She recently headlined a Duran Duran music video and still gets booked to walk the most coveted runways, but Naomi Campbell says there’s nothing ‘super’ about her storied career.

“I would never call myself that,” she says of the term ‘supermodel’ in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “I don’t have any superhuman powers.”

To that end, the 41-year-old works hard to maintain her famous figure. “For me, carbs are a treat now,” she says, admitting to doing “everything I can to keep my skin elasticated.” (While speaking with Oprah Winfrey in 2010 she confessed to going on 18-day cleanses and jumping rope to keep her face lean.)

“I still love what I do,” she explains, but instead of ‘supermodel,’ she’s drawn to terms including “transformation, reinvention, and chameleon,” buzz words which demonstrate a marked departure from her mantra in the late ’90′s. “I never diet. I smoke. I drink now and then. I never work out. I work very hard and I am worth every cent,” she infamously told Playboy in 1999. CHECK OUT STAR-LOVED PIECES IN ‘I REALLY LOVE MY…’

Paris Fashion Week may represent the finest handiwork in couture design, but Jean Paul Gaultier’s latest offering didn’t leave one bereaved father in stitches.

“The family was upset to see those pictures,” Mitch Winehouse told The Sun of Gaultier’s show, which commemorated the late singer. “We’re still grieving for her loss, and we’ve had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy’s death.

“It portrays a view of Amy when she was not at her best, and glamorizes some of the more upsetting times in her life,” he continues. (The collection heavily references Winehouse’s disheveled aesthetic, reckless attitude and penchant for smoking.)

But Gaultier stands by his intentions: “She was an icon of fashion and truly, the sense of how she mixed the clothes — it was great,” he said after Wednesday’s show. “It is very joyous.”

And though Style.com diplomatically critiques the collection (perhaps neither to incense the veteran designer nor the late chanteuse), they too dubbed the presentation, and all it represented, “So sad.” Tell us: Do you find Jean Paul Gaultier’s presentation insensitive?

The dresses Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli sent down the runway in Paris Wednesday were fit for a high-fashion bride: feminine florals ruled, there were lacey accents galore and more than half of the ladylike frocks were white. With a little finessing, a veil and a bouquet, we could easily see some of the haute couture gowns walking down an aisle.

Though she wasn’t there, we do wonder: was Anne Hathaway paying attention? The bride-to-be is quite close to Valentino, who, while retired, still has influence in the fashion world, and even spoke out about her potential wedding gown recently. “I would do my best creation for her,” he told PEOPLE in December. “She’s a lovely person. She wears the clothes very, very well. So I would do something special … but I cannot say exactly which type of dress.”

The final look of the show, seen at left, was particularly bridal, with a flowing skirt, airy sleeves and floral detail. “It should be interesting,” Hathaway’s stylist Rachel Zoe told PEOPLE of helping her client find a dress. “She’s so young and such a romantic. It will be a fashion ‘moment’ whatever she decides.”

Zoolander wasn’t available, but Adrien Brody was the perfect model for Prada’s fall 2012 menswear show in Milan Sunday. The actor, who skipped the Golden Globes to walk the Prada runway, hit the catwalk in a double-breasted red coat with a black velvet collar and fur-trimmed lapel — plus matching red sunglasses.

Joining Brody were several other A-list stars, including Willem Dafoe, Gary Oldman, Tim Roth, Emile Hirsch and Jamie Bell. But according to the New York Times‘s “On the Runway” blog, not all of them appeared to possess that modeling gene.

Writer Eric Wilson called Bell and Hirsch “suitably somber” but lacking in height, joking, “No offense, fellas, but modeling is for tall folk.” Meanwhile, he criticized Tron: Legacy actor Garrett Hedlund for committing “two cardinal sins of modeling — first making eye contact with the audience and second, he didn’t seem to know what to do with his hands.” Chalk it up to first-time nerves?

