Does this mean we can expect to see pointy cone-bra corset styles at Target? Mark your fashion calendars: Jean Paul Gaultier is doing a cheap chic collection for Target arriving in stores March 7, 2010. The collection will be available in 250 stores and online through April 11. Gaultier, known for his racy, theatrical, avant-garde styles, was one of the first designers to make lingerie fashionable — he designed the now ubiquitous cone-bra corsets for Madonna’s Blond Ambition tour in the Nineties. Always inspired by the world around him, WWD reports the Gaultier Target collection “pays tribute to the American woman, celebrating the forces of style both past and present in American pop culture.” Does that mean current fans Rihanna and Katy Perry, who attended his Paris runway show this month? Gaultier, who’s also the creative director at Hermes and who received the prestigious CFDA International Award in 2000, is the third guest designer in Target’s Designer Collaborations series, following Anna Sui last month and Alexander McQueen last spring. –Kristin Larson

What’s better than one hot store opening in a new location in West Hollywood? Two hot stores opening at once, of course! When Diavolina and Madison launched with a single party benefiting the Susan G. Komen foundation Thursday night hosted by Current/Eliott designers Meritt Elliot and Emily Current, Lucy Hale, Tichina Arnold, and Mandy Moore came out to celebrate. Moore, who works with Current and Elliot (they are also stylists) regularly, had something else her mind: her husband of seven months, Ryan Adams. “I’m learning every day,” she said of being married. “I’m lucky because I get to spend every day with my best friend and he’s a great influence.” And their pals second the emotion, with Elliot saying of the couple, “Being around both of them is a joy. They’re super fun.” Mandy also praises Emily and Merritt in turn, enthusing, “I’m always happy to support them, I couldn’t be more excited for their success. You know when hope for people and they deserve it and then it happens to the good people — there is justice in the world. I adore them and I am always happy to come out. Anything to show my love.” The other stars were focused on love of a different kind — retail love! “I’ve never been to Diavolina before but, of course, I’ve been to Madison,” said Hale. “I saw a really cute studded bag in there so I’m going to check that out.” Arnold was thinking bigger. “There are a red pair of Yves Saint Laurent shoes over there. I must have those. It’s perfect for the holidays.”

