Love Katy Perry’s Soccer-Themed Lingerie? Buy a Set for Yourself!

Kevin Mazur/WireImage

Well, her boyfriend Russell Brand loved them. Now, lusty fans can have some too. Katy Perry’s soccer-themed lingerie, that is! Brand’s favorite soccer club, West Ham United, provided three shirts for 25-year-old Perry’s stylists to fashion into skimpy stagewear for her turn hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards earlier this month. And after the pictures raised eyebrows for her boyfriend, as well as admirers around the world, the club in East London has decided to make a limited number themselves. Initially, 50 sets priced at around $480 each will be made on a pre-order basis only. (If placed before November 20, they will be ready for Christmas and they are ordered before the end of next month, they will be perfectly timed for a Valentine’s Day surprise, the club says.) Perry’s get-up was the brainchild of freelance celebrity stylist and costume designer Siobhan Dillon. She told the West Ham United website Wednesday, “I thought it would be cool to try and make the shirt as football-oriented as possible. “So, I used the collars along the top of the brassiere and used the two badges on the front. I had a team of three girls working with me on the outfit. It was made entirely from the three shirts, but we had to take the Airtex out and replace it with some lining.” Contact West Ham United for your own set here. — Simon Perry

Rihanna, Rachel, Katy & More Shoe-Shop on Fashion’s Night Out!

Ace Pix

What would Fashion’s Night Out be without some shoe shopping? Rihanna, Rachel Bilson, Katy Perry and Michelle Trachtenberg partied up a storm while shopping for shoes at designer Giuseppe Zanotti’s Upper East Side boutique. Rihanna, clad in a clingy black hooded dress by Cover and Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain booties, pursued the shelves of shoes with girlfriends and her stylist Mariel Haenn. After settling on a pair of suede leopard-print wedges, the singer and designer himself hit the dance floor rocking out to “Last Dance” by Donna Summer. An onlooker tells PEOPLE, “I’ve never seen anyone dance and laugh so much at a fashion party before in my life!” Bilson skipped out on the dance party to try on close to twenty pairs before walking away with ankle booties and wedge sandals. And while Rachel played dress-up, Trachtenberg and Taylor Momsen made friends with Perry before picking out their own new shoes. Michelle settled on a pair of over-the-knee embossed leather boots, and Taylor stuck to her ’90s grunge style with crystal-encrusted flat biker boots. No word yet on what Katy took home, but we are sure they are just as drool-worthy as the rest. Katy Perry Dishes on her Style, Icons and Beauty Must-Haves

Tonya Wise/London Ent/Splash News

Katy Perry has not only conquered the world of music, but fashion and beauty too — her retro pin-up girl is as enviable as her hit song collection. So when British Vogue sat down with the songstress to hear about her beauty routine, we had to listen. Her top tip: “You wear the look; don’t let the look wear you. It’s all about having self-confidence, which helps you put off anything.” And that means accepting everything, Katy explains. “I think everything I have [tried], for better or worse, has been a creative expression of what I was feeling at that moment in life.” And just as she is inspiring many girls with her own style, she has a few beauty icons herself. “Clueless was a fabulous inspiration to me in the Nineties! So were Shirley Manson, a young Gwen Stefani, Madonna and Courtney Love.” So how do you look and smell like Katy? “My must-haves are Secret Camouflage by Laura Mercier as it covers any spot without looking cakey. Johnson & Johnson’s Green Tea lotion smells fresh and zen, and eye drops always help me look awake and fresh, even when I’m jetlagged and sleepy. I swear by L’Oreal Professional Power Care Color shampoo and Conditioner as I’ve had a colour every month since I was 15, and it helps my hair feel fresh and new, like it’s just been cut. I’ve religiously used Kate Somerville products on my face for the past 6 months, and [I love] Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf because it’s sweet and sexy, and not too intense.” To read the full article, check out Vogue.com.

Katy Perry Sounds Off On Why She Likes “To Have Fun With Fashion”

Katy Perry hit PEOPLE’s Music Lounge in N.Y.C. this week to celebrate her new “Waking Up in Vegas” video showing off her signature style in a flapper-meets-showgirl style dress that paid homage to Sin City. “Usually I’m trying to look like a party,” she told PEOPLE.com of her wild-child fashion credo. And to achieve the desired effect — including the aforementioned gilt frock — she turns to over-the-top label The Blonds. “They’re larger than life,” she says of Phillipe and David Blond, the design duo who was also behind her memorable Hello Kitty corset and Grammy’s fruit dress. “I love that they have no limits!” Perry is equally colorful in her new video, thanks to the expertise of costume legend Bob Mackie. “He picked out my clothes for ‘Waking Up in Vegas’ . . . I’m very happy about that!” she says. “Bob Mackie designed some of Cher’s most amazing costumes — I really want to see her show in Vegas now.” And in true diva style, Perry says she makes sure to wear a different outfit every night while on tour, giving the castoffs to her girlfriends afterward. “I’m running out of options now,” she says with a laugh. “I don’t ever want to wear just jeans and tee shirts. I like to have fun with fashion.” Tell us: What do you think of Katy’s wild style? –Rennie Dyball
