Victoria Beckham’s eponymous fashion label silenced her critics when it launched last year and has since attracted a celebrity fan base to include Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively and Elle Macpherson. But the singer-turned-designer admits there is one particular actress she would love to dress – Harry Potter star, Emma Watson. In the latest issue of British Harper’s Bazaar, Beckham describes the 19-year-old Watson as “so sweet, so true to herself,” adding: “There are so many young girls wearing too much make-up, too much hairspray – I find that very dated.” The ex-Spice Girl, who rarely uses a stylist, says she’s also a fan of Kate Bosworth, Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie’s style. “I think Angelina’s beautiful,” she said. But for now, she’s happy with her own little fashion victory – her own personal dress worn by Madonna in a raunchy W magazine shoot, which happened to be the moment Madge met Jesus Luz. “We must be the same size, because it fitted the same,” said Beckham who couldn’t have been happier to hand the garment over. “My dress has never seen so much action. Less than a week after announcing that soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo would replace David Beckham as the face of Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear, the Italian design house has just announced Victoria Beckham’s hot replacement for the women’s campaign: Megan Fox! Starting in January, the actress will show off her enviable curves in a worldwide print and billboard campaign for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, WWD reports. And while husband and wife team of David and Victoria did star in some ads together, Megan and Cristiano sadly won’t be teaming up in front of the lens. Check back for more details on the campaign. Victoria might have been the first Beckham to turn designer, but at an event this week, her husband proved he could hold his own with the launch of his debut men’s line. Giving David center stage, Victoria supported her husband as he unveiled the David Beckham by J. Bond Collection for Adidas’s Originals by Originals line in L.A. Despite his wife’s impressive design experience, the soccer star tells PEOPLE that Victoria wasn’t involved in his design process. His three little boys, however, did weigh in: “They are always so honest,” says David. “We stuck things in front of them to see how they’d react.” Their favorites? “They reacted really well to the sneakers.” As for his own top picks from the collection, the soccer star is equally enthusiastic about each of the designs. “It’s my style. I wanted to create something that everybody could wear whether it be going to practice, or the gym in the morning, or going for a coffee or going out to dinner at night,” David tells us. And although we were hoping that David would strip down for his own ads, like he did for Armani, the new designer confirms that he will remain behind the cameras for now. In a fitting tribute to London Fashion Week’s 25th anniversary, Christopher Bailey brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the capital with his latest collection for Burberry Prorsum. On the star-studded front row, Gwyneth Paltrow took her spot next to Burberry campaign model, Emma Watson but not before rushing over to greet the famous editor-turned-movie star, Anna Wintour. “That’s so weird because I literally just saw your movie last night — I loved it!,” gushed Paltrow. Victoria Beckham, Liv Tyler, Mary-Kate Olsen, Frieda Pinto and the brand’s face Emma Watson were also seated front row at the show, where the theme was ‘traditional Burberry with a twist’ (think trench coats encrusted with silver rocks and ruched mini-dresses in pale pastel hues). “I thought it was brilliant,” Posh told PEOPLE backstage adding, “I loved the colors a lot and the accessories were great.” Frieda Pinto couldn’t have agreed more, herself in a pale yellow dress straight off the runway, she gushed to PEOPLE, “There were so many colours out there I would wear, it was hard to choose!” As Christopher Bailey was greeted by his famous friends, he told PEOPLE how honored he was to have their support. “We had people flying over just for tonight, it was unbelievable and really emotional actually.” At the after party, Liv headed for the stage to see The Kooks perform live, saying “Everything was just beautiful, and so I’m happy to be back in London. New York City’s much anticipated Fashion’s Night Out lived up to the hype, especially for the screaming fans and shoppers who made their way up to famed department store Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue to catch a glimpse of Victoria Beckham, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Lines to get into the luxury store stretched around the block and inside was just as packed. Victoria, clad in thigh-high Gucci boots and a neon mini dress, arrived around 7:30 PM to pose for pictures and sign Fashion’s Night Out T-shirts, telling PEOPLE on her way out, “It was great. It was really great.” Meanwhile, Mary-Kate and Ashley took a break from designing successful lines Elizabeth and James and The Row to work as bartenders on the 7th floor. Marli Milask, a lucky shopper who got an Olsen-mixed martini, tells PEOPLE, “It’s not that strong, but it’s good. We waited an hour to get inside and just see them for