For most women, the idea of having a professional stylist is a dream come true; for Jessica Alba, it’s just a part of the gig.

“Trying on clothes — it’s just not super fun for me,” she admitted to PEOPLE recently during a fitting with stylist Brad Goreski. “I can’t think of anything I would rather not be doing. I’d rather get spa treatments. Get my nails done and go to lunch with my girlfriends.”

So when it comes to finding that perfect red-carpet look, Alba employs shortcuts. “I know what will work even before I try something on,” she said. Goreski concurred: “She doesn’t change her mind … Once you set something with her she knows it and it stays that way.”

Before welcoming daughter Haven on Saturday, instead of trying to mask her changing shape, Alba chose to emphasize it. “They don’t usually make clothes for women with giant beer guts,” she laughed. “I kind of have to embrace the bump right now … there’s no hiding it.”

And as it turns out, being pregnant and looking cute are not mutually exclusive. “We’ve done a lot of different shapes and colors and we’ve tried to keep Jessica’s style still really cool and very young,” said Goreski. “Almost every color looks good with her.” And when all else fails, “a lot of belting” does the trick.

Many women rethink their fashion choices while pregnant, but not Jessica Alba. Since announcing her second pregnancy in February, Alba’s belly has “popped,” but she remains a fashionista thanks to the assistance of her stylist, Brad Goreski. “We’re still trying to keep it very fashion,” Goreski told PEOPLE at the Rimowa Rodeo Drive Store opening in Beverly Hills Monday. “There aren’t really that many restrictions because she’s such a beautiful woman.” The former Rachel Zoe protégé said he and Alba, already mom to Honor, 2, have recently found success in keeping her look “fresh and young” thanks to designers like Lanvin, Versace and Ralph Lauren. “[We] show people that even though you’re pregnant you can still look really cute,” he shared. One brand that Alba has recently turned to for maternity wear, though, is Pea in a Pod. “We switch to Pea in a Pod at, like, month two or three,” Goreski told reporters. “You need the [belly bands].” So what’s it like dressing someone Goreski describes as the “coolest mom?” “She’s just so much fun to be around,” he shared. “We had a fitting today and just laughed all through it. Mariah Carey is likely to have some aching feet as her pregnancy progresses, and her husband isn’t going to let her suffer –- even if it means he has to be her personal shopper. Nick Cannon described a mini battle the pair had the day before, admitting to being flabbergasted by his wife’s shoe collection. “I come home yesterday to help my wife get ready for her video shoots and she has these 19-inch heels on,” he grumbled good-naturedly on a phone call with his wife, who called into his 92.3 WXRM-FM radio show “Rollin with Nick Cannon” on Friday. Carey defended herself, explaining the heels were only for a job. But, Cannon continued, “So I go into the closet searching for some flats for my wife … She got a lot of damn shoes — it’s like a frickin’ Macy’s. [And] Mariah Carey does not own one pair of flat shoes.” Carey corrects him, “To be fair, I had some boots from Aspen, some Dior boots.” “Ski boots!” Cannon argues. Carey says, “And then we did find some flats and then they were a regular ballet slipper, like a beige, and I was like, ‘I don’t think so.’” Cannon says he finally got her to wear flats -– in the form of ski boots. “Basically, I got Mariah Carey, the high-heel queen, to put on some flats. And this is amazing. My style is leggings with some sort of muumuu and a belt, like up here, [above my stomach].” And, Frankel is following in the footsteps of some of Hollywood’s most fashionable stars, flaunting her growing bump in body-con dresses — a choice that, she says, is mostly unintentional. “I’m digging through my closet to find anything that stretches. I hate to buy anything new, so none of it is maternity yet,” the star, who is due in June, told reporters Thursday night at the premiere of Discovery Channel’s Life. A growing belly didn’t stop mom-to-be Claudia Schiffer from taking home the Model of the Year honor at the Elle Style Awards in London—nor did it prevent her from looking exceptionally chic. Heidi Klum just a supermodel? Hardly. With four kids, two new maternity lines, and Project Runway hosting duties, it’s more like Superwoman Heidi Klum, says her Runway co-star Tim Gunn. “I don’t know how she does it. She really is Superwoman,” Gunn told PEOPLE at Wednesday’s Red Dress Awards in Manhattan. “I don’t have even one quarter of what she has on her plate, and I always feel like I’m a hair shy of a psychotic breakdown.” Did Klum, who gave birth to daughter Lou Sulola in October, “make it work” with her foray into maternity fashion? “Oh, Heidi always makes it work,” Gunn gushed. “But yes, she’s really infused fashion into maternity ware, and I’m crazy about what she’s doing. I think it’s wonderful.” Gunn, who is now filming the final episodes of Project Runway Season 7 at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, recently teamed up with Campbell Soup Company to help raise awareness about heart disease, the number-one killer of women. At Woman’s Day magazine’s Red Dress Awards, Gunn honored the winner of Campbell’s adDress Your Heart campaign. It’s an issue that’s close to his heart: Gunn’s own mother has heart disease. “She’s had a wonderful life and she’s been fighting this disease for a long time, and frankly, she’s getting tired,” he told PEOPLE. “She’s in the hospital now, so this is an issue that is part of my life and it means a great deal to me.”

Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano is back with a new maternity collection, and it’s his fiercest yet. Siriano’s Spring 2010 Fierce Mamas line, his third for the Moody Mamas brand, features playful party frocks, feminine details, eye-catching patterns, and ultra-wearable jersey Ts and dresses. “It’s about making it really, really wearable, accessible and still really comfortable,” says the designer, who also has his own namesake ready-to-wear label and a shoe line for Payless. Nicole Richie celebrated the debut of her maternity line, “Nicole” for A Pea in the Pod, by bumping baby bellies with other pregnant moms in Beverly Hills Thursday night at A Pea in the Pod. “It is completely unreal to have a vision and have it come to life five months later,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m so blessed, I’m so lucky.” Joined by Judy Reyes, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Nicole Sullivan, Jamie Bergman and Gena Lee Nolin, Richie, who is pregnant with her second child with Joel Madden, modeled an outfit from her line — with a twist. “This is a tank from my line but I got it in a bigger size so I can wear it as a dress,” she said of her black tank. “I try to wear whatever is comfortable and whatever fits!” Richie added that she’s been having fun rotating the items from her line into her wardrobe. “I’ve been making an effort to change my clothes a lot and rotate through the pieces,” she says. Her favorite? “I really love the paisley dress, I’m a huge fan of prints and I love the color scheme.” Though she’s in her third trimester, Richie says she has no plans to slow down her fashion enterprises any time soon. “I have my second collection of House of Harlow 1960 [jewelry] coming out in November, and my regular clothing line coming out in Spring 2010 along with my shoe line.” She admits that’s worth the effort, though. “I’ve been working extremely hard,” she says. “It’s amazing.” – Lisa Ingrassia

