Between winning the Best Actor Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club, stealing Wolf of Wall Street with less than six minutes of screen time and starring in the critically-acclaimed HBO show, True Detective, Matthew McConaughey is having the best year ever. So when we received an email asking us if we wanted to interview him about being the face of Dolce & Gabbana “The One” fragrance, we responded (say it with us now) “Alright, alright, alright!”

The actor (at the extreme height of what we’re calling McConaugheCool) was a pure delight on the phone — and we learned so many candid tidbits during our phone chat that we had to list them out for you. (P.S.: The photo at left was taken during our conversation. Okay, fine, there’s no proof of that, but it was the same day — so just go with it.)

Miley Cyrus, 21, has been asserting her independence through various means for some time now. She’s cut her hair, lost her pants, ended things with her fiancé and taken off on a wild world tour. And, she says in the May issue of Elle magazine, all this rebelling is starting to pay off.

In an interview with 17-year-old Rookie magazine editor (and fellow widely watched teen) Tavi Gevinson, Cyrus explains that she’s grateful for growing pains in leaving Disney and ending things with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, because it helped her get to where she is today.

Even if you’re not planning your own trip down the aisle, you probably have a folder on your desktop labeled “wedding dresses” or a board on Pinterest dedicated to gowns because, let’s face it — they’re so much fun to stare at. That’s why we love bridal fashion week: It’s a whole lot of pretty in a short period of time. But since high-end designer bridal gowns are a pipe dream for most of us, we especially love Zac Posen for providing high style at a lower price.

The designer launched his debut line Truly by Zac Posen at David’s Bridal in February, and he maintains that all the designs in the collection are representative of his high-fashion brand. Read More

Found: The Perfect White Skinnies and the Perfect White Boyfriend Jeans

Apr/07/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

Celebs like Jessica Alba, Naomi Watts and Kim Kardashian love the brand behind the denim in the below video and we’re guessing it’s because their jeans are flattering, smooth everything out, retain their shape (no saggy knees and butt!) and look good on just about every body type. Style editors love these two styles of white jeans for all of those reasons and one more: They’re really affordable. Check them out in action and be sure to use our exclusive discounts — listed below — to get the price down even more and to nab free shipping.

In the past, trying on white jeans has been known to send this particular editor into a downward spiral in the dressing room. But slipping into these two pairs, the boyfriend and the skinny, was a refreshingly positive try-on experience. They’re smoothing and sort of suck everything in, which is just what you want out of a pair of light denim. And they’re not see-through so you don’t have to worry about wearing them with a long top or putting a lot of thought into the color of your underwear.

If you’re a first-time Joyus shopper, be sure to enter PEOPLE10 for an extra 10% off (and you’ll get free shipping, too).

Happy shopping (and happy spring aka the start of white jeans season)!

Kelly Rowland's Beauty Mantra: 'I Never Walk Out of the House Without a Mole'

Mar/31/2014 at 09:00 AM ET

Kelly Rowland has spent countless hours in a makeup chair throughout her career, but the singer’s favorite tip is one she taught herself — drawing beauty marks on her face.

“I like moles. I think they’re the cutest thing. It’s all Marilyn Monroe’s fault,” she told PEOPLE. “I remember one day seeing the black Duo glue that I put my lashes on with [and trying it on my face]. I let it dry and it was raised and everything. It was the cutest stinking mole, and I was sold. I never walk out of the house without a mole. It can be anywhere on my face — it’s the forever moving mole. Now it’s over here [she points]; I have a blemish, it’s helping me out.”

We caught up with the singer at an event celebrating her role as Caress‘s new celebrity “Fabulista,” hoping to inspire woman to take time for themselves with the line’s Fresh body washes. “Sometimes we get so caught up with what we do every day … It becomes kind of robotic in a way,” she shares. “We have to always continue to just refresh ourselves. I grew in a hair salon where I’ve seen women do that. They come in the hair salon and they tell my aunt, ‘I need something new!’ and she gives them a short cut or highlights. We always need that, I think it invigorates us.”

Two Rings You've Gotta Have in Your Jewelry Box

Mar/31/2014 at 06:00 AM ET

There’s one kind of ring every woman should own at this point: the midi. It looks stunning on its own or stacked with rings you already wear everyday. And then there’s another kind of ring, one that every woman who loves cats, should own. Watch the video to see both — and shop each (discovered at one of our favorite Brooklyn jewelry stores) with an exclusive discount.

Now, before you click the “Buy” button, we’d suggest doing two things: Enter STYLE15 for an extra 15% off. And take a moment to think about all the cat lovers in your life and how excited they’d be to get this gift from you. Shouldn’t you really add a ring to your basket for each of them?

Since the cat ring is very affordable, you can do just that. (And by the way, there’s nothing cheap feeling about the design. It’s made like jewelry that would cost much more and looks like it too, thanks to the delicate style, metal and the Catbird Brooklyn box that they come in.)

And hey, let’s not forget the also very affordable midi rings. While they don’t have adorable cat ears, there’s something about them that’s such a perfection combination of classic and on-trend. We guarantee you’ll never regret wearing a midi (not like how we’re sure to feel about those overalls we just bought) and you’ll get tons of compliments.

OK, now that you’ve ordered the rings, we give you permission to go back to your other internet cat videos…
