By now, you’ve seen the hottest dresses to hit the Emmys red carpet and you’ve been texting your friends your picks for Obsessed or Hot Mess (heavy on the Hot Mess). We’re doing the same things here, so we decided to share our around-the-office chatter. And guess what? A mini, crop top and cape all made our list.
What's Hot Now
What happens when the sexiest women in the world (as hired by Victoria’s Secret) come up with a list of the sexiest women in Hollywood? A list that’s sexy to the nth power. Several Angels (including newlywed Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge) filmed their big reveal of the list while shooting in some exotic location, and we’re sharing it with you exclusively. See who nabbed “Sexiest Lips,” “Sexiest Street Style,” “Sexiest #shorthairdontcare” (seriously!) and more, then read on for thoughts from Aldridge.
Zooey Deschanel may project a sweet-as-pie image in her A-line dresses and retro-glam bangs, but in her interview in the August issue of InStyle, she proves that she’s a little spicy, too. Case in point? She’s not afraid to call out other stars for fashion snobbery.

Zooey Deschanel On Her 'Modical' Tommy Hilfiger Collection: We Distilled My Style Down and Mixed It With Tommy's

Zooey Deschanel’s line for Tommy Hilfiger is here, and it’s just what we expected: girlie, classic and totally appropriate for her on-screen alter ego Jess Day. And — no surprise for the stylish New Girl star — adding fashion designer to her résumé has always been a dream.
“When I was in high school I made my own clothes and I grew up creating a lot of my own looks,” Deschanel shares. “I would think up patterns myself. Having the opportunity to work on this collection was incredibly fun.”
The line, aptly named “To Tommy from Zooey,” features 16 dresses (priced between $98 and $199 — get a preview below) as well as accessories. “We looked at all of the designs that I’ve been wearing over the past several years and analyzed them. Then we distilled everything down and mixed it with the Tommy DNA to transform it into our own collection of dresses. It’s a mix of mod and nautical, which I like to call ‘modical,'” she says. “There are a lot of great little hidden details, like pleats with unexpected patterns on the inside. There are structured and short pieces and very clean lines. Each piece is very mod and also very American-inspired.” Read More

Zooey Deschanel (and her TV alter ego Jess Day) have such enviable style that there’s even a whole Tumblr dedicated to finding the adorable A-line dresses and bow-topped sweaters that have become her (their?) signature pieces. And now Deschanel is bringing her distinctive style sensibility to a store near you, thanks to her upcoming collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger.

One just got her AARP card, one’s had it for nearly half her life and one’s TV alter ego sometimes dresses like she might be up for her card soon. But these three very different women share one thing in common (besides Jan. 17 birthdays): They all have their own unique sense of style, which we’re celebrating today.