Who says that stars don’t love a bargain? Celebrities and bargain-hunters alike enjoyed frenetic, elbows-out shopping at the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s 12th annual Super Saturday, which took place at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill. Power shopper Barbara Walters was one of the first to peruse merchandise as the gates opened at noon. By 3:20 pm, a booth stocked with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s The Row was “sold out,” according to an announcer on a loudspeaker. “I took the last three shirts,” mentioned Kelly Ripa. She had on a flowing patterned dress by Etro that she said she had fallen in love with when Nicole Richie was on her show in a similar design. “I’m proud of [The Row],” said Ripa. “They have a vision. I got whatever was left over in my size.” Hosted by Blake Lively and Ripa, rows of booths covered by colorful straw umbrellas offered up high fashion — Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenberg, Armani, Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch — at rock bottom prices to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Nearby, Gayle King assessed the deals. “The shopping is good,” she told PEOPLE. “I don’t need one thing, but I’m a girl who loves a bargain, so I wore comfortable shoes. You’re shopping for a good cause, but it’s the thrill of the hunt. I just got a Carolina Herrera dress that was $1790 for $350. I have no idea where I’m going to wear it, but it doesn’t matter!” With beau Jason Hoppy and dog Cookie at her side, Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City was looking to cover up at the beach. “I bought a Michael Kors bathing suit called a “swimming dress,” she mentioned. Last night in Hollywood, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Melissa Joan Hart, Julie Bowen and more helped Soleil Moon Frye launch her eco-friendly baby-clothing line Private Label at an event sponsored by Weleda. The line includes shirts, pants, blankets, and onesies in solid, bold colors –- think American Apparel-esque basics for babies –- and according to co-founder Paige Tolmach was inspired by the colors of a candy store. Soleil Moon Frye looked no further than to her daughters, Poet and Jagger, to model the line during the party. Between keeping an eye on her daughters and entertaining her celebrity friends, Soleil stole a few minutes to give pal Demi Moore a tour of the store. On the heels of Matthew Williamson’s boldly printed summer line, H&M has announced its next high-end collaboration with star-favorite accessories brand Jimmy Choo. The luxury shoe line, which is a red carpet favorite of stars like Kate Hudson, Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Alba, Beyonce and more, will not only be creating a women’s and men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories, but will be extending its range to a women’s clothing line. This marks the first designer accessory collaboration for H&M. Jimmy Choo for H&M will hit stores November 14, 2009 with shoe styles ranging from $60-$200– a steal compared to Jimmy Choo’s $500+ prices. So far, we love what we see. If you want to know the secret to many gorgeous Hollywood bodies look no further then Max Azria.  At the opening of Live! On Sunset, a chic new store in West Hollywood, the designer behind the Herve Leger “bandage dress” displayed his spring collection and received praise from his famous fans. “I think I’m a little bit in love with Max just as a person,” said co-host Hilary Duff, “but he makes every girl’s body look insane and I love that!”  Sophia Bush counts Azria’s “amazing European loving sensibility” as his design gift and said, “he wants us all to feel embraced and loved…a more beautiful version of ourselves.” The real beauty of the curve hugging “bandage dress” is its flattering silhouette for all sizes. “I love the shape that they give. They’re not just for like stick thin people,” said Leona Lewis.  Taraji P. Henson summed up the vast appeal by tellling PEOPLE.com, “The best way I can put it is that it’s like a Spanx in a dress.  You don’t have to wear Spanx (because) it sucks you up and holds you in in all the right places.  That’s the perfect dress!” For Bush, Herve Leger also evoked nostalgic feelings, “I think the first time I ever wore Herve to an event was the Teen Choice Awards a couple years ago.  I was in this amazing dress and it was a great night for me. The new Chloe boutique in Los Angeles may be opening on Melrose Ave., but the celebration was so big, it had to be held at a Hollywood studio! Hosted by Kate Bosworth and Chloe Sevigny, both dressed in the French brand head-to-toe, the party brought out a bevy of celebs to Milk Studios on Thursday night, from Leighton Meester and beau Sebastian Stan to Molly Sims, Zoe Saldana, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Rachel Zoe and Bosworth’s model/boyfriend, James Rousseau. And why all the love for Chloe? “They have a lot of statement pieces, whether it’s a bag, or a blazer, there’s always a bit of flare and edge to everything,” Sigler told PEOPLE.com, herself dressed in a black blazer with a beaded lapel. But the line’s cut out dresses were the hit of the evening, seen on Saldana, Sevigny, and Meester. But for Meester, the decision was all about taking advantage of the warmer West Coast. “I’ve been in a perpetual winter for like an entire year in New York, so I was like I don’t care what it is I’m going backless, I’m going pantless, we’re doing it tonight! ” the Gossip Girl star enthused. Sparking an all-out fashion frenzy, stylish stars turned out in London last night to help designer Matthew Williamson celebrate his collaboration with H&M. The British designer, who kept pal Sienna Miller close by his side, told PEOPLE just how nervous he had been while heading to the launch of his capsule collection with the cheap-chic retailer: “In the car on the way I said to Sienna, do the heart test, feel my heart, and she did. It was pounding!” But it turns out Williamson had nothing to worry about. As VIPs like Mischa Barton and Pixie Geldof grabbed his signature vivid color pieces off the rails of the Regent Street store, he looked on with disbelief. “I was so nervous that no one was going to be here. I’m watching the rails being emptied, literally, it’s freaking me out — in a good way!” For her part, Mischa seemed to agree, congratulating the designer with a huge hug as she arrived in one of his new designs — a studded leather waistcoat and blue tulip skirt. “This is amazing,” she said pointing to a cropped leather jacket, while Sienna Miller, having completed her mission of support, sipped champagne quietly with a few friends. Matthew Williamson’s much-anticipated line for H&M is set to hit stores in just one month. The first shipment will arrive on April 23, followed by a second delivery on May 14 — and we can hardly wait! The British designer — who counts such stars as Eva Longoria Parker, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Sienna Miller and more as fans– is brightening up the affordable retail chain with his bold patterns and bright prints in everything from swimwear to evening gowns. While this collection is certainly more expensive than typical H&M merchandise — prices start at $25 for a pendant necklace to $249 each for this leather jacket and sequin minidress to $349 for this beaded maxidress — they are a fraction of Williamson’s normal prices. For example, a similiar studded belt from his top line retails for $995 (at net-a-porter.com) compared to its $50 H&M price tag. Now that’s a steal! Fifth Avenue just got a little bit more Posh. Giorgio Armani — with the help of some very famous friends– opened his new store on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue last night. Victoria Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Ricky Martin, Chace Crawford, Solange Knowles, Zoe Saldana, Molly Sims, January Jones and more braved the cold to take in Armani’s new four-level, 40,000 square-foot concept store offering every Armani brand. “It’s amazing,” Beckham gushed. “I just got here, but it looks really great.” But don’t expect to see Posh at too many more Fashion Week events. “I have to leave here tomorrow and go home.” She explains, “It’s [Cruz's] birthday. He said, ‘It’s my birthday after Fashion Week’. I’m training him well.” DiCaprio slipped in towards the end of the cocktail party, but right on time for the private dinner Armani hosted for a handful of friends at the new Armani/Ristorante, the first of its kind in the United States. The night, however, was not just about fashion — the charity designer announced his donation of $1 million to the Fund for Public Schools to benefit N.Y.C. school children, which Caroline Kennedy was on hand to accept. What happens when a hot British designer opens up the doors to his first N.Y.C boutique during Fashion Week? The stars turn out in droves to support Matthew Williamson! Lindsay Lohan gushed to PEOPLE.com that Williamson “just has such a passion for it.” Lohan also praised his fit, explaining “he doesn’t cut things too small for girls so when they try them on they can’t fit into it, or too big for girls, everything can be fixed and altered and whatever it is.” She even joked that she had torn her sequined dress right off a model from his upcoming show. “Today we took this up a little bit, so he can’t put this on the runway. I took it off of the runway, off of the model!” Other fans included Heidi Klum, Joy Bryant, Mischa Barton, Becki Newton and Katharine McPhee, who praised Williamson as an “amazing, beautiful designer.” Bryant summed up the love in the hot-pink and white room by telling PEOPLE.com, “It’s great to come out and support him any way I can, and it’s a beautiful store.” Check out more of our N.Y.C. Forget the recession! On Wednesday night, Hollywood fashionistas welcomed Italian designer Alberta Ferretti with open arms. Ferretti celebrated the launch of her 4,500 square foot U.S. flagship store on Melrose Ave., showcasing the Alberta Ferretti Collection, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Alberta Ferretti Girl, accessories and footwear. “This is a great location and a big deal,” said Elisha Cuthbert. Attracting the likes of Lucy Liu, Marisa Tomei and Nicole Richie, Ferretti kept it simple and sweet — just like her frocks. “It’s a very good evening for me.” Inside the store, Richie and Joel Madden sipped on Martin & Rossi champagne with friends Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg inside the innovative space. “People are depressed – they drink and they shop, which is what I’m going to do right now!” said Mad Men’s January Jones, who summed up her take on the current state of economy. “I got a beautiful purple silk coat that’s reversible that has light purple fur on the inside. Its kind of pimpy — I’ll pimp it out occasionally,” said Jones, who admitted to receiving a very kind discount from Ferretti. “How thrifty am I?” – Kimberly Lansing

