Katy Perry's Super Bowl Prep Involves a Football-Themed Pedicure (Plus: Scoop on Her Sunday Night Style!)

Jan/27/2015 at 01:03 PM ET

In some ways, Katy Perry and Tom Brady are probably having very similar experiences with their Super Bowl preparation. We imagine they’re both doing lots of cardio, eating right, practicing lots of elaborate choreography and talking on the phone to supermodels in their down time. Super Bowl XLVIII might have been a total blowout, but there was another “blowout” that captivated our attention Sunday night: Bruno Mars’s perfect quiff. (Clearly, we tune in to the SB for beauty moments like this and the shirtless dudes.)

The singer’s signature pompadour was in all its well-groomed glory on stage during the halftime show and managed to stay in place despite all of his crazy dance moves. (Seriously, the GIF at left proves it.) Mars teamed his signature pompadour with a custom Saint Laurent suit including a metallic blazer with black lapels. And Twitter loved it all.

The soccer star’s Super Bowl commercial for his spring 2014 H&M bodywear campaign will air during the second quarter. Fans voted on two versions of the ad to decide if they’d rather see Beckham “uncovered” or “covered” — and will have to wait (eagerly, we imagine) to see which version of Beckham doing stunts will end up on air.

“The whole thing is something new, something refreshing,” Beckham told PEOPLE on Saturday at the H&M flagship store in New York City where he greeted 200 lucky fans. “It’s something that’s never been done before. I’m really excited about it.” Read More

You remember Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show, right? The one where she shut it down? (No, literally. She danced so hard the power went out.)

Her whole look got everyone talking, and while Bruno Mars is certainly a stylish guy in his own right, we have a feeling his beauty isn’t going to be quite as buzzworthy. So in honor of #TBT, we’re revisiting last year’s Super Bowl highlight with the star’s makeup artist, Francesca Tolot.
