We’ve drooled over his dreamy runway shows and gorgeous couture gowns — and now we can afford a little piece of Zac Posen for ourselves. This week, the young designer launched a new line, Z Spoke Zac Posen for Lord & Taylor, at — you guessed it — select Lord & Taylor stores nationwide.

“I believe that trendy clothing should be accessible,” Posen tells PEOPLE. “And I want to directly acknowledge that fashion loves bodies. I love women who have bodies and curves, so I really want to embrace that. My ideal are the women on the street.”

Those “Z Spoke women,” as the designer calls them, are “trend-driven, flirtatious, socially savvy through media and life on the street,” he explains. “I try to create a collection that can have a youthful quality to it, but has an age- and shape-diverse ability, too.”

Miley Cyrus: I’ll Wear a Two-Piece Dress Anytime

Her gluten-free diet is keeping her trim — and because of that, Miley Cyrus is happy to show off her svelte figure.

“I’ll wear a two-piece any time I can,” she tells InStyle.com of peekaboo dresses, like the Emilio Pucci look she wore to The Hunger Games premiere in L.A. Of that sexy ensemble, chosen with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in mind, Cyrus says, “It was the night I wanted to look the way that I would think he would like.” And? “He really liked it.”

Cyrus, who’s been wearing some more grown-up gowns in recent months, says she also selected the dress to flatter her frame. “The band on top [of the skirt] was big and gave a good waist, but it showed curves still,” she explains. “It was perfect.” Tell us: Would you ever wear a two-piece dress?

She’s in living color! Jennifer Lopez is all about bright dresses lately, stepping out in three vibrant ensembles — all by Michael Kors — in a few days’ time.

In late March, Lopez hit the American Idol set in a hot-pink slit-to-there number from the designer’s resort 2012 collection (left), pairing the dress with hoop earrings and black T-strap sandals. Days later, she visited a talk show in São Paulo, Brazil, wearing a similarly electric long-sleeved yellow dress (middle), pink pumps and a bit of bling.

All the Details on Michelle Obama’s State of the Union Dress

Michelle Obama State of the Union Dress: Barbara Tfank

Whether rocking a $35 frock or a myriad of designer duds, Michelle Obama‘s wardrobe choices always turn heads.

Last night’s State of the Union ensemble was no exception. As the President declared his intent to help buoy the 99 percent (“Asking a billionaire to pay at least as much as his secretary in taxes? Most Americans would call that common sense,” he declared), his wife dazzled in a cobalt sheath from Barbara Tfank’s resort collection.

While reps for the brand won’t reveal the item’s retail price, a similar style from the collection is currently available at Barneys New York for $2,400.

This isn’t the first time the First Lady has worn the Los Angeles-based designer’s sophisticated wares. Last year, she met with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wearing a seafoam brocade design topped with a bubblegum pink stole.

“Everything in my closet is something that I love,” Obama has said. “So that I can make choices based on what makes sense, knowing that I’m going to love whatever it is.”

Seeing Double: Carey Mulligan Tries the Same Dress Twice

Recycling is chic, but is recycling a red carpet dress a fashion faux pas? Carey Mulligan may be pondering that question today after she wore Roland Mouret’s “Carstone” berry red jersey dress twice in a span of two weeks.

The Shame star first stepped out in the girly frock on Jan. 6 during a party in Los Angeles, pairing the look with black peep-toe pumps. Then Thursday, Mulligan surfaced in London, this time wearing her Mouret with blue suede heels at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards.

We love the dress — and Mulligan! — and the U.K.’s Telegraph even speculates there’s a method to her manner of dress: Colin Firth’s wife, Livia, is launching her Green Carpet Challenge, asking actresses to wear eco-friendly or pre-worn gowns during awards season. According to the paper, Firth persuaded an A-list star to rule the red carpet in recycled looks, so perhaps Mulligan is her girl? Regardless, we want to know what you think of the double take. Tell us: Is it cool for an actress to re-wear a gown?
