What's Hot Now
Mark your calendars, royal-watchers: This may be the first time a royals-adjacent person has been spotted in jean shorts. (In public, anyway — we don’t know what Prince Charles wears in his free time.) And they’ve been seen on the most famous butt of the past five years, owned by Pippa Middleton, sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, making this a very high-profile (and very delightful) denim debut.
While the world is still talking about Pippa Middleton’s famous backside, we’re busy studying her hair. Duchess Catherine‘s baby sister seems to be visiting the salon quite frequently for regular trims. Below, the photographic evidence for you to examine.

It might not feel like spring in NYC, but editors are pretty close to boycotting their boots and tights for the rest of the season. We’ve been bookmarking pieces for our warm-weather wardrobes for a while now (in hopes of willing the nice weather to happen), but one thing has just been added to the top of our must-haves list: a mint-colored piece of clothing.

From right, Diane Kruger teamed a mint Rebecca Minkoff dress from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection (which featured voluminous sleeves) with floral printed Peter Pilotto for Target slip-ons (still available and on sale if you want to nab a pair) while running errands in L.A. Next up, Rihanna selected a coordinating crop top (naturally) and mini skirt in the perfect pastel shade for an outing in New York earlier this week.
Across the pond, Pippa Middleton chose a satin coat dress for a friend’s wedding, sticking with the allover green theme by adding olive accessories. And lastly Rita Ora (pictured in NYC) went for the most unique ensemble in tweed cropped trousers and a wrap sweater (both Acne Studios) featuring a mint-green swirl print.
What do you think of the pastel trend? Will you be adding some mint pieces to your wardrobe? Share your thoughts below.

A lot has happened since the Royal Wedding in 2011. Queen Elizabeth celebrated her Diamond Jubilee. Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Prince George (and Kate slipped right back into her skinnies). Prince Harry grew a scruffy beard and started dating Cressida Bonas. But — or should we say butt — there is still one moment from Will and Kate’s fête that has not lost it’s buzz: Pippa Middleton‘s derrière in her Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress. Proof: Kate’s baby sis is still talking about it!
Middleton made a speech Monday at a London event, and she couldn’t help but quip about the royal moment that put her on the global map. “As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and — you may say — its backside,” she said, via the U.K. paper The Mirror, adding that she was “glad it fitted” at the time, but “in retrospect, it fitted a little too well.”
Since the wedding, Middleton has been very busy pursuing her own career, even penned a book about party planning. Plus, she might be taking a trip down the aisle soon, reportedly getting serious with boyfriend Nico Jackson. But we’re pretty sure we won’t be seeing a reprise of that major bum moment on her big day. What do you think of Middleton’s butt buzz? Are you surprised she’s still talking about it?
Last time we saw Duchess Catherine in all-white Alexander McQueen was at her royal nuptials to Prince William. This time, it’s for another royal occasion — the christening of her 3-month-old son Prince George.
While George was dressed in an elaborate replica of the royal christening robe, Middleton took a slightly more modern approach, wearing a custom ivory Alexander McQueen coat dress featuring ruffles down the front. Simple drop earrings and coordinating L.K. Bennett cream pumps completed the look.
And of course, she topped her famously gorgeous hair with a coordinating bespoke Jane Taylor “sinamay beret” featuring netting and a flower appliqué. (See a similar style by the milliner — for more than $1,200! — here.)
Fall is here, which means we’re going to see a lull in fringe and florals, and the return of (faux) fur and … feathers?! Believe it or not, the somewhat hippie-chic embellishment is taking the red carpet by storm in surprisingly sophisticated ways.
And just in the past week alone, three big stars braved the bold trend.
Cate Blanchett commanded our attention in this Prabal Gurung design featuring a full skirt of red and white feathers, worn to the Beauty in Wonderland Exhibition in Milan.
