Lady Gaga has been flaunting her love for all things Muppet for a few months, from her Animal skirt to her date with Kermit the Frog at the VMAs. And now Katy Perry has gotten in on the act, turning up today at Jean Charles Castelbejac’s fashion show in a festive frock printed with all our favorite fuzzy friends. We love that pop music has room for two whimsical fashionistas, but we can’t help but compare their dresses. Tell us: Who wears her Muppet dress better?

First her man, and now her style! Looks like Lady Gaga has a lot in common with Miss Piggy these days. When the outrageous pop star showed up to the VMAs arm-and-arm with Kermit the Frog, we knew Miss Piggy wouldn’t be happy. But to add insult to injury, Lady Gaga turned up at the Marc Jacobs show wearing the exact same dotted dress Marc Jacobs had customized for the Muppet! And while Lady Gaga might hang out with Madonna and be the talk of New York Fashion Week, you just can’t mess with a feisty pig. We’re sure Miss Piggy isn’t going to stay quiet for long, but until then… Tell us: Who rocks Marc Jacobs better: Miss Piggy or Lady Gaga?

After seeing double at the VMAs, Shakira took to the airwaves on 102.7 KIIS FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest and talked about her real life fashion faceoff with Pink, in crystal-studded leather Balmain minidresses. “The funniest thing is that my stylist told me, ‘You’re going to wear a one-of-a-kind dress, nobody else in the world has it!’ And I was like, well, you know, I like the dress I don’t really care if anybody else has it or not — but how was I going to imagine that Pink had the same dress! Luckily I was on the red carpet first, so technically…” she jokes of her wore-it-first status. And Shakira discovered that her style competition took a similarly light-hearted attitude to the incident. “I approached Pink and I was like, ‘Pink, look at us, look at us!’ And she’s like, ‘oh my god, this is the funniest thing, get out of here!’” Click below to hear Shakira talk about the night. One dress, one night, two divas — it was a real-time fashion faceoff last night as Whitney Houston and Madonna both hit the scene in Europe in their snow leopard-print Dolce & Gabbana dresses. Madonna hit the after-party for her Milan concert at the Gold restaurant, owned by longtime pals Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana, along with her “good friend” Jesus Luz in her printed sheath. Meanwhile, in London, Whitney attended a playback party for her new album I Look to You in the same curve-hugging dress. Ever since she played Daisy Duke in Dukes of Hazzard, Jessica Simpson has made the character’s iconic cutoff shorts one of her own style signatures — pairing them with everything from floaty floral blouses to sexy bustiers for her stage costumes. But looks like her little sister Ashlee has the same idea, taking her adorable baby son Bronx out in her own faded cutoff shorts.
