Kim Kardashian didn’t let a protest stop her Selfish book signing. The star greeted hundreds of loyal fans at a Barnes and Noble store in N.Y.C. Tuesday, but it was not without controversy.

It seems like only yesterday that Kim Kardashian was rumored to be banned from the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. Then she showed up in 2013 wearing this. Since then the high-fashion floodgates have opened — Kardashian and her husband Kanye West landed a Vogue cover, sister Kendall Jenner is a Vogue staple (and Chanel model) and this year, the final barrier dropped: mom-ager Kris Jenner received her very own invite.
As soon as we saw Kim Kardashian hit the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala our first thought was, “She’s pulling a Beyoncé.” Kim’s entire look was very reminiscent of Bey’s 2012 Met Gala moment, down to her red carpet stance on the famous Met steps.

Considering the hottest stars at the Met Gala (so, everyone) all wear custom designs by the top high-fashion houses (so, every designer), it’s almost impossible to predict their gowns before they hit the red carpet. But we have a good hunch that this black and silver animal print may be Kim Kardashian West’s look for the 2015 Met Gala!

To celebrate the release of her upcoming book, Selfish, Kim Kardashian West has shared a plethora of views into the book on Instagram. There was the Earth Day bikini shot, the quintessential throwback pics with her best friends and even the “going to bed with makeup on” photo. But those hoping for a sequel packed with Met Gala shots shouldn’t hold their breath: There’s a ban on Kardashian’s favorite form of expression, and it’s been implemented from up high.

It seems the quickest way to set off a social-media firestorm these days is to wade into the Bruce Jenner conversation without properly thinking things through. Kris Humphries found that out the hard way Sunday. Alice Eve learned her lesson Tuesday. And now designer Diane von Furstenberg has gotten a taste of the Internet’s wrath after posting a Photoshopped picture of Jenner, who is currently transitioning into a woman, wearing a DVF dress.
We all know how much the Kardashians love to share clothes. And this latest style showdown might be one of our faves. Khloé Kardashian just stepped out in a plunging, white Wes Gordon design — the same one Kim wore about a year ago.
