Neville’s rep tells PEOPLE: “Suzanne said she was a delight to work with and seemed very excited about both the dress and the performance.” Neville who is known for her bridal and evening wear, has also designed outfits for previous X Factor contestants, another of Simon Cowell’s talent shows in the U.K, as well as celebrities such as Jerry Hall. –Monique Jessen

While Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw has shown no signs of letting go of her designer duds — she has already been spotted in two pairs of Christian Louboutin pumps! — Ugly Betty’s Wilhelmina Slater, played by Vanessa Williams, looks to be cutting back on spending due to the recession. WWD caught up with the actress at a charity event in Dallas on Tuesday night where she told them, “With the economic situation what it is, we scaled down in terms of the type of clothing that we’re getting.” So what does that mean exactly for the Mode editor-in-chief? “There was a Naeem Kahn dress that went for $3,000, and they watched it and watched and by the time we got it, it was like $800. So we are being mindful of the budget and waiting for markdowns on Ugly Betty,” says Vanessa. Other than shopping sales, Ugly Betty’s costume department is also scooping out the vintage bins. “With the [Thierry] Mugler, which we did a lot last season, we’ve gone through a lot of stuff that is late ’80s, early ’90s, which is fantastic — a lot of stuff I used to wear when I was recording back in the day,” says Vanessa. “So I would have deja vu moments of, ‘Didn’t I wear this on stage already?’” We can’t wait to check out Ugly Betty’s sure-to-be unique take on recession fashion. If you’ve ever spent the better part of a Mad Men episode dreaming that you could look as glamorous as the show’s leading ladies, you’re in luck. The AMC period drama’s makeup department head, Lana Horochowski, is revealing precisely how she and her team transform the cast each week — and her secrets for recreating their retro style. Lana’s first on-set step was to create individual looks for each star to that reinforced her personality and identity. Curvy redhead Joan Holloway, played by, Christina Hendricks, is “always put-together, very sassy and sexy,” says Lana, who goes with a heavy eye with lots of liner and strip lashes for the star to play up her sex-appeal. The show’s classic blonde, Betty Draper (January Jones), on the other hand, has two distinct looks. “For home she is very natural, basically a sheer foundation, black eyeliner and mascara. Evening Betty goes a little thicker on the liner and a brighter lipstick, but always coordinated with her clothing.” And the secret to creating your own ’60s-inspired makeup look? “A great start would be lining the top lash line only with a gel liner like M·A·C Fluidline,” Lana says. We love this product for recreating the perfect ’60s eye.” When it comes to lips, “Replacing gloss and sheer or shimmer lipsticks with matte reds, bright pinks, and corals help create a more retro look,” she explains. Add designer Max Azria to the roster bonafide fashionistas guesting on the new CW model drama The Beautiful Life! PEOPLE confirms that Azria, the founder of celebrity-favorite BCBGMaxAzria, will play himself in an episode scheduled to air in mid-October. Azria joins Zac Posen and Project Runway judge Nina Garcia among the cameos for The Beautiful Life, which premieres Sept. 16 and stars Mischa Barton. Blake Lively may have spent most of her day working, but the Gossip Girl star got to celebrate her 22nd birthday in a sexy Kate Moss for Topshop dress, starting with a stop at the Tiffany & Co. and InStyle party honoring Maria Sharapova and Frank Gehry — who collaborated on earrings the tennis star will wear during the US Open. But that was just the beginning. “I have nothing planned. I’m going to a lovely dinner, but it’s a surprise,” Lively told PEOPLE before being presented with a chocolate birthday cake at the party, but one can only assume that she spending the rest of the evening with her beau, Penn Badgley, as she coyly replied to PEOPLE about the most romantic date she’s ever been on, “I don’t know. Ask me tomorrow.” Birthday romance aside, Lively is excited about the upcoming season of Gossip Girl. “We were terrible in high school, so you can only imagine how wild we are in college,” she says. As for the season’s high profile guest appearances, “Hilary Duff is on for a few episodes and Tyra Banks makes an appearance also. I’ve known Tyra since I was a kid, so getting to work alongside her was great. She’s so gracious and kind and Hilary is just a fun, sweet girl. So how fast can Rachel Zoe get her A-list clients gowns for the red carpet? In less than 24 hours, if last night’s premiere episode of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project is to be believed. With less than a week to get dresses for Demi Moore, Debra Messing, Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz and Eva Mendes for last year’s Golden Globe Awards, Rachel’s team sprung into action. And while shipping caused more than a few headaches — Mendes’s Dior gown ended up at Chanel! — nothing compared to Rachel’s decision four days before