We love when warm weather arrives so we can whip out the bright colors and experiment with our clothes, accessories and even our makeup! There are tons of options, but lately we’ve been loving hot pink polish on our toes and a bright yellow statement necklace to go with an otherwise subdued outfit. It’s the perfect segue into summer. Mischa Barton must’ve been thinking the same thing with her head-to-toe color including matching neon yellow jacket, tassel scarf and shoes. The bold look works for the former O.C. star, but we don’t know if we could pull it off ourselves. The editors at StyleWatch want to know if you’d give this hue a try. Fergie has never been one to shy away from a fashion risk. So when we spotted her rocking a pair of drop-crotch pants, which have been showing up all over the runways, we weren’t exactly surprised. We know that the ’80s are back in a big way, but we’re not sure if taking fashion cues from MC Hammer is a step we’re willing to take in the name of fashion. So we weren’t surprised when we saw her making another bold fashion statement on set with the new, summer-friendly version of the boyfriend jean — the boyfriend short. This new trend looks ultra-comfortable, and paired with a leather vest and chic ankle boots, the look certainly works for her edgy style. But we’re not sure how we feel about the trend for ourselves — like many things on Gossip Girl, it might be a little out of our reach. We love Jessica Alba’s casual style — fun T-shirts, cool cardigans and great jeans. So we had to look twice at her outfit for a friend’s party today in Los Angeles. Her accessories, including her luxe Gerard Darel snakeskin bag and lace-up sandals, are totally killer, and Blair Waldorf herself would covet that feminine ruffled blouse. But we just can’t decide how we feel about Jessica’s high-waisted purple pants, which are pleated and pegged at the ankle. When you are gorgeous and fit as Jessica, you can pull off a look this tricky, but for the rest of us, this might be one look we have to sit out. Tell us: Would you wear Jessica’s purple pants?

Selma Blair popped up in a provocative, glammed up Marchesa jumpsuit for the premiere of Hellboy 2, looking so much more glamazon than ’70s disco queen! The wide-leg bottoms are just wide enough (without venturing into bell-bottom territory!), making the suit look elegant and comfortable. Minimal accessories — small earrings and a classic Chanel clutch — keep it from looking costume-y, and tasteful beading along the plunging neckline adds just a touch of sparkle. Fergie’s talent for pulling off just about any kind of look makes her one of our favorite fashionistas. We dig her tough-girl concert style and love to see her heat up red carpet in sexy, refined gowns like this chic Calvin Klein. Never afraid to take a risk, she’s jumped on the light-wash denim trend and taken it for a tie-dye spin. It’s not our favorite Fergalicious moment, but we do like how she pairs the bold jeans with a tailored, classic button-down and pulls it all together with a bright belt to keep the rocker-chic look from crashing into Woodstock territory.
