Look of the Week: Kristen Bell's Rosy Moment at the 'Concert for Our Oceans' Event

Oct/02/2015 at 01:40 PM ET

We’re constantly updating our Last Night’s Look gallery with all the best red-carpet moments (gorgeous dresses! dazzling accessories! sky-high heels!). Now, let’s talk beauty. Each week, we’ll be highlighting one of the most gorgeous makeup and/or hair moments, along with details on how to recreate the look — straight from the makeup artist or hairstylist — in our feature, Look of the Week.

Rosy cheeks are a huge trend for fall. And paired with a poppy pink pout, you can completely elevate the cheeky look to create a fresh-faced, monochromatic beauty moment. Which is exactly what Kristen Bell‘s makeup artist of 14 years, Simone Siegl, did for the star at the “Concert for Our Oceans” event in Beverly Hills Monday.

The Funny Reason Kristen Bell Loves Pedicures, Why She Won't Be Washing Her Face This Week and More Beauty Scoop From the Star

Apr/02/2015 at 09:00 AM ET

When she’s not filming her latest projects (like the sequel to Frozen!), Kristen Bell‘s most likely spending time with her two adorable children, helping husband Dax Shepard prep for a nude scene or working with Neutrogena as its brand ambassador. And with such a busy schedule, there’s not much time for the actress to relax and unwind — or wash her face each night. Lucky for her, she lives in a state that’s requiring residents to save water, which is great timing, as the star has partnered with Neutrogena Naturals to stop washing her face for seven days to bring attention to water conservation efforts.

Kristen Bell: I Peed in a Jar While Wearing My Oscars Dress

When Jennifer Aniston told us last year that she picked her Oscars gown because it was “easy to pee in,” we thought she was being funny. Little did we know that being trapped in your Oscars dress, unable to properly use a toilet, is a real epidemic — but Kristen Bell set us straight on that account.

While discussing her corseted, mermaid-hem Roberto Cavalli gown on Live With Kelly and Michael, co-host Michael Strahan asked if the dress was comfortable to sit in. “Nope. And I didn’t realize that until I got into it,” she told him. “There was a situation … there was a Mason jar involved.” When the audience giggled, she laughed and said, “Like you guys haven’t peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!”

And while she did have fun on the big night, she also was more excited than most to see Ellen DeGeneres bring out those pizzas after hours of being unable to eat. “This was my first time going … You have a hair and a makeup person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realize that you’ve been sitting there for like three hours,” she said. “And then there’s always traffic, so that’s almost four hours. Then you get there and that’s why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone’s hungry!” Next year, look for Bell to be bringing a Lunchables and a Mason jar in a large shoulder bag.

Can you believe Bell’s confession? Does a girl have to do what a girl has to do or is this never okay with you? Tell us in the comments!

This weekend alone, three stars opted for a coral hue, and it’s getting us in the mood to refresh our makeup case.
