Kristen Bell: I Peed in a Jar While Wearing My Oscars Dress

When Jennifer Aniston told us last year that she picked her Oscars gown because it was “easy to pee in,” we thought she was being funny. Little did we know that being trapped in your Oscars dress, unable to properly use a toilet, is a real epidemic — but Kristen Bell set us straight on that account.

While discussing her corseted, mermaid-hem Roberto Cavalli gown on Live With Kelly and Michael, co-host Michael Strahan asked if the dress was comfortable to sit in. “Nope. And I didn’t realize that until I got into it,” she told him. “There was a situation … there was a Mason jar involved.” When the audience giggled, she laughed and said, “Like you guys haven’t peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!”

And while she did have fun on the big night, she also was more excited than most to see Ellen DeGeneres bring out those pizzas after hours of being unable to eat. “This was my first time going … You have a hair and a makeup person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realize that you’ve been sitting there for like three hours,” she said. “And then there’s always traffic, so that’s almost four hours. Then you get there and that’s why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone’s hungry!” Next year, look for Bell to be bringing a Lunchables and a Mason jar in a large shoulder bag.

Can you believe Bell’s confession? Does a girl have to do what a girl has to do or is this never okay with you? Tell us in the comments!

Kristen Bell's CMT Music Awards Style: Which Dress Is Your Favorite?

Only two months after welcoming baby Lincoln, House of Lies star Kristen Bell ditched the mom jeans (not that we can really picture the actress wearing those) to host the 2013 CMT Music Awards in — count ‘em — four different looks.

All of which happened to showcase her enviable post-baby bod.

For her red carpet appearance, she chose a black leather Zuhair Murad cocktail dress with a conservative neckline and an embroidered A-line skirt that showed off her legs.

From there, she took to the stage, where she went for a more country-glam vibe in a sparkly bronze Monique Lhuillier mini covered in lace and sequins.

Next, the hot mama flaunted some serious décolletage in a black Cushnie Et Ochs column gown with a sexy T-strap neckline.

And to close out the show, Bell let down her hair and slipped into another black number by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti with a gem-encrusted metallic bodice.

But the actress seemed less inclined to discuss her dresses and more into talking about her accessories. Well, two accessories in particular: her shoes and a breast pump kit.

After sharing a snap of her “treacherous” sky-high heels, explaining that co-host Jason Aldean would catch her if she fell (which luckily, didn’t happen!), she Tweeted the following:

“My new backstage beauty routine #pumpit #pumppumpitup #CMTAwards,” she Tweeted, along with a photo of her pump kit.

Tell us: Which one of Kristen Bell’s four dresses is your favorite?
