Pamela Anderson seems to be going through a rebirth of sorts. First, she chopped her hair. Then, she ran a marathon. And now, she’s gone to the dark side, showing off a brand-new brunette hair color at an Art Basel event in Miami wearing an all-black outfit and dark, smoky eye — a far cry from her blonde bombshell days as a Baywatch lifeguard.

Are you sitting down? Good. Because Pamela Anderson is a brunette.
First the notorious blonde bombshell chopped off her signature long hair into a Twiggy-inspired pixie, which took us all by surprise. And she just shocked us again stepping out with a rich brown hue at LAX airport on Sunday. But Anderson clearly isn’t ready to reveal her true color yet, choosing to cover up her mane with a wide-brim hat.
Judging by the strands peeking out, it looks like the star’s new color may also have some auburn undertones. Is it for a role? For real? We’ll just have to wait and see. What we do know: 2013 has been a big hair year for the Baywatch alum.
“I just thought my hair had had a ‘life,’” Anderson told Ellen DeGeneres last month of her decision to get a pixie. “And I wanted to put that behind me and start fresh, and I thought it would be good for the marathon. And it was!”

Two weeks ago, when Pamela Anderson last visited Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, Anderson was still sporting the long, platinum strands she was so known for. And during the course of their conversation, DeGeneres predicted that Anderson wouldn’t finish the N.Y.C. marathon.

Dancing with the Stars style fans, rejoice! If you’ve been eyeing that rhinestone bracelet or sparkly gown from last season’s cha-cha number, it could soon be yours. Randall Christensen, the costume designer behind the show’s glamorous bejeweled outfits, will soon come out with his own line of inspired women’s apparel, jewelry, accessories and more. “The right costume, for an individual’s body, can be transformational,” said Christensen, who’s dressed Pamela Anderson and Kate Gosselin. “I have seen women grow a couple of inches taller right before my eyes, with the right clothes and accessories, that strap, minimize, lift, shape, and accentuate. Every woman deserves that kind of confidence." And it's the every woman that the brand will target, providing accessible designs at affordable price points without compromising Christensen's dramatic flair. There's no launch date set yet, but we can't wait to see Randall’s creations. Tell us: Are you looking forward to Christensen's own line of clothing? –Hana Choi