ten minutes, but it was worth it. They were very nice, just pouring drinks and handing them out.” And though the scene at Bergdorf’s was mayhem, one of the bartenders who worked beside the Olsens tells PEOPLE that the famous designers weren’t phased. “It was very relaxed. We were making a vodka and pomegranate drink. We mixed a couple of hundred drinks together. They’re very hard workers. Though Victoria Beckham has become a Hollywood staple since moving from England several years ago, there are some things about Tinsletown that still baffle the Brit. “I find it odd that people will go to a nice restaurant or to [the] theater in jeans and T-shirts,” the Elle cover girl dishes to the magazine. “You know, it’s great, David loves it. But it’s very different to my personal style.” And while L.A.’s laid back look work for her hunky husband, Victoria is not about to become a surfer girl. “I haven’t changed the way that I dress at all, which is probably why people stare a lot.” Victoria might not have morphed into a typical Hollywood celebrity, but that, she says, is what keeps people interested. “There are celebrities who always look great, always look pretty, but it’s always the same hair, the same makeup, and I find that quite boring. I want to change it up, do something really creative. I think that might be why women like me.” Turns out, women really do like Victoria’s style as stores can barely keep up with the demand for her designs, despite the high prices. “Would I think twice about buying a dress that costs $2,000? Yeah! Of course I would. I’d try it on and go home and think about it before I bought it,” defends Posh. She might not be ready to change into jeans, but Victoria is definitely embracing something else very American– prime time television! While David was away for six months playing soccer in Milan, Victoria indulged in some of our favorite shows. “I’ve done Nip/Tuck, Brothers & Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice. Forget the runway show! To promote her Autumn/Winter 2009 dress collection, Victoria Beckham got her models swinging into the season — literally! Eight models, all dressed in her slim-silhouetted sheaths accessorized with red-soled Christian Louboutin heels, perch on wooden swings hung from doorways on a quiet London street as the camera pans back and forth. Victoria makes a cameo towards the end of the video where she swings in and out of frame with her signature dark sunglasses, gray cashmere “Carmontelle” dress and Louboutin heels. Photographed by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign was shot in Milan, where Armani is headquartered. You can expect to see the sexy ads not only in fashion magazines, but also on major billboards in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo starting this month. Victoria Beckham might appear in almost nothing in her steamy Emporio Armani ads, but she was back to her fashionista self at the unveiling yesterday at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City. Sticking to Emporio Armani, Posh struck a pose with her 20-foot sexy banner ads in a black fitted tuxedo jacket with black jet beaded shoulders and black Swarovski crystal beaded leggings. Fans from all over crowded the main floor of the famous department store to catch a glimpse of Victoria in the flesh. Although this is the second time she got down to her skivvies for Armani, the fashion star wouldn’t take a peek at her giant ad. “It probably would have freaked me out a bit,” she tells WWD. “I don’t often do photo shoots like this. It’s great that when I am 60 years old with however many children, I am lucky enough to have by then, I can say, ‘Well, I looked good.’” And she sure does! After dressing up for Marc Jacobs at the Met Costume Institute Gala, Victoria Beckham bares (almost all) for her second season of modeling in sexy Emporio Armani women’s underwear ads. The ads, which the star unveiled in person today at Macy’s in New York City, picture the star in a lacy bra and panty set complete with a long ponytail replacing her usual pixie cut. And this is hardly the last we’ve seen the of the star in her skivvies — Victoria will be showing off her sexy side for Armani until 2012. Until now, style icon Victoria has been the Beckham family’s resident designer — but it looks like Posh is in for a little competition! Her footballer husband David is branching out from underwear modeling to launch his own fall-winter men’s line for Adidas Originals by Originals, WWD reports. Partnering with Undefeated sneaker boutique owner James Bond, David’s new line will feature updated American sportswear as well as reinterpretations of Adidas’s iconic styles. But if you’re hoping that David will give the line a little face-time by modeling his wares, you’re in for some serious disappointment. Although he does have an endorsement deal with Adidas, WWD reports, Becks won’t be the face of the new brand. Tell us: What do you think of David’s design aspirations? Victoria Beckham may have started her eponymous dress collection with 12 styles in September 2008, but she’s returned this Fashion Week with a expanded collection of gowns, jackets and embellished minis that has debuted to rave reviews. Style.com says, “These dresses look so well-made, so of-the-moment yet also timeless…that they do the talking for [Beckham]”. The International