‘Girls’ Star Zosia Mamet Is Almost Unrecognizable (Must Be the Hair)

Zosia Mamet Blonde, Shoshanna GirlsJessica Miglio

Is that you, Shoshanna? Not only did Girls star Zosia Mamet go blonde, but she’s also dressing like she walked right off a runway. Basically, she looks nothing like her preppy character on the hit HBO show.

First, let’s talk hair: After subtly lightening her chestnut tresses back in January, the actress decided to go even blonder. She showed off her freshly dyed locks on the Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday.

Moving on to that outfit. While we think her Sex and the City-obsessed character would lust over this fashion-forward floral Honor jumpsuit, Shoshanna would just admire it from afar, never working up the courage to rock it. (She’s more of a Charlotte than a Carrie, after all. But you know, with a touch of Samantha.)

Lena Dunham Gets Our Style Standing Ovation

Feb/18/2013 at 06:00 PM ET

From her show, Girls, to her hilarious Twitter feed, Lena Dunham makes it so easy for us to like her. Her style, on the other hand, has been a bit more challenging.

So when we spotted her in this great little Reed Krakoff dress at the Writers’ Guild Awards Sunday night (where she picked up a Best New Series trophy), we figured we’d send her our internet approval in hopes that this is the beginning of a trend.

The reason her Reed Krakoff look (worn with shoes by the designer and Fred Leighton jewelry) works so well for Dunham is that it’s true to the quirkier styles she prefers without being purposefully unflattering (something she admits to doing on the Girls set).

And though she’s open about wearing whatever designer clothing she gets sent, this outfit looks made for her: it fits well, highlights her face and — best of all — she appears comfortable in it, no shoe removal required. And that’s something we can stand up and cheer for.

Tell us: Do you like Dunham’s look?

If you sit next to Allison Williams on an airplane, we’re just going to warn you: She might start washing her face. In her seat.

“When I fly, halfway through the flight, I like to give myself a face wash,” the Girls star — and new face of Simple skincare — tells PEOPLE. “I just sit there and turn toward the window and use a wipe.”

Yep, she’s that serious about skincare! Which is why joining with Simple — whose products are formulated for sensitive skin — was a no-brainer for the rising star.
