Katy Perry and Her New Haircut Hit the Runway at Milan Fashion Week

Feb/20/2014 at 06:51 PM ET

Katy Perry is having the buzziest week ever. From her new banged bob to all that engagement ring talk to her performance at the Brit Awards and the release of her new “Dark Horse” video, the star keeps making headlines. And Thursday she continued on “The Katy Perry Self-Promotional Tour” (we’re not knocking … just cheering from the sidelines!) by hitting the Moschino runway at Milan Fashion Week.

From the photo at left, you can tell the singer practiced her sassy catwalk skills, confidently strutting her stuff in head-to-toe garb from the label: a black topper with gold chain trim, coordinating leather mini dress (with more gold bling!), sheer tights and some serious heels. She also continues to sport a handkerchief headband to frame her new short do.

Thursday’s show was designer Jeremy Scott’s debut collection for Moschino, and he enlisted not only Perry, but also Rita Ora to kick things off on the catwalk before they took their front row seats.

As for the rest of the runway? We can totally see Perry and Ora rocking the McDonald’s inspired designs or maybe even some SpongeBob couture. Tell us: What do you think of Perry’s runway cameo?

Victoria Beckham‘s New York Fashion Week show is always one of our favorites. (And not only because her gorgeous family is always sitting front row. Although Harper Beckham is the most fashion-forward two-year-old on the planet, and any spotting of David Beckham with his brood gives us major baby fever. But we digress.) The designer debuted her fall 2014 collection Sunday, and it was a fresh mix of the classic VB we’re used to seeing as well as some out-of-the-box styles. Read More

What Can You Get for $70? Oh, Just This Chic, Cozy Winter Jacket

Jan/13/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

No, that’s not a typo. The jacket in the video below (which comes in cream, black and gray) really does cost 70 bucks with our exclusive discount code (enter STYLE15 at checkout). Check it out and scroll down to read all the reasons we love it.

So, here’s why this Olivaceous topper earned a spot in our closets:

1. It’s actually really warm. We’re used to wallet-friendly jackets being — how do we put this? — totally crappy and inefficient when it comes to protecting us from the elements. We’ve been wearing this one during this particularly bad N.Y.C. winter and we’ve got no complaints.

2. Stains somehow don’t show up on this jacket. Not even on the cream-colored one. Thank the textured bouclé material for that.

3. Two words: universally flattering.

4. You can wear it unzipped and with the collar folded down over a dress at work if you’re chilly and it doesn’t look like you’re all bundled up. But rather, the jacket almost passes for a chunky blazer.

5. Oh, did we mention? The jacket costs 70 bucks. Get one here before it sells out.
