Who could ever follow in the footsteps of gorgeous women like Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Diane Kruger? Why, Kate Moss, of course. The British supermodel is the latest face of Spanish fashion brand Mango, taking over for the aforementioned spokesmodels in the company’s spring/summer 2012 advertisements.

The Mango customer is an “eclectic, modern woman that likes to have fun, and is quite laid-back and not too uptight,” the newlywed tells Bespoke Banter. “It’s timeless pieces, classic pieces. They have the classic blazer, and a jumper that you want, the jeans that you want in the shape that you want. It covers all bases.”

According to a release, Mango called upon Moss because she “embodies the type of urban, independent and bold woman Mango wants to dress.” The model will appear in photos for the brand — all shot by Terry Richardson — plus a commercial, called Spy Game, set to air in 40 countries (sadly not the U.S., though) worldwide.

The clothes Moss models in her campaign include ’60s-inspried dresses, lightweight, pleated and gathered fabrics, plus pieces from a casual line that “brings together artisanal elements from various ethnicities and blends them with sportswear details,” according to a release. Look for tie-dyed, abstract prints as well as patchwork, too.

She’s done it again! The Duchess of Cambridge landed atop the U.K. Harper’s Bazaar best-dressed list today, just three months after earning a spot on Vanity Fair‘s list of style stars. The latest honor was bestowed by a panel that included designers Antonio Berardi and Roksanda Ilincic (a Kate favorite), milliner Philip Treacy and Bazaar editors Kim Hersov and Lucy Yeomans.

“Catherine’s incredible style evolution has gripped us all,” Yeomans explains on harpersbazaar.com.uk. “She gave us the year’s — if not the century’s — most thrilling fashion moment at the royal wedding, and is shaping up as an amazing ambassador for British designers and the high street.”

Singer Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine landed in second place — “She’s fairytale,” writes Ilincic — followed by British stars including Kate Moss, Keira Knightley, Emma Watson, Alexa Chung and Stella McCartney. All in all, 20 women were included on the list.

Over the course of the past year, the Duchess has earned praise for the way she recycles her wardrobe, supports emerging designers and shops accessibly at stores like Topshop. She earned a spot on PEOPLE’s best-dressed list this year, as well.

TAKE A LOOK AT KATE & PIPPA’S SISTERLY STYLE

Kate Moss is a pro at making an entrance, but her arrival at Rimmel London’s 10th anniversary party Thursday night may have been her grandest yet. The supermodel — a longtime face of the brand — descended on southwest London’s Battersea Power Station by helicopter, hopping out to greet guests and dance the night away.

Though sans new husband Jamie Hince, Moss looked happy, radiant and glamorous. Dressed in a black velvet vintage strapless dress, Christian Louboutin shoes and a dash of red lipstick 001 from the new Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick collection, she quickly made her way into the venue as ecstatic fans snapped photos along the way.

Moss was joined at the bash by Solange Knowles, Rimmel’s newest face. The starlet, fresh off of New York Fashion Week, was dressed in a yellow asymmetrical Acne dress and Casadei stilettos, and spent her night entertaining guests from the deejay booth with hits by Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. “I am a bit overwhelmed,” she admitted to PEOPLE, “and spaced out at the same time!”

Brand ambassador Alejandra Ramos (above) also came out to celebrate, as did Harry Potter‘s Bonnie Wright (there with fiancé Jamie Campbell Bower), dressed in an airy, sleeveless gown by Roksanda Ilincic. “I love makeup but I prefer the natural kind of makeup,” she told PEOPLE. “Unless I am going out, I don’t wear that much, but I always like my lipstick.”

Speaking of, Rimmel unveiled the 15-shade Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick Collection on Thursday during a pre-party press conference with the supermodel. “She’s areal London girl, and we made her kind of a creative contributor to the brand,” Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty, told WWD. “She’s incredibly involved in the creativity in Rimmel, working with the photographers Craig McDean and David Sims, helping them with makeup looks.”

The collection launched last week at Boots in the U.K., and will hit additional stores throughout the country on Sept. 29. In January, the line will debut in the U.S.; lipsticks will sell for $5.17 a piece. Mormoris said the company is considering adding lip glosses and nail polishes to the collection.

For Kate Moss, planning her July 1 nuptials to rocker Jamie Hince was a little more complicated than saying “I do.”

“I’ve thrown parties for other people, but this is a completely different thing,” the cover girl reveals of her pre-wedding jitters in Vogue‘s September issue. “I’ve gone mental. Jamie thinks I’m mad, asking, ‘Are you gonna be all right? After the wedding, I’m hoping you’ll get back to normal!’”

With 16 bridesmaids and flower girls, including daughter Lila Grace, 8 (pictured below), and a vision in mind — “I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus,” she says — Moss dubbed the theme: “Rock-’n’-roll Great Gatsby!”