Though the models were hit or miss, the clothes earned decent reviews from the Times and Associated Press. “It’s about power,” designer Miuccia Prada told the Times of her collection, staged on a giant red carpet. “But it started with the idea of characters.” Tell us: Would you like to see Brody work the runway?

VOTE ON HIGH-FASHION STYLES IN ‘LAST NIGHT’S LOOK: HIT OR MISS?’

The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Treasure Bra may cost a pretty penny, but Miranda Kerr made it look oh-so-pretty Wednesday night during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York. The model walked the runway wearing the $2.5 million diamond-studded bra by London Jewelers — plus an elaborate shell costume — and drew effusive cheers from husband Orlando Bloom, who sat front-row during the show.

The hour-long presentation had a lot of million-dollar moments: after performing his hit “Stronger” and dedicating it to his “superangel,” late mom Donda, Kanye West was joined onstage by pal Jay-Z for a duet from their Watch the Throne album. (West was supposed to perform at the show in 2007, but canceled after his mother’s untimely death.) As the guys got down, a glowing Beyoncé was rushed to the front row, dancing along and mouthing the words while proudly watching her hubby.

Next came Maroon 5, who performed their hit “Moves Like Jagger” as the models sashayed down the glimmering silver catwalk. Frontman Adam Levine broke away from his bandmates when girlfriend Anne V. hit the runway, and walked her toward the cameras before planting a quick kiss on her cheek.

Nicki Minaj helped close the show, treating the audience to her “Super Bass” as models like 19-year-old Karlie Kloss hit the stage in disco-inspired PINK lingerie. As the music wound down, a bevy of balloons fell from the ceiling, putting a colorful end to a pretty wild night. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs Tues., Nov. 29 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.

She designs her own clothing line, but Whitney Port isn’t making any extra room in her closet these days. The former City star tells FabSugar.com that she’s on a “shopping strike.”

“I just moved into a new place and organized my closet, and I realized that I really shouldn’t buy anything else — I literally have stuff with tags still attached — so I’m just going to revamp my existing pieces for fall,” she says. That includes menswear — “I love a pantsuit,” she shares — plus kitten heels.

Port was on hand at Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley, Calif., last week to present the spring 2012 Whitney Eve show and benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation during an “Eve of Hope.” “I have family members that have been affected by the disease, and I really want to stress the importance of early detection,” the starlet shares. “It’s so crucial to go out and get tested, because the earlier they find something, the better chances you have of survival.”

Port’s spring 2012 collection includes tops, skirts, dresses and blazers with stripes, swirls of color and delicate details. “I mostly design what I want to wear myself,” Port explains. “I try to focus on easy pieces, printed rompers, organic jersey dresses and slouchy tees. I really stand by my designs … I poured my heart into this collection.”

Designing has given Port a new appreciation for consumers, too. “I’ve realized just how much it costs to make clothes, and I have become pretty frugal when buying new things,” she shares. “I kind of try to save on everything!” But she does treat herself now and then. “I mostly splurge on bags and shoes,” she says, “because I know I’ll wear them forever.”

She must be on Santa’s good list! Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr has been chosen by the brand to model the iconic Fantasy Treasure Bra — a $2.5 million diamond-studded piece — in the Christmas Dreams & Fantasies catalogue and during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November.

“It’s such an honor to wear the bra,” Kerr tells PEOPLE. “And it’s such a piece of artwork! It’s absolutely stunning — it kind of feels a little mermaid-like — but I can’t believe I’m wearing $2.5 million on my chest.”

The aqua push-up brassiere, created in part by Long Island’s London Jewelers, is handset with nearly 3,400 precious gems, including 142 carats of white and yellow diamonds, pearls, faceted citrines and aquamarines, all set in 18-karat white and yellow gold. The centerpiece features two white diamonds — each more than 8 carats — and two 14-plus-carat yellow diamonds.

“We put a lot of love into this bra,” jeweler Candy Udell tells PEOPLE. Adds daughter Randi, “We put a lot of our most favorite elements into it, such as the tassel — it’ll be wonderful with her walking down the runway, the tassel swinging with her body. We thought about the runway show, and what would catch everyone’s attention.”

