Though she remained mum on the topic — avoiding any talk of hair color on Twitter — it’s not the first time the starlet has tried going brunette. She’s sported dark wigs multiple times in the past several years, often posting photos online for fans to see.

However, just days before her Beverly Hills blackout, Hilton was spotted in Aspen looking blonde as usual. Perhaps the heiress is going dark for a day in homage to her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aunt, Kyle Richards? Tell us: What do you think of Hilton’s dark hair?

When designer Charlotte Ronson created her latest I Heart Ronson for JCPenney collection, she wanted it to reflect warm-weather fun. “The inspiration for this line is summer picnic,” she told PEOPLE at a Svedka-sponsored bash celebrating the latest attire. “Summer florals, ginghams and maxi dresses, those kind of free-flowing styles you can wear from day to night. That is my philosophy for everything I design.” The line’s versatility was a big hit with stars like Nicole Richie, Ashlee Simpson and Jordana Brewster, who all came out to The Roosevelt Hotel’s Spare Room in support of Ronson. “You can pair [the dresses] with some flip flops and wear them during the day or dress them up at night with a pair of wedges and a fancy bag,” said Brewster. “They are seamless.” Being that it was June 21, the first day of summer, talk turned to this season’s fashion favorites. Talk about a bad hair day. Paris Hilton was hit with a $35 million lawsuit on Wednesday by a hair-extensions company that claims she breached her contract with them by wearing a competitor’s fake locks. The company, Hairtech International Inc., which manufactured the Dreamcatchers hair extension line that Paris fronted beginning in 2007, is seeking damages of 10 times what Hilton was reportedly paid under the contract. In addition to sporting a rival product in 2008, Hairtech claims Hilton missed a launch party for a new product in 2007 because she was in jail.  Hilton, 29, so far hasn’t commented on the suit, but attorneys provided the following statement:”There is no merit whatsoever to any of these claims. We will pursue all of our defenses vigorously and any potential counter claims.”–Tim Nudd

Prolific perfumer Paris Hilton is releasing her 10th scent, and the hotel heiress—who has posed as a mermaid and channeled Tinkerbell for her past fragrance campaigns—goes Old Hollywood siren for her latest, Tease by Paris Hilton. “I got to dress up like my idol Marilyn Monroe, and we ended up with some great photos,” Paris told PEOPLE of the shoot, which featured the 29-year-old in a sexily disheveled platinum mop-top à la Monroe. “She’s always been such an inspiration to me,” she said. The scent, a fruity-floral blend of Fuji apple, white peach nectar and bergamot, is balanced with white flowers and has base notes of amber, blonde woods and warm sand—designed to capture the come-hither spirit of the 1940s actress. “Tease is a really sweet and flirty scent, so the name is very fitting,” says Hilton. “It’s playful and sexy–perfect for grabbing attention.” Tease by Paris Hilton will arrive in stores this summer, with a 3.4 oz eau de parfum spray for $55. Supermodel Bar Refaeli (and Leonardo DiCaprio’s on-again main squeeze) is starring in another sizzling campaign for clothing company Rampage, marking her second season as the face of the brand. The celebrities have partnered with the retailer to create a line of charity T-shirts and tank tops to benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation, an organization that helps educate, entertain and inspire seriously ill children. Starlight spokesperson Corbin Bleu says, “I am excited to be designing a T-shirt on behalf of Starlight and Forever 21. As a Starlight ambassador I have been inspired by the children and families I have had the privilege of meeting along the way, and by the strength they’ve shown in the hardest of times. A little rain didn’t stop the fashionistas from celebrating the unveiling of the D&G flagship store on Robertson Boulevard, benefiting Art of Elysium. Lauren Conrad planned ahead for the chilly night. “I wanted to wear tights, so I asked for a mini.” she tells PEOPLE of her black chiffon cocktail dress, which she paired with a Top Shop hair bow. Conrad says she has yet to decrease her shopping budget. “For me I’m cutting back everywhere except for shopping. I think being a designer I want to continue to support them right now. I think it’s a really scary time but if people stop spending it’s only going to get worse.” Jennifer Morrison, in a black velvet mini cocktail frock, had her own strategy to keep from shopping. “I’m trying not to look. I’ve already spent way more money in D&G stores than I ever should!” she says. But the 6,136-square-foot store contained plenty of temptation for the House actress. “In here they have space to really show the whole collection, which is so nice,” Morrison says. And Ginnifer Goodwin, also in all black, pointed out the “convenient” location. “Robertson definitely has its own following as a street. It’s a younger, hipper Rodeo,” says the actress, who chatted with host Rachel Bilson inside. Sister act Paris and Nicky Hilton chatted and happily posed for photos on the red carpet.