We’ve been admirers of Topshop’s trendy and reasonably priced styles for a long time — especially the Kate Moss collections — but other than ordering it off of their British website and waiting for it to ship to the U.S., we haven’t had access. But that’s all going to change this fall! In October, Topshop is opening their first store in New York City and launching their U.S. website in September with most items set to be under $100. They’ll even be doing same day deliveries within Manhattan! We’ll keep you posted on the website’s launch so we can all get a little bit of affordable British cool in our closets.

She might be busy working on her new country album in Nashville, but Jessica Simpson still had some time to shop. The Texas native and her BFF CaCee Cobb spent Friday afternoon hanging in one of their favorite haunts, H. Audrey, a high-end designer boutique and rock-n-roll art gallery. But for Jessica, it’s not just about the trendy boutique’s clothes. The pet-loving singer tells PEOPLE, “H. Audrey is dog-friendly! Daisy shops with me and plays with [the owner] Holly’s dog, Alfie. The store has everything from Alexander McQueen to Golden Goose cowboy boots — which are perfect for Nashville. I also love the music gallery upstairs. I bought a Bruce Springsteen pic I love.” Simpson isn’t the only country cooner who frequents H. Audrey. Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes are also regulars. On this trip, a casually-clad Simpson stocked up on designer duds and even had time to take some photos with fans. Jessica left with Linda Farrow vintage avaitor shades, $290, a Gryphon brown leather jacket, $920 — which she wore out of the store — a Helmut Lang hooded leather vest, $795, a black Iro dress ($260), Rory Becca gray and white striped top, $258 — and her Bruce Springsteen print.

On hand to celebrate ultra-luxe cashmere line TSE’s new free-standing New York city boutique was fan Julianne Moore, who couldn’t be happier about the newest store in her hometown. “The stuff is great. I have always been a fan of TSE. It is really beautiful,” says Julianne, clad in a black halter dress and fitted turtleneck by the line and patent YSL booties. “The fabric is always soft and the colors are always great, and [Augustine Tse] is such a lovely lovely man too.” Her shiny boots were another story though. “They are not the easiest to walk in, but they are not terrible because they have a big platform in the front,” she laughs. As if stars needed another reason to head to Saks! The Elie Tahari boutique opened inside Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills Tuesday night and Marcia Cross, Kristen Bell, and Big Shots‘ Jessica Collins stopped by to check out Tahari’s super soft v-neck tees, cashmere sweaters, silk tops, and tailored slacks. Inside the party, Cross chatted with a girlfriend while Bell caught up with two male friends and sipped champagne. “A friend of mine actually started working with [Elie Tahari] and said ‘you’ve got to see their stuff’ and I wasn’t familiar with them before,” Bell told PEOPLE. “I think that the same year he blossomed and started having events like this and designing in a different way,” For new mom Cross, the event was even more exciting. “Can we shop tonight?” she asked PEOPLE on the way in. “I don’t get out of the house anymore, so if we couldn’t shop tonight, we’d go at nap time tomorrow.”
