Unless you’re spending your summer vacation on a yacht cruising the Mediterranean, you’re going to get pretty jealous of Kate Hudson‘s current trip. To celebrate her official Instagram account, the actress has taken over InStyle’s feed to share a number of gorgeous personal photos from her vacation. (Prepare to be jealous.)

Hollywood is an endless source of bikini body inspiration — and we’re not talking about all the 20-something starlets showing off their Soul Cycle-ready bodies. Celebrities of all ages have been turning it out on the beach this season, and we’re celebrating the results of all their hard work.

Kate Hudson has one of the sunniest representations in Hollywood — and now she’s trying to make that positive attitude catch on around her, even in famously fickle Hollywood.
“The negativity is just so vast,” she says in the July issue of InStyle. “Will everybody stop being so damned judgmental? If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, How do they treat the person next to them? Are they a-holes or are they awesome?”
She deals with the stress of a constant swarm of photographers with a little mental exercise (“I just look at the paparazzi and mentally cut their heads off!”) but there is one area on which she’s not willing to overlook the negativity, and that’s the role of women in film. “Do women still have a more difficult time in the industry? In terms of what they get paid and getting movies made, that’s just a factual yes. Nobody can debate it.”
“My mom [Goldie Hawn] was a trailblazer,” Hudson continues. “She was one of the first women after Katharine Hepburn to produce her own films. She had this extremely fascinating public image, but behind the scenes there was a real, persevering strength — wanting to get things done, fighting for what she believed in, and being successful with it.”

Every time Kate Hudson steps out in a bikini, we all have to talk about her beach accessories (remember the body chain?) and speculate on her fitness routine. So when we spoke with the actress (and co-founder of Fabletics activewear) recently, we figured we might as well get the facts straight from the source. Is it Zumba? Marathons? Zero-gravity yoga?
Kate Hudson has been having a street style moment lately. Okay, she pretty much always steps out of the house looking amazing, but there is one trendy style move she made that we’re still talking about — the body chain. (See photo below for reference.) Hudson layered her ab jewelry under a crop top last week in N.Y.C., so when we chatted on the phone with her this week we had to ask about the secret to pulling it off (luckily, she didn’t say “7,000 crunches”).
Kate Hudson has a lot on her plate right now. She’s modeling and designing for Ann Taylor and her own athletic line, Fabletics. She just launched a collection of sunglasses with Chrome Hearts. She’s got two kids, Ryder, 10, and Bingham, 2, whom she’s raising all over the globe. If she didn’t have time to plan a wedding, well, we can’t say we’d be surprised. But Hudson reveals that her nuptials to Matthew Bellamy are imminent — and you can start getting the rice ready.
