She may be in the midst of an Oscar campaign, but in Boy. by Band of Outsiders’ newest Polaroid campaign, Michelle Williams looks ready to quit her day job.

It’s her second turn modeling for the brand, and this time around, the My Week with Marilyn star plays an unruly office assistant: pulling pranks, filing reports and halfheartedly performing due diligence before taking a lunch break.

Despite the shoot’s location — a Hollywood cemetery! — Williams happily hams it up it in the brand’s floral spring/summer collection.

It seems designer Scott Sternberg has a knack for taking stars out of their natural habitat: previous campaigns depict Kirsten Dunst as a zookeeper, James Marsden as a mailman and Rupert Grint as a hard-partying gambler. Tell us: What do you think of Williams’s cool campaign photos?

In less than two weeks, five of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading ladies selected similar looks from Valentino’s spring/summer 2012 collection.

For the Jan. 9 Rome premiere of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Rooney Mara wore a scarlet, tiered gown with piqued sleeves and sheer paneling. In the days that followed, both Jessica Alba and Kristen Bell attended awards season soirees in leather-accented styles, while Kirsten Dunst and Kate Bosworth opted for slightly more black-tie versions of the same silhouette.

Valentino is “synonymous with red carpet and glamour,” Alba’s stylist Brad Goreski tells PEOPLE of the seasonal collection’s appeal. For his client, “the combination of leather and lace was absolutely perfect” for the InStyle and Forevermark Golden Globes pre-party because of its “mixture of ladylike and edgy” qualities.

The Bravo star credits the line’s “sort of whimsical quality” as an enduring red-carpet trend, but says that unexpected details manage to keep the dresses young. “That is why for stylists, it’s a sure thing,” he declares, adding, “you know if one of your girls is wearing Valentino, it’s going to be a good moment.”

ON A BUDGET? GET STAR LOOKS FOR LESS! 

Vocal about her distaste for trends, Kirsten Dunst‘s must-have items run the gamut from the traditional to the thrifty.

“I use this as my toiletry bag,” she tells WhoWhatWear.com of seafood exporter Petrossian’s trademark caviar cooler (bottom left, $10). “It looks cute in my bathroom.”

Underscoring her crafty beauty solution, the Melancholia star also confesses to indulging in luxe home accessories. “Yes, I have an adult blankie,” she says of her penchant for sinfully soft $595 Ralph Lauren cashmere throws (top right), which she complements with $45 A.P.C. candles in Jasmine Vert (top left). They are “reasonably priced in the world of high-end candles,” she says. “And they last a long time.”

Her ultimate splurge? Candy red $1,055 Sonia Rykiel heels (bottom right), which she dubs “the most perfect shoe I’ve seen in a long time.” It’s the versatility you’re paying for, she explains: “They’re mules, they’re pumps and they’re Mary Janes!”

She may be known for crater-deep dimples and alabaster skin, but Kirsten Dunst says she’s all grown up.

“I’m currently cleaning out my closet of childish dresses,” the Melancholia actress explains in the winter issue of T Magazine. “I want to start dressing like I’m 30. Some of the things I have are like, ‘I can’t wear this anymore, it’s not cute.’”

Items on the star’s shopping list include basics from A.P.C. and Balenciaga, which she stocked up on after a self-imposed shopping hiatus. “I didn’t shop for a long time,” she confesses, “People bother you.” Not on the agenda? Trendy items and New York-sourced vintage, which she dubs “too expensive.”

However, like most women, Dunst is a sucker for sartorial romance. “I like it when I do a photo shoot and it’s a fantasy of something,” she says. “You can dress me up.”

Kirsten Dunst takes a walk (or rest?) on the wild side in her new Bulgari Mon Jasmin Noir fragrance ads, striking sensual poses while dripping in the brand’s gorgeous jewels. Modeled after the brand’s fantastical “Mediterranean Eden” theme, the shoot actually took place in sunny Pasadena, Calif. — though you could never tell from the video. Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott had their staff transform the site into a fairytale world, complete with an Italian-style garden and gorgeous villa setting. But the most amazing moment comes toward the end of the clip, when a real lion (with its trainer) is released from its trailer and prepares for its big close-up. Now that’s wild! Much like Julianne Moore, who shook her tail feather with an exotic bird in last year’s Bulgari jewelry ads, Dunst’s walk on the wild side is a lavish affair: going head to head with the powerful creature, the actress beguiles in gemstone accents from Bulgari’s Mediterranean Eden collection. In the image, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott at the Boboli Gardens in Florence, she also cradles an oversize bottle of the scent she represents. Kirsten Dunst is gearing up for a very different kind of role as she parlays her glamour-girl status into a deal as the face of Bulgari’s latest perfume. Starting in April, the actress will front the campaign for Mon Jasmin Noir, according to WWD. Other than the fragrance’s namesake note of jasmine, other details are still being kept under wraps. The luxury label is, however, eager to kick off the launch with a ‘Mediterranean Eden’ themed bash on Feb. 25. during Milan Fashion Week. The beauty deal seems like a natural match for the star, who is a front-row fixture at fashion shows and shows off a vintage-inspired style all her own on the red carpet. It looks like Kirsten Dunst took the “costume” part of the Costume Institute’s Party of the Year very, very seriously last night. The Spiderman 3 star turned out in a volumous Yves Saint Laurent purple frock that looks like a cross between a 20′s flapper outfit and one of Marie Antoinette’s bedsheets. While we applaud her daring (perhaps she was feeling brave after her whirlwind premiere tour these past few weeks) we’re afraid she looks a little silly. (And we’re not even talking about the pouf on her forehead.) There’s just way too much of this dress — it looks like she’s drowning under all those folds. Perhaps the pregnant Noami Watts (who looked stunning, btw, in Zac Posen) could have been forgiven for this, but Kirsten, we know you could have done better! Do you agree? Kirsten Dunst is out and about in a big way right now, promoting her new movie Spider-man 3 from Tokyo to London. Sure, we’re excited for the next Spidey adventure, but what’s really got us on the edge of our seats is her ever-changing makeup! She started in Tokyo (top right) with purple-tinged eyes and pale gloss, amping up the color to a bright berry for the Japanese photocall (bottom left). Once in Europe, she switched to a pale mauve lipstick and a relatively bare face for a press conference in Rome (bottom right), to wind up with dramatic dark red lips and silver eyes at the London premiere. Never mind the new guy, Johnny Borrell of the British band Razorlight. What we can’t get over is what Kirsten was thinking when she put together her pub-hopping outfit on Tuesday night. Let’s start with the obvious — yellow thigh-highs with orthopedic oxfords? A dress that’s so short that it qualifies as a shirt? And the clashing bright-red Chanel purse and maroon floral scarf? Oh, Kirsten. We’re all for mix-and-matching, and London is the right place to try out eccentric fashion choices … but we can’t help but think that you’ve missed the mark on this one. Turns out that Drew Barrymore and Kirsten Dunst don’t just have the same taste in guys, they also have the same taste in sunglasses! Marie Antoinette opens in movie theaters today, and the buzz is already growing fast and furious about Milena Canonero’s exquisitely executed costumes. Director Sofia Coppola gave PEOPLE the scoop: “The costumes had to be an important element in the story because Marie Antoinette was so into fashion. Yesterday afternoon, Kirsten Dunst hit the streets of LA looking like a typically hip 24-year old in skinny jeans and a t-shirt, adding her own quirky spin with narrow suspenders.
