After debuting his line to mixed reviews during Paris Fashion Week, Kanye West has stayed relatively mum on the topic of fashion — until now.

Following the creation of the possibly fake Twitter handle @dwbykanye, billed as the official page of his line and which has since been suspended, West took to his own verified account to “clarify a few things.”

“I really appreciate the fake DW twitter page but since it’s not official I can’t co sign any information on it,” he told fans Wednesday. The star then detailed his fashion résumé before announcing a new venture, DONDA, named after his late mother.

“DONDA will be comprised of over 22 divisions with a goal to make products and experiences that people want and can afford,” he explained of the enterprise, whose goal is to “pick up where Steve Jobs left off.”

While on contract with Louis Vuitton, for whom he designed five pairs of sneakers in 2009, West said he embarked on his covert fashion education. And following an “undercover” stint as a consultant at Fendi, the rapper claimed to have spent two years shadowing the shoemakers at the Giuseppe Zanotti factory in Rome.

“Being a celebrity has afforded me many opportunities,” he mused, “but has also boxed me in creatively.”

Lady Gaga may be known for her unpredictable style, but the singing star claims that for the time being, she’s a one-label lady. While in Germany for the finale of Germany’s Next Top Model, the Fame Monster told BANG Showbiz, “I’m wearing only Versace for like the next two months,” adding, “I’m having a love affair with Donatella [Versace].” Sporting her seafoam green wig du jour, she continued, “Right now what I’m wearing is an archive Gianni Versace. This was never seen before. It is a dress that was made before he died.” Continuing her style streak two days later, the singer arrived to perform at EuroPride Rome in a very ’90s vintage Versace blouse and pants combo (right). Two days later, while appearing on the French TV show Taratatà, she opted for mixed prints, also by the designer (left). Then Sunday, Gaga turned up at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto (below) wearing four different Versace looks — and even clothed her dancers in the brand’s T-shirts, as well. The pièce de résistance, however, is the barely-there leather corset and shorts ensemble she wears in her smokin’ new “Edge of Glory” music video. “I am greatly honored that Lady Gaga chose to wear a Versace Vintage look,” Donatella Versace said in a statement. “I believe that my brother Gianni would have appreciated her talent. When Britney Spears hits the tour circuit in Sacramento, Calif., come Thursday, she’ll be dancing “Till the World Ends” in her signature sexy style. We got a sneak peek of the singer’s sultry “Femme Fatale” tour costumes, courtesy of designer Zaldy Goco, and the looks are smoldering. “The true muse for me … is Britney herself,” Goco tells PEOPLE. “She has such a clear idea of how she wants to present herself and what she wants to deliver to her fans.” The show’s concept, though, comes from tour director Jamie King, who wanted to present femme fatales throughout the years. “The idea to create iconic personas or disguises for Britney was really inspirational,” Goco says. Spears will take the stage in a shimmering silver outfit — “the simple colorless crystal is so pure on stage, the brilliance is like nothing else,” Goco shares — and during her performances, change into looks like a mirrored gold jacket, snake charmer outfit, kimono featuring a “Japanime Britney” and more. There’s also some “spikey stud couture,” as Goco says; a purple leather jacket covered with thousands of pink chrome studs, safety pins, spikes and chains. “It’s something you haven’t seen before,” he explains. “We found the one place in America that could make that dream come true.” But the true showstopper? Her daring black Swarovski crystal-covered closing number outfit, which illuminates with LED lights and animates fire and lightening. After wowing a crowd in Vegas last weekend and dropping her brand new album, Femme Fatale, Tuesday, it’s clear that pop princess Britney Spears is back on top. And it seems she’s bringing her fashion sense along for the ride. Though she’s not known for stepping out in high-fashion looks, Spears is upping her style ante, donning several sexy ensembles from Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana in promotional images for her album. “We love Britney and we love to dance to her new songs! We can’t wait to hear the whole album,” the design duo told U.K.’s Telegraph. “She has always been among our favourite artists because she has been able to remain true to herself and to her style throughout the years. With her music she influenced and inspired generations of people for more than 10 years, always staying at the top, and we can’t but congratulate her for this new, important achievement.” In the photos, Spears sports three sensual looks, including a polka-dot bodysuit, golden gown and black corset top. High notes meet high fashion! Dolce & Gabbana has created the stage wardrobe for Brit pop superstar Kylie Minogue on her “Les Folies Tour,” which kicked off Feb. 19 in Denmark before starting on a world tour. While her last set of tour costumes was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, this is actually the third time the haute Italian design duo has teamed up with Minogue to create tour costumes; for this show, they used a corset as the base to reinterpret some of their most classic looks for the star. “We’ve revisited iconic Dolce & Gabbana pieces, adapting them to the themes of the tour,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in a statement. “Working with Kylie has always been very spontaneous and easy. We are given free reign to create because she trusts that we know exactly what she likes. Kylie has always been our piccola principessa!” A sneak peek at one costume (left) appears to be inspired by the title of her last album, Aphrodite. Much like her fiery and always fashionable onscreen Desperate Housewives character, Gabrielle Solis, Eva Longoria Parker is also promising to stir things up, at least stylistically speaking, as the host of the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards on Nov. 7. “Music awards are always pushing the limits of fashion, so anything goes,” she tells MTV in a promotional interview. “There is kind of a double license to wear what you want. Normal rules don’t apply. So, I’m going to try and see if I can pull off some ‘way out’ outfits.” And while Eva is looking forward to testing the fashion waters at the upcoming event in Madrid, she also fesses up to some outrageous ensembles from the not-so-distant past. “I wore a skimpy pink swimsuit at the MTV VMAs in Miami in 2005. That was pretty daring but I think I carried it off,” she says. And her ultimate fashion cringe-worthy moment? “I wore a leather outfit to the premiere of Tomb Raider. Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers are getting ready to go back to camp–in style, of course! In preparation for Disney’s upcoming original movie, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam–premiering September 3–the film’s costume designer, Mona May, gave PEOPLE the inside scoop on Demi and the boys’ onscreen looks. “The Jonas Brothers have a certain look and they like to keep that look while blending it with the character and more casual outdoorsy feel for the setting of Camp Rock,” said Mona, who found fashion inspiration in iconic bands like the Rolling Stones and The Mamas & The Papas, to create the stars’ cool artsy look. Country singer Kellie Pickler was so bowled over by fiance Kyle Jacobs’ beachside proposal on June 23 that she nearly lost her engagement ring — just moments after receiving it. “We weren’t paying attention to the ring at all,” admitted Pickler to PEOPLE. “After I got myself together, Kyle was looking around for the ring and thought I lost it. It was in my lap but he said, ‘I thought we lost it in the sand.’ But then he picked it up and put it on my finger and we cried again and laughed again. Miley Cyrus debuted her sexier side last month in the steamy music video for “Can’t Be Tamed” and now, with the release of her album Monday, she is officially making the move from teen queen to rock star. So what’s the inspiration for the new look? “Miley’s style is a natural progression of her growing up and being influenced by the music that inspires her,” the singer’s stylist, Simone Harouche, tells PEOPLE, citing rock legends Joan Jett and Blondie. “The album cover was basically a strong statement saying in the most simple way, that she can’t be tamed–literally and metaphorically,” explains Harouche. To achieve Miley’s rebellious new look, Harouche turned to designer denim brand, Robins Jeans. “[Miley] is really into leather,” says Harouche. “Robins Jeans leather jacket is such a cool staple piece: It’s embellished without being overly done and the fit is amazing.
