Editor Favorite: This Bouclé Winter Coat (Inspired by a Moto)

Nov/03/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

When editors at PEOPLE first saw the coat featured in the video below, there were a few things that jumped out at us. 1) It’s like a moto jacket that got winterized (which we love since we’re pretty crazy about moto jackets and mourn the day it gets so cold, we have to store them away for winter). 2) The jacket is bouclé, something that feels really luxe — maybe because it reminds us of jackets with a label that starts with Cha and ends with nel. 3) But despite that high-end feel, it costs under $120. And if you’ve never shopped with our partner site Joyus.com before, you can use the coupon code STYLE15 to get the price down to 100 bucks. 4) The topper is flattering. We tested it out on a bunch of staffers with very different body types and all of them reported that they felt really good in it.

We could keep going with all the reasons we’re fans of this moto-jacket-meets-cozy-coat, but we’ll just let you watch it in action and see for yourself…

You guys may not know this, but when PEOPLE Style editors teamed up with Joyus (our partner in these shoppable videos), we decided that every product we bring to you has to fit a handful of really important requirements. And at the top of that list is affordability, high quality and that it flatters all body types (in the case of apparel). Every piece of clothing, every accessory and every beauty product also has to be something editors would actually wear/carry/use/give as a gift. This jacket definitely fits all the requirements.

In fact, a number of editors on the team already own the jacket, but there are still more who have it on their fall shopping lists … so you better move fast before the topper sells out in your size.

Click on the product image in the tray below the video or click here to order it. And don’t forget to enter STYLE15 to get a 15% discount on the price (if you’re a first-time Joyus.com shopper). But before you check out, take a look at the other products currently in editors’ baskets: heels that are really, really comfortable (no, really), a pretty pendant that shows off your state pride, the most genius water bottle (it keeps drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours, plus it doesn’t produce condensation) and more.

Happy shopping and as always, let us know what you think!

The Boots Everyone in Hollywood Is Wearing -- for Way, Way Less

Oct/20/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

We’re not kidding when we say every celeb has a pair of black over-the-knee leather riding boots with a stretchy panel down the back. Emma Stone, Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, Miranda Kerr, Leighton Meester — the list goes on. The difference between the boots they own and the boots we found for you in the video below is this: Theirs weigh in at over $600 and these cost a fraction of that.

We are all about these riding boots, so it’s a good thing they go with practically everything in our closets. We’ve been wearing ours with dresses and mini skirts sans tights, but now that the temperatures are dropping, we’re adding black opaques to the looks or pairing the boots with jeans or black skinnies.

Sure, we know the boots are something of an investment, but it’s one that’s well worth making. And not just because you’ll wear them to death this year; this is a classic style that’ll never go out of fashion thanks to the simple silhouette and versatility — so you’ll be wearing the pair for years to come.

And you can get 15% off the price listed in the video by entering STYLE15 after adding it to your cart (the code works for first-time Joyus shoppers). And be sure to check out more fashion finds and beauty products PEOPLE editors love here.

Finally! Chic Heels That Are Also Really, Really Comfortable

Sep/15/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

We went on a hunt to find heels that are chic and work for the office or nights out, but aren’t insanely uncomfortable. As you can probably imagine, it wasn’t easy. But after trying dozens (and dozens … and dozens) of styles, we finally found a pair that fits all our needs. These stacked heels are comfy enough to wear all day, and cool enough to wear with everything in your closet. And because we love them so much and want you try them, we’re hooking you up with an exclusive 15% discount (see below for the code).

We first gravitated toward these pumps because of the luxe texture, snakeskinlike on the black and a stingray finish on the silver. They’ve got a 3 3/4-inch heel (but stacked so you won’t be wobbling around on them) and a cut that’s flattering and leg-lengthening. The pumps also feature a slightly rounded pointy-toe, which makes them easier to walk in and less toe-pinching than a typical pointy heel. We’ll be wearing ours with skirts, dresses and jeans all fall … and winter … and into spring.

Before you check out, enter STYLE15 to get 15% above the price listed in the video above (it’ll work if you’re a first-time Joyus.com shopper). And be sure to check out more fashion finds we love here.

What Will We Be Wearing All Fall? This ($40!) Two-in-One Fashion Find

Sep/01/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

Here’s the truth: When we saw this sweater on the hanger, we thought, Cute, but nothing special. Then we tried it on — because our mothers taught us you shouldn’t judge a piece of clothing before you’re wearing it — and we’re glad we listened to our moms because it’s pretty freaking awesome. It can be worn two ways, it looks good on every body type and it might be the coziest thing we own. Oh yeah, and it costs just about 40 bucks with our exclusive discount code.

We love this sweater vest over a long-sleeve solid or striped tee, and also over a black dress with tights and boots. But you can pretty much throw it over anything fitted. And it goes really well with a pumpkin spice latte as an accessory. What we’re saying is that it’s kind of the ultimate fall fashion item.

Click here to shop it, and before you check out, be sure to enter STYLE15 to bring the price down to $42.50 (if you’re a first-time Joyus shopper).

And while you’re at it, check out more stuff we love here.

Introducing: The Waist-Slimming Skirt You'll Wear Every Season

Jul/28/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

There are certain pieces of clothing hanging in our closets that we know we’ll be wearing for years: black blazers, wrap dresses, blue skinny jeans, trench coats and this midi skirt, which is under 80 bucks with our exclusive discount code.

We’re putting the faux leather skirt into the category of “Will Probably Still Be Wearing This in a Decade” because it’s got a really timeless silhouette. It makes the waistline appear trimmer, makes your hips and butt look just the right kind of curvy and looks good on everything from the slimmest to the curviest legs (no wonder it’s a timeless silhouette).

There are plenty of real leather skirts out there, but we’re particularly fond of this faux version because the material is much more breathable, which means we’ve already starting wearing ours — with tanks and sandals — even though it’s the middle of summer. And obviously, we like the price on this midi, significantly lower than a real leather piece. (And even lower if you’re a first-time Joyus shopper since you get an extra 15% off by entering STYLE15 at checkout.)

Order it now and by this winter, the cost-per-wear will be practically nothing.

From Date Night to Brunch, Exactly What to Wear This Weekend

Mar/07/2014 at 05:31 PM ET

You probably have Spring fever and temps should start to rise a bit this weekend in most parts of the country, which hopefully means no fleece-lined boots or puffer coats.
