See the Street Style Stars Who Nabbed a Spot in Our December Issue (and Find Out What They're Wearing!)

Nov/21/2014 at 03:03 PM ET

PEOPLE StyleWatch readers are known for two things: staying on top of the latest trends, which are found throughout our issues every month, and putting together super-chic (and affordable!) outfits. That’s why we’ve decided to feature these readers (and their amazing looks!) each month in a segment we like to call, “You Got It Right.” And because we’ve received so many requests for their outfit credits (from where to buy the pieces to price info.), we’ve decided to share all the stylish scoop right here. Don’t forget to submit your own style photos on Twitter, using the hashtag #yougotitright for your chance to be featured.

Bella Thorne on Getting Crazy With Her Hair: 'Sometimes, You Just Need to Be a Little Uncomfortable'

Nov/21/2014 at 09:00 AM ET

At 17, Bella Thorne may be a relative red carpet newbie, but she’s already achieved pro status in the “enviable hair” category. We caught up with the actress, new author and Candie’s spokeswoman to get the scoop on how she does it (as it turns out: Lots of cuts to keep it healthy and turning down any attempts to tease it). But, she tells PEOPLE, there are styles that even the queen of bold hair is hesitant about.

The Most Comfortable Ballet Flats You'll Ever Wear -- in Exclusive Colors

Nov/17/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

Style editors here at PEOPLE and staffers at Joyus (our partner in the shoppable videos you see on our site each week) are pretty crazy about Yosi Samra ballet flats. Our infatuation with the brand is two-part: They’re really, really comfortable and supportive — almost unheard of in a ballet flat — and they’re also very chic, which is probably why a ton of celebs wear them. Well, we took our love of Yosi Samra to the next level: We teamed up with them to design our very own flats in exclusive color ways. There’s a black with a silver toe and heel, and a nude with a rose-gold toe and heel — and you can’t get these anywhere but right here.

The video above is the only place you can shop the flats and right here on PEOPLE.com is the only place you can shop the flats with an exclusive discount (if you’re a first-time Joyus shopper). Just enter STYLE15 at checkout to bring the price down to $68.

And hey, we know that’s not exactly supercheap for a pair of flats, but there’s a reason budget-conscious women are fans of Yosi Samras: They’re comfy enough to wear all day, every day — no blisters, no chafing, no sore balls of the foot or heels. Totally worth the splurge in our book.

Liv Tyler, Padma Lakshmi and Portia de Rossi Donate Their Gorgeous Coats For Charity (And You Can Buy Them!)

Nov/14/2014 at 05:48 PM ET

The holidays are still a few weeks away, but celebs are already getting into the giving spirit (and we should too!) by giving away super-luxe outerwear to charity.

Activewear brand Lolë has a campaign called Lolë Yellow Label that collects gently used coats and sells them at very reasonable prices ($10-$50). All of the money is then donated to AmpleHarvest.org, an organization that collects excess produce from gardens and excess food from pantries to feed the hungry. Donations are being collected until December 1st (check their site for more info), but if you live in the N.Y.C. area, head to their pop-up shop at Brooklyn Flea on November 22nd and 23rd and you can participate in a silent auction (starting at $50) and score a super-chic jacket that was donated (and autographed) by a star. Here are our faves:

We Tried a Ton of Jumpsuits and This Is Officially the Most Flattering One

Nov/13/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

We’ve been hunting for the perfect black jumpsuit for a long time. Like, a really long time. The length of time might have something to do with the fact that our standards are really high. The jumpsuit has to be perfect: crazy-flattering (on a variety of body types, not just tall thin ones), sexy, wearable with a bra we already own (no shopping for some wacky, uncomfortable bra or stick-on situation), comfortable and dance-friendly, not more than $100 and machine washable. Yes, machine washable. We told you: We’re demanding. Well, it took a while, but we finally found one. Behold, the perfect jumpsuit:

So, let’s recap: It’s flattering. We had a bunch of staffers try this on and they all loved how they looked in the design. The material is stretchy, but by no means skin-tight — it skims your curves in just the right way.

It’s sexy. Check out that neckline.

And yet: It doesn’t require some insane bra.

It’s comfortable (see: earlier note on stretchy material) and dance-friendly (take it from this editor, who broke out some of her best moves in the jumpsuit).

It costs 100 bucks — less if you use our exclusive discount code, STYLE15, which gets you 15% off, bringing the price down to $85.

And yes, it’s true: This jumpsuit is machine washable. Can we get a hallelujah?

Shop it by clicking on the product in the video or by going here.

The Cotton Button-Down That Does Something Other Button-Downs Don't

Nov/05/2014 at 08:00 AM ET

If you don’t have a crisp classic button-down hanging in your closet, we’re about to make the case for why you need one. And if you do have a crisp classic button-down hanging in your closet, we’re about the make the case for why you need this particular shirt — because our bet is that this one is way better than any other version you’ve tried.

Editors here were hesitant when we saw the price tag, but we’d heard from multiple people that it’s a game-changing shirt so we put aside our doubts and put on the button-down. And now we know why people are willing to throw down that much cash on a piece of clothing (and why Oprah Winfrey named it a fashion must-have): It uses something called dual-button technology, which means that there is the regular row of buttons down the shirt, but there are also two hidden buttons placed exactly where shirts tend to gap (the worst).

And because of the unique cut, it won’t come untucked from your pants or skirt (also the worst). Plus, the shirt is made of cotton (the two blue ones and the purple are 97% cotton and the white version is over 70% cotton) so you know it’s comfortable and in the case of the former, machine washable!

Watch this video to see how it works:

One of the editors on the team, Zoë Ruderman, has already added the top to her wardrobe and is planning to pack it for her upcoming trip to Miami, where, along with Style Director Andrea Lavinthal, she’ll be attending Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show.

PEOPLE has teamed up with the brand on the really exciting full-day fashion event, which kicks off Friday, Nov. 7, at 8pm and features 1,440 different looks — and Andrea and Zoë will be providing live commentary for a bunch of those. (This crisp blue button-down with a white denim mini will be just the thing to wear for a hot night out in Miami.)

Shop the shirt by clicking on the product in the video above or going here. And don’t forget to catch Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show this Friday! You can watch live on People.com and follow us on Twitter for updates on the show and the celebs in attendance.
