The May 3rd released bittersweet comedy written, directed and starred Adrienne Shelly, who was murdered November 1, 2006- before she could see the amazing reviews her debut film received. The Adrienne Shelly Foundation was set up to help young women pursue their filmmaking dreams, and to assist others in making the same leap from acting to writing and directing as Adrienne had done so successfully. When we heard our favorite fashion guru, Tim Gunn, had written his first book, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on a copy.
