In our weekly roundup of the looks that are gaining fashion ground (and the ones losing their style street cred), we saw some dizzying designs, statement outerwear and one mani trend that’s on the decline.
When Jennifer Aniston told us last year that she picked her Oscars gown because it was “easy to pee in,” we thought she was being funny. Little did we know that being trapped in your Oscars dress, unable to properly use a toilet, is a real epidemic — but Kristen Bell set us straight on that account.
While discussing her corseted, mermaid-hem Roberto Cavalli gown on Live With Kelly and Michael, co-host Michael Strahan asked if the dress was comfortable to sit in. “Nope. And I didn’t realize that until I got into it,” she told him. “There was a situation … there was a Mason jar involved.” When the audience giggled, she laughed and said, “Like you guys haven’t peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!”
And while she did have fun on the big night, she also was more excited than most to see Ellen DeGeneres bring out those pizzas after hours of being unable to eat. “This was my first time going … You have a hair and a makeup person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realize that you’ve been sitting there for like three hours,” she said. “And then there’s always traffic, so that’s almost four hours. Then you get there and that’s why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone’s hungry!” Next year, look for Bell to be bringing a Lunchables and a Mason jar in a large shoulder bag.
Can you believe Bell’s confession? Does a girl have to do what a girl has to do or is this never okay with you? Tell us in the comments!
One of the top trends we saw come down the spring/summer 2014 runways last fall was super-saturated, poppy-colored lipstick. So we knew it was only a matter of time before some of our favorite celebs busted out their brightest, boldest lip colors to celebrate spring being just around the corner. This weekend alone, three stars opted for a coral hue, and it’s getting us in the mood to refresh our makeup case.

In our weekly roundup of the looks that are gaining fashion ground (and the ones losing their style street cred), we saw plenty of patterns, a fresh twist on an old favorite and a skirt that’s taking up too much room on the red carpet.

What do these three ladies have in common — besides being beautiful, blonde and famous? They’re also wearing three of our favorite lip colors in a long time. And because we’re not content to just sit idly by and let celebrities wear beautiful lipsticks without knowing what exactly those lipsticks are, we tracked them down to share with you here.