Nicole Richie is known as known for her boho-chic style as she is for Hollywood pedigree — and with fans like Madonna wearing her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection, her design career couldn’t be hotter. Pregnant with her second child (daughter Harlow Winter is 19 months old), the star has signed on to create (and model) a line of maternity clothes with her signature flair for A Pea in the Pod. Richie talked to PEOPLE exclusively about the new line, explaining that the collaboration works because “Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women. They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited and eager to do it.” And being pregnant herself means that Nicole is especially considerate of her customers. “You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes.” And while Nicole admits she doesn’t always wear maternity clothes, she definitely thinks the pregnant form should be flaunted! “I think the pregnant body is beautiful, and I think you should show it off,” citing her jean cutoffs as a go-to this pregnancy. As for what to expect in the line, think peasant tops, layering tees, flowing maxidress and braided details. Nicole may have a few months left until she has her second child, but she says of her newest design collection making its debut, “It feels great to see everything come to life. It’s the best feeling in the world to have your visions and dreams coming together. I’m so excited for people to see them. She may have strutted her baby bump down a Brazilian runway just a little over a month ago, but when it comes to her latest ad campaign, Gisele Bundchen’s bump is no where in sight. The supermodel, who is expecting her first baby with husband Tom Brady, shows off her famous body in just a barely-belted, classic London Fog trench coat for the brand’s fall ad campaign. But don’t expect to see a dramatic reveal of the supermodel’s swelling tummy. “Although Gisele was photographed while pregnant, most of the shots have been retouched to respect her privacy during this wonderful and personal time in her life,” Dari Marder Chief Marketing Officer, London Fog revealed in a press release. “Nobody is sexier or more beautiful than Gisele Bundchen in nothing but a London Fog trench coat, even with her visible baby bump,” adds Marder. Make that barely-visible. Gisele’s London Fog ads will debut in October fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazines as well as on billboards and online. Nicole Richie is no stranger to looking stylish while pregnant! Not only did she look fabulous while expecting daughter Harlow, but she is still rocking her signature boho chic look while pregnant with baby number two on the way. And while Nicole has hinted in the past at expanding her design ventures from just her House of Harlow 1960 collection to clothing and specifically maternity, she took to her blog today to announce that she is designing maternity clothing for A Pea in the Pod and to show some behind the scenes shots from her shoot with star photographer James White. A Pea in the Pod tells PEOPLE that “A Pea in the Pod is excited about their partnership with Nicole Richie and the collection will be available in stores in early August.” We can’t wait to see what Nicole has designed!

Football fan Elisabeth Hasselbeck isn’t letting pregnancy get in the way of her love of the game. Reebok has announced today that they’ve drafted The View host to be the face of a new line of NFL football jerseys — designed specifically for pregnant women. “The NFL has a tremendous amount of female fans,” Elisabeth tells WWD. “Watching a game can be a real family bonding experience, and I can tell you that the women behind the games are truly the most intense of the fans.” The $15 to $17.50 shirts will launch during the fall 2010 football and feature sayings like “#1 Draft pick” and “Kicker” across the belly. As for why Reebok decided to launch the line, Reebok’s NFL women’s product manager explains to WWD, “we realized how women were buying the product, but then we were ignoring them for nine months while they were pregnant,” of the sports fans who often had to purchase men’s shirt to accommodate their growing bumps. Heidi Klum recently told PEOPLE that the secret to her sexy pregnancy style was skipping the maternity clothes, but with baby number 4 on the way, Heidi is turning to Project Runway winner and maternity designer Christian Siriano for a little help looking chic. PEOPLE caught up with Christian at the Modern Bride Trendsetters Awards and got the scoop from him on Heidi’s new maternity look. “She’s all about black,” Christian says. “We made her some pieces from my Fierce Mama Maternity line and she wanted everything in black.” But since it’s Heidi, black is definitely not a boring option — even if it is a little more conservative than the bright colors she usually favors. “I think she’s trying to cover it a little this time,” Christian adds. “She’s getting older and wants to be more sophisticated, not casual. She’s trying to keep it a little quiet.” And though her belly might be getting bigger, Heidi is continuing to take great care of herself physically, according to her trainer David Kirsch, who tells PEOPLE, “Why should she do anything differently? Heidi Klum might be pregnant with her fourth child, but the supermodel shows no sign of giving up her sexy style. The supermodel, who was the host of the LG Rumorous Night in Hollywood to celebrate her new backplate designs for the phone, didn’t let her new baby bump get in the way of looking fabulous. Clad in a flowing one-shoulder dress and sky-high Giuseppe Zanotti heels, Heidi tells PEOPLE that she skips the maternity stores all together. “I love to be creative and find cute things in between,” she says. “It’s about finding good shapes. Cool tops. Right now for example, I love the skinny pants and blousier tops, and then when I get bigger, I like to bring the form back to the body. Then I like to show it off.” Heidi credits Balenciaga’s black jeans as her go-to pair during pregnancy. “They are super stretchy, and they are not very high, so you can kind of fit them under the belly. The bump on top can still grow.” Though Heidi has her super-star stylist to help her find the right looks for Project Runway and other red carpet appearances, Heidi sticks to a harder look for everyday wear. “I love the lumberjacks and the ripped jeans.