The runway show will be a very special moment for Kerr: aside from wearing the Fantasy Treasure Bra, she’ll be returning to the Victoria’s Secret catwalk after taking a one-year hiatus while she was pregnant with son Flynn. “It’s very special,” she says of rejoining the show. “And now I feel better than ever. I feel healthier than I’ve ever felt. It was wonderful to have a bit of time off after I was pregnant and having Flynn. But now I’m back in the swing of things and it feels good.”

In fact, you could say it feels really good. “I feel like more than $1 million,” she jokes. “I feel like $2.5 million.”

Even California beach babes get the jitters about being photographed in a bikini, it seems! After hitting the Diesel runway in a cobalt blue glass bikini Thursday to celebrate opening night of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach, Kristin Cavallari told PEOPLE she was nervous about modeling in a bikini and spent weeks at the gym to prepare. “This is the first time I have ever walked a runway in a bathing suit,” Cavallari said. “The glass sort of cut into my skin, and I was really nervous.” The former Hills star knocked them dead when she walked down the runway in a beautiful cobalt blue, one shoulder bikini made with glass, designed by Diesel and inspired by SKYY Vodka’s iconic blue glass bottle. At least she’s now perfectly toned for her upcoming nuptials to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. “I am so happy and currently planning my wedding,” shared Cavallari. –Linda Marx

She became a household name after a compelling appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show and now, transgender model Lea T has landed a swimwear campaign for hip Brazilian brand Blue Man. The 28-year-old made a splash on the runway during the Fashion Rio Summer 2012 event in Brazil Wednesday, working the catwalk in a colorful bikini. Later, she posed in a snakeskin printed, cutaway suit paired with denim hot pants, according to U.K.’s Telegraph. On Tuesday, T was spotted on a beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, shooting Blue Man’s 2012 swim campaign with a host of sexy male models, as famed photographer Terry Richardson snapped away. This isn’t T’s first foray into the world of high fashion, however; she starred in a sultry ad campaign for Givenchy and has walked in runway shows for Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch. –Kim Peiffer

When it comes to Lady Gaga‘s involvement with French fashion house Mugler, she may be on the runway, but she’s not on the payroll. “It’s just friends helping each other,” longtime Gaga stylist and newly-anointed Mugler creative director, Nicola Formichetti (left), told the New York Times. “She had been aware of what he was doing for years,” adds Formichetti pal Jo-Ann Furniss. “He’s not making a name off her back, and she realized that. Their relationship is very touching and nice.” Gaga’s symbiotic association with Mugler started while filming her epic “Telephone” video, when she and costar Beyoncé were given access to the fashion house’s archives of clothing and accessories. “Then [Gaga] started wearing them [out], and I thought it still worked in a pop-culture way,” Formichetti says. Though Gaga provides stylistic input, and has arguably given the brand a boost, she is not remunerated for her contributions. “I think when you start talking about money, it stops the whole creative process,” says Formichetti. And while he’s inspired by his famous collaborator (he calls his adherence to her work “almost evangelical”), Formichetti insists that Mugler is not dependent on her for sales. “If we were, it would mean our business has no substance,” he counters. The (fashion) show really does go on! Monday, Dior premiered a sultry commercial featuring Kate Moss at the brand’s spring 2011 ready-to-wear runway show in Paris. The fast-paced short, created by Jonas Åkerlund, oscillates from an intimate one-on-one with the model in her lavish hotel room to a voyeuristic view into her glamorous fishbowl. Seemingly the only respite from the fashion frenzy is her Dior Addict lipstick in Diorkiss #578, which she applies no fewer than three times. Before extending a gorgeous long leg from her chauffeured ride, Moss admits, “A girl can’t make an entrance without her lipstick.” So that’s where she gets her confidence! –Justine Harman

