Exclusive First Look: Christy Turlington Talks Getting Back Into Calvin Klein Underwear to ‘Harper’s Bazaar’

Christy Turlington is one of the names that comes immediately to mind when you hear the word “supermodel,” but the star’s modeling gigs are few and far between these days — and that’s just how she likes it.

“Now I feel like it’s a treat again,” Turlington says in her June Harper’s Bazaar cover story, “because I do it so seldom. I can appreciate it in a new way.”

She also dishes on her teenage years at the height of her modeling career (no insecurity there, if you can believe it) and how much fun she had partying with names like François Nars and Steven Meisel. But now that’s she’s settled down (with actor Ed Burns and their two children), she looks back on that time fondly.

The model also laughs at Kate Moss’s very unique senses of humor (Moss teased her publicly for wearing a twinset recently) and cringes at the thought of getting back into underwear for her new campaign for Calvin Klein.

What Is Sexy? The Victoria’s Secret Angels Share Their 2013 Picks

Quick: Which star has the sexiest bikini body? The sexiest smile? How about the sexiest sense of humor?

Victoria’s Secret (and their team of Angels) answered all those questions and more in the exclusive first-look video above — and we’re inclined to trust their judgment. After all, these women get paid quite a bit to essentially have a Ph.D. in sexiness. (Spoiler alert: the answers to the above questions are Rihanna, Zoë Saldana and Jennifer Lawrence, respectively.)

Also on the list are several repeat winners: Amanda Seyfried, last year’s “Sexiest Lips,” took home “Sexiest Hair” this year. Jessica Chastain was upgraded from “Sexiest Smile” to “Sexiest Actress.” And Beyoncé made her third consecutive appearance on the list, this year winning the title of “Sexiest Songstress.”

Kate Upton Lands a Vogue Cover and Clarifies: ‘They’re Natural!’

It wasn’t so long ago that Kate Upton was rumored to have to buy her own ticket to the Met Gala, which is presided over by Vogue‘s Anna Wintour.

Just goes to show how much can change in a year — not only was Upton a guest at this year’s ball (though puzzlingly, she seemed to have missed the memo on the theme), but she landed one of the most coveted modeling gigs around: a Vogue cover.

In the June issue, on stands May 21, the blonde bombshell talks about her body and much more.

As a matter of fact, despite Vogue‘s own commentary on her curvy body last year, Upton shrugs off anyone who doesn’t appreciate her figure.

“The things that they’re rejecting are things that I can’t change. I can’t change my bra size,” she says in the interview. “They’re natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things.”

And plenty of people have no interest in changing her — in fact, Upton is the highest-ranking model on Maxim‘s just-announced Hot 100, and she’s landed two Sports Illustrated swimsuit covers in a row. And now that she’s got the Vogue seal of approval, we have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in the future.

Ireland Baldwin Takes On Her Haters; Preaches Acceptance

Since making her modeling debut in early April, Ireland Baldwin has experienced the excitement of her career taking off — as well as plenty of judgmental comments.

So the teenage daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger took to her Tumblr to address her “haters” and to ask for a cease fire.

“What I don’t fully understand is: What is the good in commenting on a photo of a 17-year-old girl and calling her fat, ugly, etc.?” she asks in the post. “Is that helping you in some way? … Personally, I try to see the beauty in everyone. … I even see the beauty in the people who send me hateful replies!”

She also continues on to say that to compare her to her mom (or to hold her accountable for her dad’s previous behavior) is unfair.

Whoops! See Chrissy Teigen’s Wardrobe Malfunction Before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner

For as much as those designer gowns cost, you’d think they’d reinforce the zippers on those things.

Chrissy Teigen found out the hard way that zipper strength isn’t always a top priority just moments before last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner.

The swimsuit model (and fiancée of John Legend) tweeted a sexy shot on Instagram of her black beaded dress peeling apart with the caption “Late for #whcd. Broke zipper. Any tailors in DC wanna sew me in?”

Apparently she had no takers, because she then Tweeted “Ay yi yi. Backup dress,” followed shortly by “Yes this also happened last year buttheads.” Next year, she may want to keep a tailor on retainer!

But luckily, supermodels don’t have to scramble for safety pins or sit the evening out like the rest of us — Teigen’s backup gown was just as stunning as her first choice, and best of all (in her words): “This one zipped.”
