See the Latest Looks from Angelina Jolie’s Jewelry Line

Her engagement ring caused quite a stir, but Angelina Jolie is hoping the latest gems from her jewelry line, Style of Jolie, attract even more attention.

“It’s a labor of love,” Jolie’s co-designer, Robert Procop, tells PEOPLE. That’s in part because 100 percent of profits benefit the actress’s charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. In fact, she’s planning to break ground on a school for girls in Qala Gadu, Afghanistan, using funds from jewelry sales.

“Our commitment is always supporting the children’s charity, which remains the overall intention and purpose of the collection,” Procop adds.

Jennifer Connelly ‘Had a Lot of Fun Being Blonde’ for Her Latest Film

In her latest film, Virginia, Jennifer Connelly learned that blondes do have more fun … even if the subject mater of the movie — a woman’s battle with schizophrenia — was anything but.

“I actually had a lot of fun being blonde,” she tells FashionETC. “But not as much fun getting to blonde. It was very time-consuming, but the upkeep wasn’t bad because it didn’t have to be perfect.”

Writer-director Dustin Lance Black says the choice to change the character’s hair color was a calculated one. “One of the few things that a schizophrenic of her type can control is color,” he explains. “We discussed it and we thought one of the things she has probably tried to control all the time is … the color of everything, including her hair.”

Did Miley Cyrus Show Too Much Skin at the Billboard Music Awards?

We know her style’s been getting sexier lately — short-shorts and tube tops, two-piece dresses, super-high slits — but was Miley Cyrus‘s latest fashion moment too racy?

The starlet showed up to the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night wearing a plunging white Jean Paul Gaultier blazer … and not much else. She paired the jacket with simple jewelry, black-and-white peep-toe shoes and makeup by Tarte.

“I love white on white,” she told PEOPLE while walking the red carpet. “I love a good white party.”

The outfit, though giving the appearance of airiness, was still quite warm, however. “There are nooks and crannies that get sweaty, I swear,” Cyrus added.

To be fair, the show did take place in Las Vegas, so most stars’ styles definitely had an extra dose of sexiness, but is showing this much skin inappropriate for a 19-year-old? Let us know what you think in the poll below!

All the Details on Mark Zuckerberg’s New Wife’s Wedding Dress

We “like” this! While Mark Zuckerberg was taking his company public on Friday, his then-bride-to-be, Priscilla Chan, was quietly putting the final touches on her wedding gown.

For her surprise Saturday nuptials, Chan wore designer Claire Pettibone’s “Sky Between the Branches” gown, an ivory laser-cut floral dress adorned with matte sequins lined in silk. The gown featured subtle cutouts in the overlay, plus an illusion jewel neckline, sheer back and chapel-length train. The dress retails for $4,700 and is available on Pettibone’s website.

“She wore it with such grace,” Pettibone tells PEOPLE of Chan. “Her gown seems to perfectly capture her personality — understated and elegant with a touch of sparkle. It’s a perfect blend of femininity and fashion.”

Pettibone, a Los Angeles-based designer, has also created wedding gowns for stars like Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss and American Idol‘s Tamyra Gray, and even designed a bridesmaid dress worn by Cameron Diaz.

What Inspired Adam Lambert’s Latest Hairstyle?

Along with releasing his sophomore album this week, Adam Lambert also debuted a new silver-streaked hairdo.

“I wanted it to look like sunrise,” Lambert told PEOPLE Thursday night at the American Idol results show. “My hairdresser and I have a lot of fun. Both of us get bored very easily — so it’s like, ‘What are we going to do now?’”

The American Idol alum, who stopped by his old stomping ground to perform his single “Never Close Your Eyes,” was also in better shape than ever before.

Lambert said he lost weight the old-fashioned way — by watching what he eats. “Oh, you know, just being a little bit smarter with the junk food,” the singer revealed to reporters. “Skipping the ice cream that I love so much!”

Ice cream isn’t the singer’s only vice — he has a weakness for other dairy products, too. “I miss cheese,” he joked. “I really like cheese, but I haven’t been eating so much of it.”
