So your significant other invited you home for Thanksgiving to meet his parents for the first time. Your first reaction: “Oh my God THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!” Second reaction: “Dear God, what do I wear?”

We’ve got lots of wardrobe inspiration in Love Her Outfit!. But if you’re already past the clothing crisis and onto hair and makeup, we thought this look on Kirsten Dunst (worn to the Anchorman 2 premiere in Sydney) was perfect “meeting-the-future-in-laws” (too soon?) material.

RELATED: Seven more star-approved beauty looks!

First up: The face. It’s very “done,” but still fresh and pretty. The eyes are bright and glowy (someone’s been following our tips!) and the lipstick is festive but not overdone. You can get a similarly saturated shade with this Maybelline tube in Vivid Rose.

The hair has a similarly polished but low-key look in a sweet, girl-next-door way. Use the Beachwaver, dab a little argan oil on the ends to keep them shiny and in place, and pin back a section with a few bobby pins.

Now all you have to do is help with the dishes and you’re golden. Be sure to check back post-Turkey Day to let us know how dazzled his mom was!

Four Lipstick Colors We're Loving at Cannes

May/21/2013 at 09:00 AM ET

There might not be a lot of color on the clothes at Cannes, but the lipstick is a different story. Below, four colors that we think were real standouts on the red carpet at the film festival.

Zoë Saldana‘s rich, deep red was the perfect compliment to her steely topaz Valentino gown. The dewy finish kept the look youthful, which was key to making her whole look feel fresh.

Jessica Biel ordinarily loves a nude lip, but she broke out of her comfort zone to choose a deep rose that complemented the swath of pink in her Dior dress. Light eye makeup and a retro do really highlighted how much the girlie pink hue played up Biel’s famously full lips.

Kirsten Dunst also opted for a red lip for her big Cannes red carpet walk, though she opted for a much more ’50s-appropriate, Betty Draper-inspired look. Lined to perfection and elegantly matte, the bold color made her blue eyes pop.

And Marion Cotillard attended a daytime photocall with a soft, blush pink lip color that we’re dying to get our hands on. It looks fresh with her feminine bob — and an extra coat of gloss made the look nighttime-appropriate a little later.

Holy Headbands, Hollywood! Four Ways to Wear This Very Right-Now Accessory

Q: What’s super-adorable, takes almost no effort and can cost as little as zero dollars?
A: Adding a headband to your hair, as seen on these stars.

We love an elaborate braid as much as the next girl, but sometimes you want to get a “done” look in under a minute. That’s why we’re digging these four very different looks.

RELATED PHOTOS: Vote on even more awesome star hair looks here!

Prices of these headpieces range from $498 (Elle Fanning’s Jennifer Behr “Delicate Vine” circlet) to “free if you just got a present” (Kirsten Dunst‘s black satin ribbon).

And we also love how uniquely each star has styled her look, from Fanning’s tiara-like crown, to Kelly Osbourne’s studded headband to give her updo a little more edge, to Katy Perry‘s traditional placement or her floral number, to Dunst weaving hers right behind her bangs for a schoolgirl style.

But the best part of all: This look works with nearly any hair length or texture, meaning there’s no excuse for you not to give it a shot tomorrow. Tell us: Which headband are you most likely to wear?

Louis Vuitton's Checkerboard Print: Love It or Leave It?

We’re hardly shocked when we spot two celebs wearing the same thing, but rarely do we see multiple stars donning something that’s as bold as the checkerboard print from Louis Vuitton’s spring 2013 collection.

In just one week, Kerry Washington, Kirsten Dunst and Jessica Alba all plucked dresses directly from the label’s runway — and looked anything but square.

Django Unchained‘s Washington left our office divided when she wore a mid-calf champagne-and-cream dress accessorized with a bow headband and white Christian Louboutin pumps for her film’s photo call in Berlin last Tuesday.

Kristen Stewart, Amy Adams a 'Dream' to Dress in 'On the Road'

Dec/20/2012 at 09:00 AM ET

Kristen Stewart On the RoadMichele K. Short

Sure, one of the more notable scenes in the new movie On the Road actually features an actress without clothes, but costume designer Danny Glicker promises that audiences will be blown away by the film’s clothes. And with all of the work he put into these looks, they’d better be.

“It was a hugely immersive research period,” Glicker (who was nominated for an Oscar for his work on Milk) tells PEOPLE. “We obviously started with the script, but then I really had to reconstruct Jack Kerouac’s entire journey, so that we’d have a reference point for every place that the characters go.”

The film takes viewers on a trip that extends throughout the U.S. and Mexico of the 1950s, so Glicker says he “had to look with a fresh set of eyes at what the countries really did look like back then, in post-war America.”

However, a perk of the job was dressing the film’s leads: Kristen Stewart, Amy Adams and Kirsten Dunst. “It was a dream,” Glicker says. “They were amazing. I had so much fun with all of them.”

Glicker says each woman “had a very specific piece of the puzzle. Kristen and I worked super closely together — she was so committed to the role,” he shares. “And to see her intelligence and awareness of how clothing can inform every aspect of her understanding of a character … that was pure pleasure.”
