Scarlett Johansson: I Don't Like My Thighs (Says One of Barbara Walters's Most Fascinating People of 2014)

Dec/15/2014 at 01:06 PM ET

Scarlett Johansson has had a major 2014 — she’s had a baby, gotten secretly married, starred in a few hit movies and now been named to Barbara Walters’s Most Fascinating People of 2014. But even the woman Esquire dubbed 2013’s Sexiest Woman Alive still has some body hangups.

Scarlett Johansson Gets a Major Haircut (With Weeks to Go Before Her Due Date!)

Jul/29/2014 at 05:41 PM ET

We imagine there are few experiences more uncomfortable than being eight months pregnant in N.Y.C. in July. Scarlett Johansson may agree with that assessment. After debuting a chin-grazing bob in June, the mom-to-be showed off an even shorter cut Tuesday while out running errands with fiancé Romain Dauriac, and there’s no denying this is an easier, breezier (and more ventilated) look than her formerly long locks.

This Week's Best Dressed: Scarlett Johansson Keeps the Peplum Trend Alive

Everyone loves an LBD — especially the stars who stepped out on this week’s red carpet. And apparently you’re big fans of the look too, because our Most Loved Looks list was filled with black minis, jumpsuits and some very chic menswear, all in the dark shade.

Coming out on top was mom-to-be Scarlett Johansson, who attended a Beijing photo call for Captain America: The Winter Soldier in an Antonio Berardi top-and-skirt set that featured a bump-concealing peplum (evidently this trend isn’t going away as soon as we thought). We’re especially into the rest of her look: those peep-toe pumps, the statement accessories and her gorgeous updo (see it from the back here, then Pin it immediately to your hair inspiration board!).

Also getting lots of love: Shailene Woodley in an Elie Saab jumpsuit at an N.Y.C. Divergent screening, plus Courteney Cox and Anna Kendrick in LBDs (at L.A.’s Evening of Environmental Excellence and Hollywood’s Rebels With a Cause gala).

Our personal favorite look was courtesy of last week’s winner, Emma Watson. We already wrote an entire post about how great she looks in her Saint Laurent suit (worn during a visit to The Late Show With David Letterman in N.Y.C.), but we’re still available to discuss this flawless outfit further if anyone’s interested.

Tell us: Do you think Scarlett deserved this week’s trophy, or were you missing the more colorful red carpet ensembles? Or do you just want to sit around and talk about Emma Watson’s suit all day?
