WATCH: Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen Visit Honduras for TOMS

The photos were already moving, but the video really says it all. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen visited children outside of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, earlier this summer, delivering TOMS walking shoes to those in need.

“We’re very aware of [TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie's] work and what he was doing and trying to accomplish, and it’s something obviously we wanted to be a part of,” Ashley shares in the clip above.

The sisters partnered with TOMS to create limited-edition shoes through their label, The Row; for every pair of TOMS + The Row shoes sold, a child in need will receive a new pair of shoes.

Splish splash, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are taking a bath … kind of. The sisters are diving into August in the latest installment of their monthly video series, “T Moment,” cooling off in a traveling baby pool.

Ever the fashionistas, the Olsens are wearing T-shirts from their new site, StyleMint.com, a members-only shopping site offering customers a personalized way to shop new, exclusive collections of eight T-shirts a month for only $29.99 each.

And just like last month, the designers want to see you in a tee, too. Through Aug. 31, upload a photo or video of yourself keeping cool in a T-shirt at StyleMint’s Facebook page. What do Kanye West, Jessica Simpson and Mary-Kate Olsen have in common? They love Céline’s chic summer blouses! The stars engaged in a bit of three-way fashion faceoff this summer, each donning a different Céline look while out and about. West wore his, a top from designer Phoebe Philo’s spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection, while performing at the Coachella Music Festival in California in April. One month later, Simpson was spotted dining in New York City in a similar blouse from the very same collection. Fast-forward to this month, when we caught Olsen outside of her Manhattan hotel in a shirt from Céline’s Classics collection. Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen Give Needy Children Some Functional New Footwear

Talk about happy feet! Children in Honduras were recently treated to one-on-one shoe fittings with designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who visited the Central American country to deliver footwear on behalf of TOMS. The actresses partnered with the charitable brand to create a limited-edition line of shoes through their label The Row; in celebration of the collaboration, they brought brand new pairs of TOMS’s everyday walking shoes to needy kids from three different communities outside the city of Tegucigalpa. The sisters were joined by a group of volunteers, and when they weren’t fitting feet, they visited classrooms and played soccer with the locals. “Having the opportunity to be a part of something so meaningful has made the collaboration with TOMS special to everyone at The Row,” Mary-Kate told WWD earlier this year. The TOMS + The Row shoes themselves, available in gray, black and plaid for $140-$150, are made of Italian wool and cashmere blends with lamb leather lining and black suede insoles. And just like TOMS’s everyday shoes, proceeds from sales of these cozy classics will benefit the greater good: for every pair of TOMS + The Row shoes sold, a child in need will receive a new pair of shoes. –Kate Hogan

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are expanding their fashion empire yet again, this time with handbags! The sisters are launching a nine-bag collection from their brand, The Row, including a day tote, backpack, doctor bag and classic shoulder bag made from luxe materials like python and alligator. (The goods will hit Barneys New York in August.) And although the actresses-turned-designers are clearly connoisseurs of the fashion world, when it comes to their own personal style philosophies, they wear what makes them happiest. “I dress for me and usually whatever suits my mood,” Mary-Kate tells sister Ashley in a chat on Barneys.com, for which the pair interviewed each other. For Ashley, wardrobe staples are all about simplicity. “A great pair of vintage jeans, a tailored suit, a crisp white button down, Parisian stripes, and a great men’s watch,” she lists to Mary-Kate. Do they covet fashions from a certain time period? Not necessarily. “There are important style contributions from almost every era,” Ashley shares. “Drawing on the right references at the right time is the key.” But don’t expect to see them following any recycled trends. “My problem is not with the trends themselves,” says Mary-Kate, “but the fact that trends are constantly repeating themselves.” –Kim Peiffer
