Daisy Fuentes on How to Look Like a Million Bucks — Without Spending It!

Courtesy Kohl’s

When Daisy Fuentes first launched her exclusive line for Kohl’s in 2004, she had no idea that it would turn into the base of a fashion empire. “I started with a small sportswear line. What I thought would be something of a ‘hobby’ quickly turned into full-blown business,” Daisy tells PEOPLE. And what a business it is! With the launch of her newest collection for Kohl’s, Daisy continues to dress everyday women to look like a million bucks without spending it. “Today’s fashion savvy women are busier than ever, doing it all and wanting it all,” she said. “Looks must transition from day to night, must easily mix and match and must be affordable.” And besides her go-to LBD, she says the key pieces that exude this idea from her collection are “sweaters and leggings.” But gathering the separates is simple, it’s putting together the outfit that creates chaos in your closet. “Layers are great,” she advises. “Start with jeans or leggings and a cute t-shirt or shirt. Add sexy boots, a lush sweater or coat, belt the T-shirt or the sweater.” And for the final touch? “Glam accessories and modern bag…and don’t forget the sunglasses!” Know that you know how to put it all together, shop the Daisy Fuentes one-stop shop which includes everything from intimates and bedding to fragrances and clothing at kohls.com. –Jessie Goldberg

Get ‘Gossip Girl’ Party-Perfect Dresses — Designed by the Show’s Stylist For Under $50!

Kyle Dean Reinford

When Gossip Girl stylist Eric Daman was approached to create a line for budget-friendly chain Charlotte Russe, deciding what he would design was a no-brainer.  ”It just seems so apropos to what I do on the show,” he told PEOPLE of his collection of party dresses. “It’s like a ball or a gala every episode. I didn’t want to do separates. Serena van der Woodsen T-shirts? You can buy that. I wanted to do something special.” Even the Blair Waldorfs of the world will be tempted by Daman’s dresses, with prices starting at only $34.50. Expect lots of full skirts made for twirling with glittering accents galore. And while he loves designing high-fashion at low prices, he has to admit, dressing on an unlimited budget is a treat. But when it comes to picking his favorite characters to clothe, like any proud parent, it’s tough to choose. “It’s like your children. You can’t pick your favorite child. I love them all,” he says, before revealing his weakness for the show’s most dapper gentleman. “Chuck Bass has a very special place in my heart. It’s that Saville Row thing.” So, is a men’s line up next for the Upper East Side’s resident wardrobe specialist? “Yes, but I’m not allowed to talk about that yet,” he hints. H&M’s Next Designer Collaboration Revealed: Lanvin!

After much anticipation over which designer would helm H&M’s next collaboration, the Swedish retailer is finally ready to dish! Coveted French label Lanvin will be the next high-fashion brand to bring its star-loved creations to the mass market store. “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public,” Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin, says in a statement confirming the collaboration this morning. While there aren’t many details on specifics of Alber’s womenswear and menswear designs for H&M yet, expect the luxurious French cut, tailoring and details that have become synonymous with the Paris-based design house. A first look at Alber’s new creations will be revealed on November 2, but you’ll have to wait until November 20, when the collaboration is set to hit stores in North America, to shop the much-anticipated collection. In the meantime, check out this video where Lanvin’s designer discusses the collaboration. Tell us: Are you excited for Lanvin’s designer collaboration to hit H&M in November?Andrea DeSimone

The Scoop on Forever 21′s Debut Designer Collaboration with Brian Lichtenberg

Courtesy Forever 21

When we learned that Forever 21 was teaming with Brian Lichtenberg on its first-ever designer collaboration, visions of affordable, sequined dresses and spangly bodysuits filled our head. But with just a few weeks left before the much-anticipated collection hits Forever 21 stores on August 13, the designer is clearing up a few misconceptions. “There are are only so many places that a women can wear a glitter dress; I want to open up my brand,” he tells WWD of the budget-friendly collection of T-shirts and tanks that he has designed for the mass retailer. “[This line] is going to be for the customer that is younger and has seen my work on celebrities and musicians, but doesn’t have the money to plunk down for my main line.” And just how affordable is he talking? Styles will retail for about $15 for both men and women. And Lichtenberg has transformed cotton basics into jaw-dropping statement pieces. Inspired by Lady Gaga‘s “Telephone”, Lichtenberg has created a tank crisscrossed with yellow caution tape that has “Lichtenberg” and “No21″ scrolled across to it. Other designs include “Lichtenberg” spilling out of a nail polish bottle and his initials “BL” spelled out in lipsticks. We can’t wait to see more of Lichtenberg’s styles. Tell us: Are you excited for Forever 21 and Brian Lichtenberg’s collaboration? Andrea DeSimone