Checking in? Marc Jacobs turned his Louis Vuitton runway show into a dark and opulent hotel lobby — complete with gilded escalators and French maids — during Paris Fashion week on Wednesday. And he even got some V.I.P. guests to check in: strutting down the black lacquer catwalk were Naomi Campbell, Amber Valetta and Carolyn Murphy, plus Kate Moss, who closed the show in a black rubberized lace jacket and tiny shorts, cigarette in hand. Backstage, Jacobs explained the concept behind Hotel Vuitton. “We thought of every aspect of this hotel fantasy, people getting out of elevators with attendants, French maids dusting and serving the guests,” he told reporters. “I just thought it was a weird, nice but melancholy end to Paris Fashion Week.” As for the show’s decadent and slightly naughty theme — some models were handcuffed to their handbags — Jacobs said, “We all have our fetish, it’s something that comes from the heart that creates an obsession for something, it’s instinctive. Whether it’s a bag or a shoe, a piece of music or an automobile.” Guests — who included Emma Stone and Alex Pettyfer — seemed to dig that slightly kinky vibe, though. “It was very sexy,” model Natalia Vodianova told PEOPLE. “Although it was so much to take in this early in the morning!” –Monique Jessen

Will it be a McQueen for the princess? As Sarah Burton — who took over as creative director of Alexander McQueen following the designer’s death last year — sent out a collection in Paris on Tuesday that pointed to “The Ice Queen and her court” as the show’s theme, rumors are running rampant that she’s designing a gown for a real (and certainly warmer) princess-to-be. The U.K.’s Sunday Times splashed “Revealed: McQueen designer to make royal wedding dress” across its front page this weekend, but the British house denies the commission for Kate Middleton. A representative for McQueen says, “I can confirm that Alexander McQueen are not making Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.” But with a fall/winter 2011 collection that culminated in not one, but four frothy white gowns fit for a princess, Burton certainly proved she was up for the task. Suggestions for the designer of the dress that Middleton, 29, will wear at her wedding to Prince William on April 29 have ranged from British designers Bruce Oldfield to Philippa Lepley. The palace has consistently said Middleton wants to keep the designer a secret until the big day, though, and a palace spokesman wouldn’t comment Sunday saying this was simply the latest “speculation.” Still, fashionistas are holding out hope that the McQueen rumor will turn out to be true. VOTE ON WEDDING GUEST STYLE!

It was a wintery—albeit stylish—day at the Burberry Prorsum show during London Fashion Week, with stars including Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth popping in for the inclement-weather-themed runway show. “Everybody is asking me if it hurts to sit down with the studs, but it doesn’t at all, it’s just very heavy,” Kate Bosworth told WWD, referring to the Burberry pencil skirt virtually covered with spikes and studs she wore to the show. After a flurry of fashion models stormed down the runway in fur-trimmed coats and belted trenches, the show ended with a blizzard of fake snow covering the catwalk, while models paraded around wearing matching see-through plastic capes over their outfits. And for those who didn’t score a front-row seat like Bosworth and Bilson, many Brits still took in all the action; the show was screened live to the public in Piccadilly Circus in London (and on the web for those of us not in the U.K.). –Kim Peiffer

Could dogs be the must-have of the spring 2012 season? On the heels of Isaac Mizrahi’s dyed poodles, Mulberry models hit the runway with schnauzers! “The moment I saw them, I couldn’t stop laughing!,” first-row attendee Kirsten Dunst told PEOPLE. Other highlights for her? “I loved the colors, the flowy dresses and skirts.” Designer Emma Hill said her starting point for the collection came from Roald Dahl’s fairytale The Fantastic Mr. Fox, but she’s been inspired by another famous Brit recently: Kate Middleton, who has been spotted with a Mulberry clutch. “She is like an ambassador for Britain, and I think it is amazing to see that,” Hill said. “It was genuine that she liked it.” Any chance of the princess-to-be getting a namesake bag, like fellow English style icon Alexa Chung? “You will have to wait and see!” Hill teased. “We’re not much for naming things after people…but never say never!” – reporting by Dimi Gaidatzi

