Carrie Ann Inaba’s ‘DWTS’ Blog: My Dress Was So Hot, It Made Me Wish I’d Lined Up a Date!

Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba joins us again to blog about her style (and all the backstage scoop) on the show’s 16th season. This week, she talks about the sexy dress that made her wish she had a date night planned — and sending her jewels flying into the audience.

What an incredible night in the ballroom. The number Derek choreographed based on the late Fred Astaire’s incredible genius was so impressive. It’s exciting to see such innovative choreography, even though the idea was borrowed. It’s a reinvention and that is what happens with art.

What was impressive is that it didn’t feel like a second rate version of a classic. Instead, it felt like a wonderful unique piece of art that will stand the test of time. I haven’t been that impressed since his Paso Doble the night before!

That was just a little reminder to my judging friend Len Goodman … who I still say robbed them of a perfect 30. But I still love him and respect him. We are all there for different reasons, and a little argument here and there never hurt anyone.

Exclusive Details on Zooey Deschanel’s Met Gala Dress

If the definition of punk is standing up against the establishment and being counter-culture, then perhaps the seersucker Tommy Hilfiger gown Zooey Deschanel wore to Monday night’s Met Ball did in fact fit the theme of the evening.

We chatted with Hilfiger about the unexpected choice and he says, “The dress was an original, quirky and fun take on the punk theme.” He tells PEOPLE the creation is a “special design for Zooey,” who — by the way — we hardly recognized when she first hit the red carpet. (Blame it on the fact that her until-now omnipresent blunt bangs were swept to the side.)

“She wanted to be really involved,” Hilfiger adds of the process behind creating the summery blue-and-white gown. “It was a lot of fun to collaborate with her on the design. We were inspired by the seersucker looks from our Spring 2013 collection.”

We never thought we’d see seersucker at an event focused around the words chaos and punk, but Hilfiger swears, “[It's] a perfect match for Zooey’s sense of style.”

And we will give Deschanel one thing: That hot-pink safety pin Edie Parker clutch is certainly a nod, albeit a cutesy one, to the night’s theme.

What do you think of the Tommy Hilfiger gown Zooey Deschanel wore?

Carrie Ann Inaba’s ‘DWTS’ Blog: I Can’t Believe I Said ‘Fart’ On Live TV

Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba joins us again to blog about her style (and all the backstage scoop) on the show’s 16th season. This week, she talks the front-runner finalists — and shares some good show advice.

I can’t believe we are already past the halfway point of Season 16! The season is flying by and I guess that’s because it’s so much fun!

Last night I wore an Aiden Mattox asymmetric one-sleeve plum colored dress. I have to say, this was the most comfortable dress I’ve worn in a while. It felt like I was out there in a silk blanket — very comfy and cozy.

Maybe I was a little too comfortable because I said the word “fart” in my first comments to Jacoby. I do apologize if I offended anyone! (I’m sure I’ll get a call from my mom later today.) Ahhhh … but this is one of the true hazards of live TV. Sometimes you open your mouth and, surprise! “Fart” wasn’t quite the word I was intending to speak, but with the pressure of being live looming over me, sometimes, I rush to find the best word to suit what I’m trying to say.

Tabatha’s Takeover: Matthew McConaughey Must Be Clowning Around

Apr/26/2013 at 03:53 PM ET

Matthew McConaughey plaid suitAP

We all know Tabatha Coffey, Bravo’s sharp-tongued Aussie style pro, from her newest show, Tabatha Takes Over, which is in its fifth season! And now, she’s bringing her talents online, joining us at PEOPLE StyleWatch each week to dish on some of the bestand worst – celebrity looks of the week. Keep in mind the opinions below belong solely to the stylist … though she’s probably saying what lots of you are thinking, anyway!

Today, she takes on Matthew McConaughey, who ditched his cowboy boots for a plaid suit at N.Y.C.’s Mud premiere.

FINALLY! Finally I get to critique a man for PEOPLE StyleWatch and it is someone I absolutely love: Mr. Matthew McConaughey. Too bad he isn’t wearing something fabulous.

What is this clown suit he’s wearing? And what’s up with this ridiculous backdrop? Is he promoting something at the circus?

I’m actually surprised he is wearing a suit of this nature. I would say 99 percent of the time I see him on the red carpet or caught on camera (with a shirt on, anyway) he is well dressed and on trend. Why in the world did Camilla Alves let him leave the hotel looking like this? Such a shame.

If I passed him on the street before he walked into the MoMA to promote his new film Mud, I would have pulled him into a nearby men’s store, ripped off that suit and dressed him in a 3-piece navy blue suit. I’d keep the white shirt the way it is, and even consider letting the gold chain stay to keep the jacket closed.

Before sending him back out, I’d rake my fingers through his hair to break up the stiffness of all that product and let his naturally curly hair fall the way it should.

Tell us: Do you agree with Tabatha, or is she being too harsh? Let us know in the comments below!

Kylie Bisutti’s ‘I’m No Angel’ Allegations: Victoria’s Secret Responds Exclusively

When Kylie Bisutti won Victoria’s Secret’s first-ever national model search in 2009, she called it “a dream come true” and admitted to “always practicing my runway walk.”

But she’s been laying low for the last few years — until Wednesday, when she gave an interview to the New York Post alleging that she felt like “a piece of meat” working for the lingerie giant, and saying that she was required to “play down my marriage … because I was supposed to be flirting with everyone all the time.”

She also says that she quit the glamorous life of being a Victoria’s Secret “Angel” to honor God, and has written a book about her decision, called I’m No Angel.

Until now, Victoria’s Secret hasn’t commented on Bisutti’s allegations, but in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, they say that Bisutti is overstating her association with the brand and, in fact, was never an official Angel. Check out the company’s full statement below, then tell us: What do you think of the latest Angel drama?
