Would You Match Like Vanessa and Zac?

Chris Pizzello/AP

In Hollywood, it seems like the more in love a couple is, the more they start to resemble each other. In the ’90s there was uber-couple Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow, who sported matching blonde bobs. And Posh and Becks have never been shy about letting their outfits prove their togetherness. So when on-and off-screen sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens turned up at last night’s High School Musical 2 DVD release gala wearing matching leather jackets, we weren’t sure if it was the sweetest thing ever or just a little too cute. So we’ll leave it up to you. Tell us: What do you think about Zac and Vanessa’s matching looks? Would you ever coordinate your outfit with your significant other?

Trendwatch: Stars Sparkle in Silver Dresses at the AMAs

Matt Sayles/AP; Fitzroy Barrett /Landov; Ethan Miller/Getty

Some of our favorite stars lit up the stage at last night’s American Music Awards wearing the night’s brightest trend, shimmering platinum dresses. As much as we love a little sparkle, we usually think that less is more. But these celebs kept their looks from going over-the-top glam by balancing the glitz with simple silhouettes and spare accessories. High School Musical 2’s Ashley Tisdale arrived in a knee-length dress embellished with a sequin butterfly across the bodice and carrying a chic silver clutch. New mom and newlywed Melanie Brown took a break from rehearsing for the Spice Girls reunion tour in a figure-flattering sequined number and silver sequined shoes that gave the paparazzi’s flashbulbs some pretty fierce competition. And Fergie performed her signature song “Fergalicious” wearing in short Jenny Packham sheath glimmering with multi-sized silver paillettes and an elegant cuff. What’s Vanessa’s Best Look: Mini or Maxi?

Gregg DeGuire/WireImage; Michael Tran/FilmMagic

Vanessa Hudgens is shaping up as quite the fashionista — we’ve been loving her casual street style and glam appearances on the red carpet. Seeing her in a multi-print maxidress last night at the Fredericks of Hollywood fashion show benefitting Clothes Off Our Backs, we couldn’t help but wonder if long dresses really are her best look — after all, she did look amazing in her Jay Godfrey black minidress at the Hairspray premiere this summer. But we can’t make up our minds so we want to know what you think! Tell us: What’s Vanessa’s best look? Maxidress or minidress?

Would You Wear Ashley Tisdale’s High-Waisted Pants?

Michael Loccisano/FilmMagic

Ashley Tisdale tends to have her own trendy, rock ‘n’ roll style — whether it’s on the red carpet or the streets of Los Angeles — that really works for her. But our jaws dropped over her outfit on TRL yesterday — check out those pants! The multi-buttoned style covers her entire rib cage to the point of being empire waisted, and the length is cropped to reveal ankle boots. Wow. We thought her Early Show outfit was hard to pull off, but this one beats it for us. But we want to know what you think! Tell us: Would you wear Ashley Tisdale’s pants? Do you like them on her?

If you do like Ashley’s Miss Sixty “Abe One Piece” pants, $379, you can snag a pair at a Miss Sixty store near you. Call 212.575.0315 for more information.

Don Arnold/WireImage

We’ve seen countless female stars in J Brand jeans, from Angelina Jolie to Penelope Cruz. But we had no idea that they had such stylish jeans for men — and that heartthrob Zac Efron loved them as much as the ladies do. The High School Musical 2 star arrived to the Nickelodeon Australian Kids’ Choice Awards in his “Mick” Straight Leg Jeans. We’ve loved his t-shirts and the way he wears his hair — so why wouldn’t we love his jeans too? Get a pair for the guy in your life, $200 at jbrand.com