Forget the rehearsals — when fashion is in your blood like Kingston Rossdale, you just hit the runway! “He ran out, she had to catch him,” a source told PEOPLE after the L.A.M.B. fashion show ended with a runway appearance by designer Gwen Stefani with her son Kingston at her side, wearing wee, modified army pants. But it’s no real surprise that the 4-year-old was psyched for the Thursday show (part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week) itself. “They’re good, they’re here, they’re excited,” Stefani said of sons Kingston and Zuma before the show. “They’re pumped up. They’ve been building it up, ‘Fashion show! Fashion Show!’” And is her brood of two boys into fashion? “They are actually,” said the designer. “By force . . . I force them to be dressed up all the time.” As for the show itself, the designer explained “we decided to divide the collection up into categories. A ragamuffin girl, glamour girl, a mod, and soldier girl. And we’re doing like six little miniature fashion shows with different hair and makeup for each.” Her front row fans, including designer Christian Siriano, loved it! “I love Gwen,” gushed Siriano, “She paved the way for a lot of women in the business.” –Jeffrey Slonim

Let them eat cake, proclaimed the pastel-hued dresses from Isaac Mizrahi’s Fall 2011 collection, which showed at New York Fashion Week yesterday. The designer’s latest pieces were inspired by, yes, cake — and poodles. Mizrahi (a known dog lover) introduced poodle-themed pins, earrings and updos that coordinated with the dog models trotting down the runway. Seven cakes inspired by the dresses were provided by Cake Boss Buddy Valastro and were carried down the runway on silver platters. Kate Bosworth has spent her fair time in front of the camera — even modeling for Calvin Klein Jeans ads — but that doesn’t mean she’s over the thrill of seeing a runway show. “I always love coming backstage and seeing all the models,” she told PEOPLE behind the scenes of the Calvin Klein Women’s Collection show during New York Fashion Week on Thursday. “Their makeup is always my favorite. It’s just beautiful skin. I’m always tearing pages out of magazines and saying to makeup artists. . . I want to look like this!” Other famous faces at Calvin Klein Collection included Zoe Saldana and Kerry Washington, who said of her deep purple dress, ““It’s a very royal color. I’m trying to get my princess thing on.” Women’s Creative Director Francisco Costa had royalty-worthy praise in return for his bevvy of famous beauties, saying he loves “their intelligence, their attitude, they’re quick, smart girls, they look great,” he said. “They’re all really inspiring to me.” Costa also explained the actual inspiration behind the highly-praised collection. “The collection is very textural,” said Costa. “It’s sporty, it’s fast, interesting shapes, we have dresses that flow up against the body, very close, well-fitted. And the color palate is divine, from grays and whites, all sort of desert colors, willow, chestnut.” –Jeffrey Slonim

Catherine Zeta-Jones has not one, but two special Michaels in her life — her husband Michael Douglas and her go-to designer Michael Kors. So, of course, she would turn up at Kors’s 30th anniversary runway show with her recovering husband in tow to show their combined support from the front row. Both decked out in Michael Kors, Zeta-Jones gushed of the clothes, “I loved the collection. Sometimes it’s difficult to express.” But Douglas had no such trouble weighing in on his own state of being, telling PEOPLE he feels “pretty good” as he scooted backstage with his wife on his arm. Other fans at the show included Debra Messing, Angie Harmon and Rene Russo. “I loved it,” added Anjelica Houston, who also spoke about the presence of her longtime friend Douglas. “I know, isn’t that great. We’ve all been rooting for him so much. I’m so proud of him.” The show itself had the sparkle and flow of the disco era, recalling vintage Halston, with throbbing ’70s tunes such as “I Feel Love,” playing on the soundtrack. “The colors were smashing,” said Bette Midler, who was also in the front row. The disco era fashion also brought back memories for Midler, who admitted to having a less refined version of the look the first time around. “Whooooh, big time,” she said. “It was terrifying.
