Reese Witherspoon is definitely fond of Water for Elephants costar Robert Pattinson, but that’s not to say she didn’t find his on-set grooming habits, well, questionable. “It’s a boy thing, right? To have dirty fingernails and hair,” the newlywed actress asked in a chat with Entertainment Weekly. “And his clothes were dirty all the time.” However, she can’t quite blame the Twilight star — after all, the movie takes place in a circus, a far cry from the damp, overcast Pacific Northwest setting of the supernatural series. “It was a nice escape for him to be tan and in the sun all the time instead of the vampire gear,” Witherspoon explained. In the film, out April 22, the stars’ characters, Jacob and Marlena, become entwined in a tragic love triangle. But before they hit theaters, the costars will hit Vegas — they’re presenting together Sunday at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
