Kate Walsh Fetes her Facialist

When facialist-to-the-stars Kate Somerville wanted to celebrate her new collaboration with The Spa at the Beverly Wilshire, she called on one of her favorite clients Kate Walsh to help her. The redhead, who giggled and grinned when she talked about her fiance, Alex Young, hosted last week’s poolside event, where guests, including Molly Sims and Marla Sokoloff, sipped on mojitos and champagne, nibbled on everything from gazpacho to ceviche, and indulged in hand massages. Walsh couldn’t help but enthuse about her favorite Kate Somerville product to PEOPLE, “Kate in a Jar — that would be it. First of all, it has my name! And secondly it’s just a really great scrub. It’s the best thing. If you just want to look great immediately you put this stuff on, leave it on for a minute and take it off.” But Molly Sims revealed the real reason that she loves her Kate Somerville facials and products, telling PEOPLE “we’re now shooting on HD so the skin and makeup become a big [deal]. You see e-very-thing.”

Is Kate Walsh Practicing For Her Wedding?

We thought Kate Walsh looked great in her white Catherine Malandrino dress a few weeks ago — and we were totally behind her similar-but-slinky Jay Godfrey dress on the blue carpet at the Fantastic Four opening in London. But when we saw her in floor length David Salomon gown at last week’s Women in Film Crystal and Lucy Awards, we had to ask ourselves if the Grey’s Anatomy doc was trying out looks for her upcoming wedding! We think Kate looks stunning in white, but maybe it’s time to mix it up and add back in some color — remember how stunning the redhead looked in her yellow dress? Even Kate Walsh Looks Unsexy In a Tent Dress

I love wearing tent dresses — they’re comfortable, easy and mask a post-meal tummy. But looking at the ever-lovely Kate Walsh in her two dresses from yesterday, I am thinking of pushing mine to the back of the closet. The newly-engaged star hit the ABC Upfronts yesterday in a fitted white Catherine Malandrino halter dress that really showed off her enviable shape, only to change into a sack-like satin Colette Dinnigan dress for the Entertainment Weekly party later that night. One day, two dresses — and a world of difference! Where did her little waist go? Her fantastic cleavage? Tent dresses may be comfy, but sexy they are not. The Truth Behind Kate Walsh’s New Do

We were surprised by the blunt bangs Kate Walsh sported to last week’s GLAAD awards, but amazingly, it turns out that the Grey’s star didn’t have them permanently cut! PEOPLE caught up with her at an Escada party in Beverly Hills a few days later where she told us that the bangs are actually “a piece. I’m trying it out.  I can’t do anything because I’m still shooting the show [Grey's Anatomy].” Should the actress cut them for real?
