What Matthew Morrison and Jayma Mays Are Hoping to See for Their ‘Glee’ Wedding

Jayma Mays is busy planning a wedding — but technically, it’s not her own. “I’m very excited for ‘Wemma,’ Will and Emma, to be together,” she told PEOPLE of her and Matthew Morrison’s Glee alter egos. “It’s been three seasons, so enough is enough!”

Speaking to PEOPLE at a Glee screening in North Hollywood Tuesday, Mays said she envisions a basic wedding dress for her character. “Emma is a very simple girl, so it has to be clean, and it needs to be simple,” she shared.

It needs to be new, too; as Mays pointed out, “This will be the fourth or fifth wedding dress that she’s worn on the show.”

What Do You Think of Christina Aguilera’s Haute Headpieces?

Christina Aguilera Voice HatsNBC (4)

Christina Aguilera has worn many hats on this season’s The Voice, and not just figuratively (balancing judging, coaching and bickering with contestant Tony Lucca).

On Tuesday night’s semi-final results episode, the singer sported yet another headpiece, donning a Princess Jasmine-inspired crystal-fringed necklace worn as a headband (bottom left) by Martin Bernstein. She paired it with an American Apparel dress, a black Balmain motorcycle jacket and Loree Rodkin hoop earrings.

On Monday’s episode, Aguilera made an equally stunning statement in a crystal skull tiara by Butler and Wilson (bottom right). But even though she topped off her look with a regal accessory, the rest of her ensemble was far from demure: she skipped pants, and opted for a black peplum Alexander McQueen jacket, American Apparel short-shorts, fishnets and Christian Louboutin boots.

Jason Segel’s Stylist: He Makes Fittings Funny

Jason Segel
Johns PKI/Splash News Online

Dressing Jason Segel sounds like kind of a dream job, but his stylist, Leesa Evans, says it’s not always easy.

“Both Jason and [Five-Year Engagement costar] Chris Pratt are hilarious — those two would make me laugh so hard that it was actually hard to get our work done,” she tells PEOPLE of fittings for the flim. “It’s constant jokes and silliness.”

All gags aside, Evans says Segel is actually a stress-free client to work with. “Dressing Jason is delightful because he’s very easygoing and really communicative about what makes him feel good,” she explains. “But it’s harder to find things that fit guys like him, because a lot of times certain designers don’t make something for a guy his height and size.”

However, Evans thinks it’s a good problem to have. “He’s lucky to be six-foot-four,” she jokes.

What Makes ‘The Five-Year Engagement’ Fashion So Fun?

The Five-Year Engagement
Glen Wilson/Universal

You’re probably already a bit stoked to see The Five-Year Engagement this weekend, but drooling over Jason Segel isn’t the only reason to buy a ticket; the fashion is pretty great, too.

“It was fantastic,” costume designer Leesa Evans tells PEOPLE of her time on set. “And what made it so fun was the fact that Emily Blunt and Alison Brie both love fashion so much, too.”

In the film, the actresses play sisters Violet and Suzie, two British transplants with very different style sensibilities. “Leesa really wanted to create something very singular for Violet,” Blunt says. “She likes vintage shops … doesn’t have that much money. [She wore] stuff she found in a thrift store that she’d tailor and alter.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s ‘Veep’ Style: Inspired by Michelle Obama

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Veep
Martin Schoeller/HBO

To dress the part of a fictional Vice President of the United States for the new HBO comedy series Veep, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and costume designer Ernesto Martinez looked to one beacon of style: the First Lady.

“[My character Selina Myers] is not as chic as Michelle Obama, but who could be?” Louis-Dreyfus told PEOPLE at last week’s premiere in Washington, D.C. It was still Obama’s singular style that provided the blueprint for the character’s sexy, yet powerful look, “so we can move it slightly away from the square look — no offense,” Louis-Dreyfus said.

Washington, not known to be the capital of fashion, gets a notch sharper in Veep thanks to Myers’ sophisticated wardrobe. “She’s is a little more cutting edge than normal inside-the-Beltway [people] — but just a little bit more,” Louis-Dreyfus said. “She certainly thinks she’s a lot more cutting edge.”

Rooney Mara Is ‘Excited to be Unrecognizable’ in Her New Extensions

Rooney MaraSplash News Online

Talk about playing extremes: after chopping, dying and shaving her hair for her role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Rooney Mara recently lightened her locks and added lengthy extensions for her latest film, The Bitter Pill. But thankfully the transformation wasn’t quite as traumatic this time around, according to her hair stylist.

“Rooney was excited that she was unrecognizable — even her driver didn’t recognize her on the way out of the salon,” stylist Kristina Barricelli, co-owner of New York’s Gemini 14 salon, tells PEOPLE. “She was really excited because she’d never tried extensions.”

Barricelli used Great Lengths Extensions on the star, after the film’s crew decided that strand-by-strand extensions would be more believable than a wig. First, Barricelli’s sister dyed Mara’s hair — “She made it possible to take her from jet black to ombré without ever compromising the condition of Rooney’s hair,” she explains — then experts at a color lab in Italy hand dip-dyed the extensions to match.
