Kim and Kris Wear Mother/Daughter Matching Outfits ... What, Like That's Weird?

Feb/25/2014 at 09:00 AM ET

Kim and Kris matching pantsuits AKM-GSI

Quick: What comes to mind when you think about mother-daughter bonding? A mani date? Seeing a movie and splitting a box of Junior Mints? Catching up over coffee? All of those things are far too pedestrian for mom/daughter power pair Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, who stay in sync by coordinating their wardrobes like pros.

RELATED PHOTOS: What are your other fave stars wearing these days?

The dynamic duo stepped out in N.Y.C. Monday wearing mirror-image cream-colored pants ensembles with assorted bows, slits and other frippery. From the high-waisted pants to the luxe matching wool coats, the ladylike pumps to the identically bronzed skin, the two appeared to have gone shopping at the same stores and then gotten dressed with each other’s assistance. We imagine them swapping bow-bedecked tops: “No, this one looks better with your pants, Mom. You take it.”

Our moms have great style, but we might draw the line at going out in public dressed alike. Then again, it was awesome when we did it with our American Girl dolls, so maybe we just don’t know what we’re missing. Tell us what you think below!

The Olympics are about sports, yes, but they’re also about style. Just look at the above photo of the Norwegian curling team and tell us what you’re focused on: the actual curling or those insanely eye-catching pants. Want further proof? Scroll down for Johnny Weir’s fur and bling look, a funny behind-the-scenes beauty shot, a skier in a tiara and more photographic (and video) evidence that the Sochi games are quite the hotbed of fashionable activity.

What Can You Get for $70? Oh, Just This Chic, Cozy Winter Jacket

Jan/13/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

No, that’s not a typo. The jacket in the video below (which comes in cream, black and gray) really does cost 70 bucks with our exclusive discount code (enter STYLE15 at checkout). Check it out and scroll down to read all the reasons we love it.

So, here’s why this Olivaceous topper earned a spot in our closets:

1. It’s actually really warm. We’re used to wallet-friendly jackets being — how do we put this? — totally crappy and inefficient when it comes to protecting us from the elements. We’ve been wearing this one during this particularly bad N.Y.C. winter and we’ve got no complaints.

2. Stains somehow don’t show up on this jacket. Not even on the cream-colored one. Thank the textured bouclé material for that.

3. Two words: universally flattering.

4. You can wear it unzipped and with the collar folded down over a dress at work if you’re chilly and it doesn’t look like you’re all bundled up. But rather, the jacket almost passes for a chunky blazer.

5. Oh, did we mention? The jacket costs 70 bucks. Get one here before it sells out.
