What's Hot Now
It might only be Wednesday, but Ivanka’s Instagram post featured a very #TBT-worthy fashion statement: a glittering, fringe-y Bob Mackie number borrowed from her mom Ivana’s closet. Here’s Ivanka wearing the dress this week, and a snap of her mom wearing it in 1991:

As soon as we heard the news that Destiny’s Child will be releasing an album on Jan. 29, our first thoughts were, puh-lease let them go on tour and puh-lease let them do it in those amazing coordinating outfits they used to wear. You know, the ones that look like this:
However, Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland have come a long way since the matchy-matchy, Tina Knowles-designed, over-the-top ensembles they rocked back at the Source Hip-Hop Music Awards in 2000 (left) and at the MTV Icon: Janet Jackson event in 2001 (right).
The ’90s were a time of many a pop-culture obsession, among them, John Stamos’s awesome Full House hair. Fluffy, dark, voluminous, somewhat mullet-y — now that was a look to aspire to.
We’ve caught a glimpse of it here and there during late-night reruns on Nickelodeon, but just before the Full House cast’s fun-filled (and, uh, boozy) reunion a few weeks ago, we were excited to stumble upon this vintage photo, shared on Stamos’s WhoSay page.
Perhaps, like us, you’ve tried to block out most of the fashion and beauty from the year 2000. There were some bad moments during that time period, but when we came across this photo of Gwen Stefani from February of that year, we just couldn’t keep it to ourselves.
You probably remember that the singer, now known for her signature platinum locks, had pink hair for a while. But we had completely forgotten that she rocked cornrows at the same time. We dug back in our archives looking for old photos of Stefani to celebrate this week’s release of No Doubt’s new CD, Push and Shove.
It wasn’t just the hair she had that left our jaws on the floor, though. It was also the hair Stefani didn’t have. We’re referring to those barely-there eyebrows. She complemented the look with knee-high magenta boots, a leopard-print midi and extra-large gold hoops.
Quite a different Stefani than we’re used to seeing nowadays. But if this flashback proves anything, it’s that the singer has always been fashion-forward and unafraid to take risks. Thankfully, her risks no longer involve a bottle of neon Manic Panic. Tell us: Would you like to see Stefani return to her pink roots? Or should she try another color in lieu of her blonde strands?
The Gossip Girl star — who turned 25 this week — made the change in April of 2011, debuting the look at the TIME 100 Gala in New York. The new hue was for her role in Hick, and the actress explained that it allowed her to get into character. “It helps when you’re playing a role, when I don’t feel like myself. And I don’t really feel like myself with red hair,” she told PEOPLE.
Lively complemented her hair that night with a glimmering sea-green Zuhair Murad dress, which furthered the Little Mermaid comparisons. In fact, even the starlet herself saw the similarities; as she said, “I feel like Ariel.”
The look was short-lived, though; by June she was back to blonde, or as she called it, “sierra sunset.” But with many more movie roles to come, we’re sure we’ll see some different dye jobs from the actress in the years ahead.

It seems like only yesterday (OK, it was actually 2008) that Ashley Greene and the Twilight gang were premiering their first vampy film in Hollywood — before hook-ups, breakups and scandals rocked the cast. How times change.
Greene, who at the time had just a few minor credits on her résumé, hit the red carpet that November night in a spaghetti-strap black dress with an embellished waistline and ruffled skirt, plus strappy, sassy sandals.
Now that Greene’s a true leading lady, with a new movie, The Apparition, out today (check out her stunning ensemble from Thursday night’s premiere!), it’s funny to think that four years ago, we had no idea what a fashionista she’d become.