When you’re Kate Moss, your wedding isn’t just an occasion to celebrate your love — it’s an excuse to look fabulous, too! The supermodel tied the knot with rocker Jamie Hince in England on Friday, wearing Manolo Blahnik shoes and a custom-designed gown by John Galliano. “He did Kate’s 21st birthday dress, her 30th birthday dress, and Galliano’s show was the first she ever walked for,” a source told WWD. “So this wedding day ties up a lot of things beautifully.” Moss’s husband wore a blue suit by Yves Saint Laurent, and the “best woman,” his The Kills bandmate Alison Mosshart, was in YSL, as well. Most of Moss’s 12 young bridesmaids were outfitted in ivory chiffon dresses created by Bonpoint, though three wore Stella McCartney, WWD reported. But the fashion extended well beyond the wedding party: according to Vogue U.K., guests included Anna Wintour, Daphne Guinness, Marc Jacobs and Kelly Osbourne, who Tweeted, “This is the most beautiful, loving, amazing wedding I have ever been to. It’s magical when you see people really in love!” When it came time for the newlyweds’ first dance, Moss slipped into an oyster silk chiffon Stella McCartney dress with chain-embroidered bodice and cut-out back. Later, she donned a McCartney mini with micro bugle beads and plunging back, dancing along as artists like Shirley Bassey, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Pop, Bryan Ferry and Beth Ditto took the stage. The (fashion) show really does go on! Monday, Dior premiered a sultry commercial featuring Kate Moss at the brand’s spring 2011 ready-to-wear runway show in Paris. The fast-paced short, created by Jonas Åkerlund, oscillates from an intimate one-on-one with the model in her lavish hotel room to a voyeuristic view into her glamorous fishbowl. Seemingly the only respite from the fashion frenzy is her Dior Addict lipstick in Diorkiss #578, which she applies no fewer than three times. Before extending a gorgeous long leg from her chauffeured ride, Moss admits, “A girl can’t make an entrance without her lipstick.” So that’s where she gets her confidence! –Justine Harman

London Fashion Week came to a solemn standstill on Monday morning as more than 1000 friends, family and colleagues paid tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen during a memorial service at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral. Dressed in black, with hats and skyscraper heels as the dress code of choice, pals such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Stella McCartney gathered for the emotional hour-long service to remember the iconic British designer who tragically committed suicide seven months ago. Remembering his fashion legacy, the Reverend Canon Giles Fraser told the congregation: “We give thanks for his creative mind, his showmanship, and for his capacity to shock,” while also acknowledging his troubled past and reclusive nature, he said: “It was a life lived in the public gaze, but it was as vulnerable and retiring as it was glamorous.” The eulogies were led by Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, one of McQueen’s first employers. “She told a story about how he couldn’t do the job as it would mean he wouldn’t be able to get his dole [unemployment benefit] money,” one guest told PEOPLE, adding: “but she was quick to say how they always forgave him and how extraordinarily gifted he was.”

Other eulogies were recited from Suzy Menkes and his muse, Annabelle Neilsen, while his nephew Mark McQueen did a bible reading. Music was provided by Icelandic singer and actress Björk who sang “Gloomy Sunday,” a dark song dealing with death, originally sung by Billie Holiday. “Björk looked like an angel, she suddenly appeared from nowhere, it was very emotional and a few people were crying by that point,” said the guest. Exiting the church to the sound of bagpipes courtesy of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland (playing the theme tune to Braveheart), Parker, dressed in head-to-toe McQueen with a single white flower in her hair, wiped her eyes and got into her car, telling reporters: ”It was beautiful and so memorable. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world,” while Campbell, in a feathered creation from the designer, simply added “Lee would have loved that.”

When Kate Moss needed inspiration for her second collection of handbags for Longchamp, she looked no further than her own closet. “I had a couple of vintage bags from the ’70s that I picked up in second-hand shops in Florence and Marrakech,” the supermodel-turned-designer says in a release. “One of them had a patchwork design. I showed it to Sophie [Delafontaine, Longchamp's artistic director], and found out that at exactly the same time, Longchamp had been working with patchwork and lambskin.” Now, Moss is bringing back her unique vintage find in her much-anticipated fall collection for the French brand. And while the new deep hues are a departure from the soft neutrals of her first collection, we love the exotic jewel-tone patchwork and hippie-chic vibe of these new ads and bags. Not that Kate Moss needs any validation as a muse — nor as a pop culture icon — but the upcoming exhibition dedicated to the supermodel at Paris’s Musée des Arts Décoratifs in spring 2011 certainly dispels any doubts. Moss also appears on March’s cover of Harper’s Bazaar, and shares her reaction to the museum honor (“I just didn’t believe it,” she says) and on her growing reach as a fashion designer. Despite her success in the apparel business, the 36-year-old says, “I’m not really a fashion designer. I just love clothes. I’ve never been to design school. I can’t sketch. I can’t cut patterns and things. I can shorten things. I can make a dress out of a scarf.” As for designers she considers “proper,” Moss cites Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, and John Galliano. She also dishes on another of her fashion industry favorites, Peter Lindbergh, who shot her for her Bazaar’s cover, offering some insight into aging gracefully: “Peter is old-school. There aren’t many around like him anymore who really know how to take pictures. I’ve known him since I was 18 and worked with him for Bazaar. When your dearest pals are Kate Moss and Stella McCartney, who needs a stylist? Liv Tyler, who appears on the March cover of British Elle says she relies on her girlfriends when it comes to matters of the heart–and of the closet. For old-fashioned, girly gossip, she heads to McCartney’s house in the English countryside. “Once our kids are asleep it’s ‘grab the wine’, and talk turns to boys and husbands,” she says. When not dishing with Stella, the 32-year-old actress can be found in the equally glamorous company of buddy Kate Moss. “I love playing dress-up with her and her closet,” she says of her sartorially gifted friend.
