Sofia Vergara Wants More Closet Space

Her Los Angeles abode has two walk-in wardrobes — not to mention a product-packed closet in the bathroom — but Sofia Vergara still wants more space. “I don’t think I have as much as I deserve,” she says in the latest issue of InStyle.

In the story, the Modern Family star admits she’s gone far in life thanks in part to her looks. “I’m not ashamed,” she shares. “It has opened doors.”

Those doors include not only her television and movie roles, but a contract with CoverGirl and a clothing line with Kmart, the latter born of frustration from attempting to find clothes that fit. (She often alters size 4 clothes to fit her size 2 waist.) “Not everyone is Miss Universe, but everyone has something — spectacular hair, nice legs, great boobs — that they can play up,” she shares.

Sofia Vergara: All Women Should Have Beautiful Lingerie

“It’s so hard to find sexy intimates at an affordable price,” Sofia Vergara laments to PEOPLE. “All women should be able to get beautiful, comfortable intimates.” Thankfully, now they can: the actress is adding sexy, lacey bras and panties to her successful Sofia by Sofia Vergara line at Kmart. Problem solved!

The star’s intimates line includes three bras and three panties in a mix of red, purple, pink, black and animal print. “Honestly I love the entire collection,” she shares. “But if I had to pick a favorite … it would be the animal-print bra because I love prints, even underneath my outfits.”

Vergara thinks sexy undergarments “set the tone” for the rest of a woman’s outfit; therefore, they should always be special. “I think every woman should start by putting on a beautiful bra and panty,” she shares. “It doesn’t even have to be lingerie.”

Your mother probably told you to always keep covered, but stars like Sofia Vergara and Rachel McAdams are making sexy, sheer tops look oh-so-right.

Vergara wore a peek-a-boo black top (plus second-skin leather pants and cute red pumps) on a night out in Los Angeles recently, letting her matching black bra show through. Meanwhile, McAdams made her bold bra statement at a movie premiere, allowing her blue brassiere to show through her fitted cerulean tee.

Ellen DeGeneres, Sofia Vergara Get Downright Divalicious in CoverGirl Commercial

Ellen DeGeneres and Sofia Vergara certainly didn’t check their egos at the door when filming their latest CoverGirl commercial — or at least are pretending to play prissy. The ladies are teaming up for the makeup brand’s newest ad campaign, set to air in January, and they’re each bringing their classic comedic timing to the spot.

While warming up for the shoot in the clip above, Vergara tells the cameras that she and DeGeneres are “a perfect match,” while the talk show hostess says she’s “dreading” the taping. As time goes on, Vergara teaches her costar some simple Spanish — but also trades insults with the megastar. Luckily, by the end of the tense shoot the two are exchanging niceties — even a hug!

She was your best dressed at the Emmy Awards, and now, you can dress like Sofia Vergara, too! The Modern Family star launched her Kmart collection this week, a line of luxe-looking items that includes skirts, tops, denim, dresses, jewelry, shoes and more at super-affordable price points.

“For a long time I wanted to have a line like this,” the Colombian stunner told reporters in New York on Thursday. “I was able to team with Kmart, create a line for every woman, every size, every ethnicity. [They can] look cute and comfortable and sexy, even when they’re picking up their kids.”

Vergara said she took cues from the fashion runways of New York and Paris, applying big trends to her pieces. “If animal print is in fashion we’ll give them a little bit of that,” the CoverGirl explained. “I wanted a woman to be able to buy clothes and to look in magazines and say, ‘Oh, this looks a little bit like the dress I own for 20 bucks, though this is a $3,000 dress.’”

Sunday night’s Emmy telecast had us seeing red — but not in a bad way! The night’s biggest stars arrived at the show in a slew of gorgeous gowns, ruling the red carpet in dramatic shades of scarlet.

Glee‘s Lea Michele was among the first to set the trend in a bright Marchesa gown with embellished shoulders. Winner Kate Winslet followed suit, flaunting her famous curves in an Elie Saab dress. Red-hot Modern Family star Sofia Vergara went for a bombshell look with her dress (and makeup), slinking into the show in Vera Wang. Meanwhile, presenter Kerry Washington brought some sparkle to the Emmys in her Zuhair Murad gown, while Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev stunned in her mermaid-style Donna Karan dress.

Other stars who had us on red alert? The Office‘s Angela Kinsey, nominee Mireille Enos and pre-show hostesses Nancy O’Dell and Giuliana Rancic. Naturally, they all looked lovely in their crimson gowns, but we want to know: Which look was your favorite?