the show to nab a pink Chanel Haute Couture gown for Diaz — only problem being that it had an unwanted sleeve and was still in Paris! Who was going to tell Karl Lagerfeld that the sleeve needed to go? Luckily for Diaz and Zoe alike, the altered gown arrived at Rachel’s studio the day before the awards. But as we knew they would, in the end, all of Rachel’s leading ladies “shut it down” at the Golden Globe Awards. We “die”! With Madonna’s “Vogue” playing in the background and her signature dark sunglasses in place, Vogue’s infamous and iconic editor-in-chief brought high fashion to late night television with her first appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman. Anna Wintour took the hot seat to discuss the much-anticipated documentary The September Issue, which follows the Vogue staff as they put together the 840-page September 2007 issue with Sienna Miller on the cover. After gently ribbing Letterman about his socks and recommending that he look into cutting-edge menswear designer Thom Browne, Wintour settled into a chat about fashion, her persona and affordable fashion in these difficult economic times. Wintour showed her playful side by commenting that according to last week’s NY Times, “I’m an ice queen, I’m the Sun King, I’m an alien fleeing from District 9 and I’m a dominatrix. So I reckon that makes me a lukewarm royalty with a whip from outer space. What do you think?” She got more serious while discussing Fashion’s Night Out — Vogue and the CFDA’s huge N.Y.C-wide retail event on September 10 meant to create excitement over shopping and boost sales. And while most pieces in Vogue might be out of the average girl’s budget, Anna insists “what’s wonderful about fashion today is that it’s available to so many different people at so many different prices.” So if you had just $20 to spend on fashion, asked Letterman, how do you spend it? First it was Miley Cyrus, now Keke Palmer is the latest teen star to launch a Walmart fashion line…or rather her alter ego, True Jackson is. Inspired by the hit Nickelodeon show, True Jackson VP, Mad Style by True Jackson consists of jumpers, knit tops, leggings, T-shirts, modern dresses, Mary Janes and more for young girls — all for under $14.  Designer Jane Siskin (who has collaborated with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on their Elizabeth and James collection), described the collection as “self-styled pieces that can be mixed and matched, neon colors, leggings, and layers,” at the Fall 2009 presentation Monday evening in New York City.  And while Siskin and her design team did all the work, Palmer still got to have a say.  “They showed me the first samples and I was able to say what I liked and what I didn’t like,” the soon-to-be 16 year old told PEOPLE.  “I pretty much loved everything.”  In the show, Palmer plays a teen who gets a dream job running a youth apparel division of a fashion company — and life may be starting to imitate art as Palmer discovers her own inner-fashionista.  “I’ve definitely become one because of the show – before then I was just wearing that stuff that was nice but I wasn’t like ‘I love this [designer],’ I really didn’t pay attention to the tags on the back of the clothes,” confesses Palmer.  “Now I’m like ‘oh, I know about all these different people and now I can go their websites!’ The wardrobe stylists, they’ve definitely broadened the horizons for me.” Mad Style by True Jackson is available in Walmart stores and on walmart.com.  –Shruti Dhalwala

Who better to try out fall fashion’s most wearable trends than the women of reality TV, who see their everyday moves chronichled for the world? Kim Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari, Trista Sutter, Kara DioGuardi and more tried out trends from plaids and tweeds to sophisticated sheaths and glamorous brights for O magazine. And while we might be used to seeing some of these stars in far sexier looks, they appreciated the change. Kim tells O, “The higher neckline and longer hem are conservative, but it’s fitted to show off my curves,” says Kim. And Kristin says of her frilled-neck dress, “It’s sexy without being in-your-face — it has class.” And isn’t that what we’re all looking to have more of this fall? It may have been her mother, Danielle Staub, who got tongues wagging during the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but all eyes will soon be on Christine Staub. The 15-year-old has just signed with IMG Model– the same agency that represents Gisele Bunchen, Heidi Klum, Kate Moss and Taylor Momsen. “She came into our offices and we were blown away!” Ivan Bart, SVP and Managing Director of IMG Models Worldwide, tells PEOPLE.com. “She has an amazing amount of potential as a model. If we had seen her on the street we would have signed her on the spot.” The 5′10″ soon-to-be high school sophomore is still taking test photos, but it is possible she could hit the catwalk as early as September for New York Fashion Week, according to IMG. “This is all very new to me,” Chirstine told The Daily. “I’ve never really done any modeling before, so I’m just learning while I have a chance and being guided by the best in the business.
