Perhaps her recent 39th birthday had Victoria Beckham feeling nostalgic and longing to revisit some of her old hairdos.
Or perhaps she’d been wearing her hair in the same long, loose waves for so long that she was ready for a change. Or maybe she just got sick of extensions and wanted to remove them.
Whatever the reason, Beckham is sharing pics of her new, shorter locks on Twitter, with the caption “Loving the hair!” accompanying a photo of stylist Tina Outen scrunching her chin-length style.
It appeared that her fresh look had something to do with a photoshoot, and while she didn’t share many details, she did include the following photo, leading us to believe she’s happy with the new do.

Victoria Beckham may be spending her 39th birthday “having a special day with my boys and Harper,” but we’re spending it reminiscing about her style and debating which outfit era was best.
The artist formerly known as Posh Spice has come a long way since her “Wives and Girlfriends” look in 2006 (far left) when it wasn’t so unusual to see her sporting long blonde curls, teeny tiny jean shorts and a pair of shoes we’re pretty sure she has burned since. She then went through a very avant-garde phase, wearing all sorts of wacky get-ups on the red carpet with an asymmetrical blonde crop.
Next she went for society mum, chopping her hair into a pixie and wearing luxe furs and plunging dresses. And most recently, she’s transitioned from her “power businesswoman” attire to a more relaxed, denim-centric wardrobe for her move to London.
There were so many amazing Beckham looks we didn’t even include; though she may be the birthday girl, her wardrobe is the gift that keeps on giving to us. Tell us: Which Beckham style phase was your favorite?

Victoria Beckham once wore a minidress and wedges to grocery shop. She descended into the N.Y.C. subway wearing a second-skin sheath and towering pumps. And for years, her go-to airport outfit has been a flirty skirt or glamorous dress with massive heels.
It seemed that we couldn’t be surprised by anything Beckham wore anymore, but we were wrong. Because since moving to London, her rigid style rules seem to have relaxed somewhat. The star is now frequently spotted out in something she previously would have worn only to go to the drugstore to pick up flu medicine: blue jeans.

Of course, they’re only the most stylish blue jeans, tailored to perfection and paired with gorgeous coats, to-die-for heels and (of course) great sunglasses, but still: They’re blue jeans nonetheless. For the first time in ages, we can consistently copy the star’s street style, which we love — but the day we see her out in a maxidress and flat sandals, we’re hanging up our StyleWatch hats.

When we saw this sweet picture of Beyoncé grabbing lunch with daughter Blue Ivy, 14 months, the first thing we noticed was the baby’s adorable pigtails. The second thing we observed was how cool her mini hiking boots were.
Then we realized: Blue Ivy isn’t the only celebrity baby with an enviable footwear wardrobe. Since Suri Cruise rocked her first pair of pint-sized heels, infants with famous parents have been sporting one cute pair of shoes after another.
