Leopard is one of fall’s hottest trends, but less-fearless fashionistas have been sneaking it in with bags and belts. Not so these stars, who have committed full-out to the trend, sporting it in style with Current/Elliott’s red-hot “Leopard Stiletto” jeans.

The skinny style, which retails for $198, comes in two washes, a camel and a faded gray, which render the bold-print neutral enough to pair with a variety of looks. From left, Sarah Jessica Parker wore hers with a satin trench to take in a performance; Isla Fisher added a pop of color with bright flats; Mandy Moore topped hers with a loose-fitting tank; and Katie Holmes hit a concert in hers wearing a Nantucket red boyfriend sweater.

It comes as no surprise that style guru Nicky Hilton has a love for all things fashionable. But despite the designer shoes and vintage dresses lining her closet, the heiress says it’s jewelry she simply can’t resist. “I’ve been a jewelry collector forever,” she tells PEOPLE. “I love buying it, collecting it, I’m an accessories addict.”

She’s channeling that obsession into something tangible with the launch of her second jewelry collection, NICHOLAI, debuting this week at celeb-loved online fashion boutique Big Drop NYC.

The collection, a line of vintage art deco gems and edgier and more modern statement pieces, includes everything from chic bold cuffs and vibrant cocktail rings to pave and black rhodium rings, and pave noir fan necklaces and rings, many of which were inspired by memories of trying on her mother’s estate pieces when she was younger. “My mom has an amazing collection,” says Hilton, who was also inspired by Elizabeth Taylor and “that whole era” when creating her pieces.

Her sister Paris may be the most talked about Hilton, but Nicky is certainly making her own headlines in the fashion world. At just 17 she designed handbags for Japanese brand Samantha Thavasa before creating a clothing line called Chick by Nicky Hilton in 2004. Now, the 26 year-old heiress is adding to her design resumé with a costume jewelry collection set to launch for fall. “I’m a crazy jewelry collector,” Hilton tells WWD. “I’ve always known since I was a teenager that I wanted to do a line. Whenever I bought something, whether at a flea market in Paris or a bazaar in India, I’ve been collecting pieces.” Partnering with Titan Brands, Hilton is creating a collection that promises to be “high quality without the high price tags,” according to WWD. Her new line will include three collections: Art Deco, inspired by her mother and grandmother’s David Webb pieces, as well as Spikes and Snakes, which will span everything from classic Deco to contemporary edgy styles. Wholesale prices for the line will range from $35-$480. Hilton’s new costume jewelry collection will be sold exclusively at Endless.com through this year. While her sister Paris’s love life is always busy, Nicky Hilton, who is happily dating David Katzenberg, is spending her summer preparing for her next fashion show, at September’s semiannual Tokyo Girls Collection in Japan. Hilton, who is well known there as a clothing designer, says the island country gives her lots of new ideas. “I think I got inspired in Japan a lot,” Hilton, 25, tells PEOPLE at the 2009 NBA Championship Victory Celebration hosted by the Los Angeles Lakers. “I am launching at Tokyo Girls Collection, which is in an arena with 24,000 people. I have been trying to wrap it up and get the samples set out.” Hilton has had several clothing lines (Chick, Nicholai), designed handbags (Samantha Thavasa), both catering to women in their 20s and early 30s. Part of Hilton’s excitement for the Japan may lie in the show’s unique aesthetics, she says. “The girls, actually, as the models come down the runway, are shopping, buying clothes,” she says of September’s show. “It’s cool.” –Nicholas White

Paris, Nicky, Nicole, Lauren, Rachel and More Celebrate with D&G

A little rain didn’t stop the fashionistas from celebrating the unveiling of the D&G flagship store on Robertson Boulevard, benefiting Art of Elysium. Lauren Conrad planned ahead for the chilly night. “I wanted to wear tights, so I asked for a mini.” she tells PEOPLE of her black chiffon cocktail dress, which she paired with a Top Shop hair bow. Conrad says she has yet to decrease her shopping budget. “For me I’m cutting back everywhere except for shopping. I think being a designer I want to continue to support them right now. I think it’s a really scary time but if people stop spending it’s only going to get worse.” Jennifer Morrison, in a black velvet mini cocktail frock, had her own strategy to keep from shopping. “I’m trying not to look. I’ve already spent way more money in D&G stores than I ever should!” she says. But the 6,136-square-foot store contained plenty of temptation for the House actress. “In here they have space to really show the whole collection, which is so nice,” Morrison says. And Ginnifer Goodwin, also in all black, pointed out the “convenient” location. “Robertson definitely has its own following as a street. It’s a younger, hipper Rodeo,” says the actress, who chatted with host Rachel Bilson inside. Sister act Paris and Nicky Hilton chatted and happily posed for photos on the red carpet. D&G devotees also included some men, like Danny Masterson, who spun tunes under his moniker DJ Momjeans; Corbin Bleu, who chatted with Rumer Willis; Joel Madden, who hung tight with girlfriend Nicole Richie; and Golden Globe nominee Kevin Connolly who wants the fashion house to dress him for the big day. “It’s already a done deal. They’re always the nicest.” – Jenny Sundel
