Bella Thorne on Getting Crazy With Her Hair: 'Sometimes, You Just Need to Be a Little Uncomfortable'

Nov/21/2014 at 09:00 AM ET

At 17, Bella Thorne may be a relative red carpet newbie, but she’s already achieved pro status in the “enviable hair” category. We caught up with the actress, new author and Candie’s spokeswoman to get the scoop on how she does it (as it turns out: Lots of cuts to keep it healthy and turning down any attempts to tease it). But, she tells PEOPLE, there are styles that even the queen of bold hair is hesitant about.

PEOPLE Style Editors Designed 3 Makeup Pouches -- and They're Awesome!

Nov/20/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

We’re so excited to share these zip pouches with you! Editors here at PEOPLE came up with three fun sayings, which are printed on the designs. And we also dreamt up the look of the mini carryalls: canvas with a rose-gold dipped-paint effect and a matching rose-gold zipper. They’re perfect for toting around makeup, but they’re cute enough to use as a casual clutch. Oh, and by the way, the pouches are just 35 bucks, but each one comes stuffed with over $100 worth of beauty products. Can you say, perfect holiday gift? (Can you also say, uhh, I’m keeping this for myself?)

We Tried a Ton of Jumpsuits and This Is Officially the Most Flattering One

Nov/13/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

We’ve been hunting for the perfect black jumpsuit for a long time. Like, a really long time. The length of time might have something to do with the fact that our standards are really high. The jumpsuit has to be perfect: crazy-flattering (on a variety of body types, not just tall thin ones), sexy, wearable with a bra we already own (no shopping for some wacky, uncomfortable bra or stick-on situation), comfortable and dance-friendly, not more than $100 and machine washable. Yes, machine washable. We told you: We’re demanding. Well, it took a while, but we finally found one. Behold, the perfect jumpsuit:

So, let’s recap: It’s flattering. We had a bunch of staffers try this on and they all loved how they looked in the design. The material is stretchy, but by no means skin-tight — it skims your curves in just the right way.

It’s sexy. Check out that neckline.

And yet: It doesn’t require some insane bra.

It’s comfortable (see: earlier note on stretchy material) and dance-friendly (take it from this editor, who broke out some of her best moves in the jumpsuit).

It costs 100 bucks — less if you use our exclusive discount code, STYLE15, which gets you 15% off, bringing the price down to $85.

And yes, it’s true: This jumpsuit is machine washable. Can we get a hallelujah?

Shop it by clicking on the product in the video or by going here.

And before you check out, take a look at these other fashion and beauty finds PEOPLE editors are loving.

Nicole Richie, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé are High-Low Fashion Mix-Masters

Nov/11/2014 at 01:08 PM ET

What do these trendsetting beauties have in common? They have all seamlessly blended reasonably-priced clothing with luxe high-fashion to create killer ensembles. It’s not the first time these three A-listers have mixed it up flawlessly, and we think that there’s a lesson to be learned here: When pairing mid or lower-priced items with investment pieces, make sure that there is a common thread (no pun intended). For example:

Finally! High-Quality Makeup Brushes That Aren't Crazy-Expensive

Nov/10/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

When it comes to makeup brushes, we find that you either have to spend a lot of money (like, a lot) or you have to settle for pretty mediocre ones that lose their bristles every time you use them, are rough on your face and feel stiff. We were just about ready to bite the bullet and throw down serious cash when we discovered this set, which features five brushes of varying sizes. It’s $35 if you’ve shopped our videos before — under 30 bucks if you’re a first-time shopper (using the code STYLE15 at checkout).

The set comes with five brushes designed for applying bronzer, blush, shadow, lip color and gel liner, plus contouring and highlighting.

It’s all about the bristles: They’re supersoft and are gentle enough for sensitive skin. Also, you don’t have to worry about them falling out. And as you’ve noticed if you watch the video, the brushes come in a cute little zip pouch. It’s ideal for carrying the brushes when you’re traveling, but the pouch is also perfect if you want to tote makeup in your bag.

Shop the brushes by going here or clicking on the product in the video above. If you’re new to Joyus, enter STYLE15 at checkout the bring the price of the set down from $35 to $29.75. And shop more stuff editors love here.
