New week, new haircuts! Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus both changed up their hairstyles (again) last week, sharing photos of their new looks on Twitter.

Lovato — a natural brunette who was most recently a redhead — went blonde Saturday. “Thank you SO much Nine Zero One salon for my new locks,” she wrote, asking fans for feedback. They must’ve liked the look: later that day, she Tweeted, “Haha Demi Blondevato is a trending topic?!! Y’all are funny!”

Cyrus’s change was a bit more subtle: the singer, who took five inches off of her hair last month, went a bit shorter and added some face-framing layers. Her Tweet of “You likey?” was met with compliments like “fab” and “beautiful” from adoring followers.

First a new puppy, and now, a new look. Miley Cyrus debuted a fresh new haircut Friday after lunching at Wokcano Restaurant in West Hollywood.

“Just got a hurrrr cut,” the singer Tweeted that day, later adding, “I didn’t do anything to crazy. But I did take 5 inches off!”

Though Cyrus hasn’t changed her hair’s long length in quite some time — her last major cut was in June of 2010 — she has played color chameleon over the years, going super dark (and then light again) in 2008. (She cut bangs that year, too.)

Her new do is definitely lower maintenance, and probably a nice change for the young star, but we want to know what you think. Tell us: Do you like Cyrus’s new haircut?

Someone’s a good little sister! Miley Cyrus recently gave big bro Trace a hand, helping him create a T-shirt for his two-year-old Southern Made Hollywood Paid clothing line.

“We decided to create a shirt that represented my line, with some of Miley’s style added to it,” Trace said in a release. “The two of us had been talking about doing this for a while — it was just about getting the right design.”

Trace came up with the idea for the artwork, basing it on his sis. “I wanted to think of something that really reminded me of [her],” he said. So he chose to feature a dream catcher, reminiscent of Miley’s biggest tattoo, and an image he has tattooed on his body, as well. “It was something we were always around since childhood, because of the influence from our dad,” he shared.

The addition of a peace sign and Miley’s autograph complete the shirt. “It just felt appropriate to somehow incorporate,” Trace said of his sister’s signature.

The shirts ($28 each) are available now on the Southern Made Hollywood Paid website, and proceeds from all sales benefit Miley’s Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation, which helps needy children with health care, medical treatment, education and more.

Someone had a busy weekend: Miley Cyrus made the rounds in Los Angeles on Friday and Sunday, stopping at two different events wearing three very different dresses.

On Friday, Cyrus appeared at the American Giving Awards wearing a glimmering nude creation (left) by Kate Middleton favorite Jenny Packham. The young star paired the look with a slicked-back ponytail, chandelier earrings and pink eyes, lips and cheeks.

Sunday, she joined beau Liam Hemsworth for CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute at the Shrine Auditorium. Working a semi-messy sidebraid and smoky eyes, Cyrus showed some cleavage in a floor-length Roberto Cavalli gown with an embellished empire waist (center). She later changed into a dreamy blue asymmetrical Juan Carlos Obando dress (right) to perform her hit single, “The Climb.” We think Cyrus flattered her figure in all three gowns, but what do you think?

Looks like Miley finally got the memo! While not always synonymous with career-defining style, Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad credits the star with catapulting him to the big leagues. “We got many calls, many e-mails, some of them just for congratulations and some of them for orders,” he tells nymag.com of the elaborate gown Cyrus wore to the 2009 Academy Awards. “It’s a very special art,” he says of his handmade creations, designed for “women who love fashion” and buy pieces “to be special, to be different.” And though A-listers flock to his capricious designs, including Jennifer Lopez, who wore his sequin-dusted gown to last year’s Met Gala (“People were crying,” he insists), Murad is forever grateful to his first high-profile fan. “Many, many, many celebrities at the same time start wearing my clothes,” he explains. “But the biggest occasion, the first one, was Miley Cyrus at the Oscars.” –Justine Harman

When Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora showcased the new collection for his fashion line White Trash Beautiful on Sunday, he had a fresh face on the runway: 13-year-old daughter Ava. ”My daughter’s beautiful, she’s gregarious, she’s funny, she’s smart. I’m beyond proud,” raved Sambora to PEOPLE before the show. Ava, who made her modeling debut for her father’s clothing line at L.A. Miley Cyrus debuted her sexier side last month in the steamy music video for “Can’t Be Tamed” and now, with the release of her album Monday, she is officially making the move from teen queen to rock star. So what’s the inspiration for the new look? “Miley’s style is a natural progression of her growing up and being influenced by the music that inspires her,” the singer’s stylist, Simone Harouche, tells PEOPLE, citing rock legends Joan Jett and Blondie. “The album cover was basically a strong statement saying in the most simple way, that she can’t be tamed–literally and metaphorically,” explains Harouche. To achieve Miley’s rebellious new look, Harouche turned to designer denim brand, Robins Jeans. “[Miley] is really into leather,” says Harouche. “Robins Jeans leather jacket is such a cool staple piece: It’s embellished without being overly done and the fit is amazing. It looks like Miley Cyrus is shedding more than just her wholesome Hannah Montana image — now the starlet is shedding her long hair as well. After spending a marathon nine hours at Gemini 14 salon in Manhattan last week, the 17-year-old star was snapped Sunday at the 21st annual MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto with a whole new look. Gone were her youthful waist-length extensions, replaced by a mature to-the-collarbone length, as well as fresh highlights and lowlights. “She was going for a more mature look,” revealed Gemini 14 colorist Vickie Vidov, who has worked with Miley for the last year. “Her hair is shorter and the color was amped up—she has new brown and blonde shades mixed in,” she told PEOPLE. Gemini 14 hair extensions expert Kristina Barricelli, who spoke to PEOPLE at The Salon’s benefit Thursday for Reach Out and Read – a charity that supplies books to kids in need, added: “Miley is really maturing. She’s becoming more of a woman. She wants people to respect the artistry. She doesn’t want to hear negative talk. Miley Cyrus is literally shedding her good girl image in the steamy new video for her single “Can’t Be Tamed.” Donning a sexy set of wings and a $25,000 metal corset custom-made by The Blonds, a caged Miley readily takes on the role of a rare bird. Celebrity makeup artist Denika Bedrossian, who created the starlet’s wild look, tells PEOPLE exclusively, “Our inspiration for the video was exotic endangered birds breaking out of their cages; lots of sexy, dark, exotic feathers.” To achieve Miley’s untamed look, Bedrossian focused on the eyes, applying rich jewel-toned shadows. “I used a lot of emerald green, turquoise and black to create a deep peacock eye,” says Bedrossian, who used vivid eye color from MAC and The Balm to stand out against Miley’s fair skin. And to add extra dimension to Miley’s eyes, Bedrossian applied lashes with real feather tips for an authentic bird-like feel. Though Miley’s new look is more grown-up than we are used to, Bedrossian tells us that the songstress helped conceptualize the dramatic change. “We all collaborated together to create a gothic, edgy, yet feminine bird. The real designer behind the new Oh! La, La! collection is actually Noah’s best friend, actress Emily Grace Reaves, who had a small role in Hannah Montana: The Movie. Miley Cyrus might just be a teenager, but that doesn’t stop the Disney star from having grown-up taste when it comes to fashion. For the August issue of Elle, the Hannah Montana star goes high fashion glam and dishes on everything from her new clothing line with Max Azria to her crooked teeth. The star tells Elle of her new Walmart collection with Azria, “Literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don’t have it available.” The collaboration will hit Walmart stores in early August, but Miley is already playing favorites, citing the jeans as her “favorite part of the entire line.” Although, when it comes to denim shopping for herself, the young star knows no limit, “I would pay $500 for the jeans that we make for $20. I’m really into high fashion.” And with a glamorous life filled with premieres and parties, it’s almost hard not to be. “The most fun thing about prom is having that one special night when you dress up and you feel like a princess, and honestly, I get to do that one night a lot,” says Miley. But, even though she is a superstar, she still has to listen to her parents. “My dad won’t let me fix my teeth or cut my hair. He loves it.
