Have Jessica Simpson’s Christmas Tree in Your Home this Holiday

Jessica Simpson Macy's TreeCourtesy Macy’s; Inset: Kevin Mazur/WireImage

This holiday season, skip the hassle of choosing a Christmas tree and just let a celebrity do the work for you. That’s the thinking behind Macy’s first-ever Celebrity Tree Auction, launching Thursday and benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The auction — part of Macy’s annual “Believe” campaign — features holiday trees designed by 14 of Macy’s biggest stars, including Jessica Simpson (left), Martha Stewart, Diddy, Donald Trump and more. Each is a playful take on the creator’s aesthetic: Simpson’s features gold-wrapped branches adorned with pearls; Stewart’s is topped with gingerbread cookies and candy canes; Diddy’s Sean John tree is covered in rhinestones; and Trump’s is made of gold bullion bars, naturally. We also love Emeril Lagasse’s tree, composed of pots and pans. Additional trees were created by Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Rachel Roy, Kenneth Cole, the Material Girl team, Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors and Greg Norman.

Time Out! Quarterback Eli Manning Designs Men’s Watches for Charity

He relies on the play clock during his weekly football games, but off the field, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning keeps time with “simple” watches, he tells PEOPLE.

“I like watches that are efficient, easy to look at,” he says. “Not too many bells and whistles. I can look down, see the time easily and read the date.”

Being a man of such few needs, he recently joined forces with Citizen — a brand he’s worked with for the past four years — to create two limited-edition Eli Manning chronograph watches. Just 1,000 of each timepiece — one has a polyurethane strap ($599), the other stainless steel ($675) — were produced, and proceeds from the sale of each benefit the March of Dimes.

“I jumped at the opportunity to do this,” he shares, adding that his involvement was pretty painless. “They sent me some specs, some options for dials and colors, put them together and they turned out great.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Offers to ‘Show You Mine’ in New AIDS PSA

First recognized by the Centers for Disease Control in 1981, AIDS has plagued our world for 30 years now. To draw attention to the tragic anniversary — and reignite support for the cause — designer Kenneth Cole, chairman of amfAR, partnered with MTV International’s Staying Alive Foundation to reinterpret the classic red AIDS ribbon.

Cole’s double ribbon is available now on Gilt.com, and 100 percent of net profits will benefit AWEARNESS, the Kenneth Cole Foundation, in support of the Staying Alive Foundation and amfAR. And to promote the pin, a slew of celebrities — including Sarah Jessica Parker and Cyndi Lauper — recently filmed a PSA for the cause (above), urging people to continue supporting AIDS and HIV research.