Herald Tribune found the designer as a stand-out among her celeb-designer peers: “Beckham has succeeded in creating a collection in her own image with playful gestures and with a sense that, unlike most celebrity lines, she would be proud and pleased to wear every piece herself.” And WWD seems to think Victoria might be evolving into a fashion heavy hitter. “Though too early to tell — a mere two collections into her second career — judging from the controlled lineup she showed on Sunday, it seems that [Beckham] may indeed be no lightweight. (Figuratively, that is. Formerly Posh is still a slip of a girl.)” PEOPLE caught up with the designer at Armani/5th Avenue store opening last night and she was still reeling from her her great reviews. “It’s been wonderful,” she gushed. “The reviews have been absolutely outstanding. The retail response has been wonderful. The sales grew, so far, over the previous collection. It has been phenomenal. The whole thing is mind-blowing to be honest. Fifth Avenue just got a little bit more Posh. Giorgio Armani — with the help of some very famous friends– opened his new store on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue last night. Victoria Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Ricky Martin, Chace Crawford, Solange Knowles, Zoe Saldana, Molly Sims, January Jones and more braved the cold to take in Armani’s new four-level, 40,000 square-foot concept store offering every Armani brand. “It’s amazing,” Beckham gushed. “I just got here, but it looks really great.” But don’t expect to see Posh at too many more Fashion Week events. “I have to leave here tomorrow and go home.” She explains, “It’s [Cruz's] birthday. He said, ‘It’s my birthday after Fashion Week’. I’m training him well.” DiCaprio slipped in towards the end of the cocktail party, but right on time for the private dinner Armani hosted for a handful of friends at the new Armani/Ristorante, the first of its kind in the United States. The night, however, was not just about fashion — the charity designer announced his donation of $1 million to the Fund for Public Schools to benefit N.Y.C. school children, which Caroline Kennedy was on hand to accept. First David Beckham famously stripped down to his briefs for Giorgio Armani, and now his wife Victoria has done the same. After announcing several months ago that she would be the latest model for the Emporio Armani underwear line, the ads have finally come out. And the results are simply stunning — moody black-and-white portraits shot by Mert & Marcus that show the lithe mother of three lounging around an unmade bed in her barest essentials. Rumor has it that Posh is under contract with Armani through 2012, so get ready to see a lot of Posh in magazines and on billboards near you for the next few years. Victoria Beckham is bringing her designs home to the UK. On the eve of her 10 dress collection hitting Selfridges in both London and Manchester, the designer herself sits down with the London Times and gives them a look at her “fourth child”. Victoria tells the London Times that fashion was always her first love — even before singing. “I was never that good a singer but I think I am good at fashion. Even when I was at school, I was always customizing my uniform.” And her fame as Posh didn’t help her fashion career. “Being in the Spice Girls, fashion-wise probably didn’t open any doors. If anything it shut doors and I’ve had to bang them down.” Now the pop star has left the stage for the drawing board and takes a hands-on approach to all her dVb lines. “Do I draw? No. Then again, nor do lots of designers,” admits Victoria. “But I know how a dress should sit. I’ve worn so many in the past and when I see the photographs I think, crikey, my boobs are up round my neck again because the corsets are too short and not cut high enough.” Victoria used all her fashion mishaps to help make her line better. “I knew I would spend a lot on the best-quality zips because, I’ve had my share of crappy zips,” she says. “I wanted a zip that undoes from both ends because then you can either put the dress on over your head or, if you don’t want to mess up your hair, you can step into it – and also, you know, going to the loo wouldn’t be this whole big palaver.” With her exacting attention to detail, luxurious fabrics and classic silhouettes, she isn’t worried about the recession hurting business despites the dresses’ four-figure price tags. “In these recessionary times, and at these prices, women are looking for something that will be an investment, aren’t they?” Click here to see all of the styles from Beckham’s new line.

Victoria Beckham has always been willing to play with her hairstyle — from long to short to blonde to bob, we’ve seen it all. Or so we thought! Posh turned up at Marc Jacobs yesterday with a closely cropped do courtesy of Garren, the stylist who famously took Linda Evangelista short in the ’90s. Garren was so inspired by Posh that he says “it was clear that we had to go short and create a new look that embraced her beauty, great personality and body.” And the result is a short-banged gamine cut that calls to mind Jean Seberg or Audrey Hepburn in the ’50s. And the new do wasn’t the only thing getting people talking — Posh was sporting a $7 million, 19-carat diamond ring on loan from Chopard at the show. Eat your heart out, Beyonce!
