The days of Kate Gosselin‘s spiky asymmetrical hairdo are long gone! The Kate Plus 8 star has debuted a sleek new shag, courtesy of stylist-to-the-stars Ted Gibson. Kate, who has relied on Gibson to style her strands since PEOPLE hooked them up for a cover shoot in January, popped into Gibson’s chic N.Y.C. salon this week to update her tresses, and came out sporting a long, angular cut. Says a source close to the star: “Kate adores Ted; he totally transformed her look last year. She would never go anywhere else. Even though it means coming to New York to see him, Kate thinks it is totally worth it.” And although she has recently been sporting wavy locks, expect to see a straight-and-narrow style from the star — at least for the next few months. A rep for Gibson confirms that Kate also treated herself to La Brasiliana keratin conditioning treatment, which will keep her hair stick-straight for 12 to 16 weeks. Dancing with the Stars style fans, rejoice! If you’ve been eyeing that rhinestone bracelet or sparkly gown from last season’s cha-cha number, it could soon be yours. Randall Christensen, the costume designer behind the show’s glamorous bejeweled outfits, will soon come out with his own line of inspired women’s apparel, jewelry, accessories and more. “The right costume, for an individual’s body, can be transformational,” said Christensen, who’s dressed Pamela Anderson and Kate Gosselin. “I have seen women grow a couple of inches taller right before my eyes, with the right clothes and accessories, that strap, minimize, lift, shape, and accentuate. Every woman deserves that kind of confidence." And it's the every woman that the brand will target, providing accessible designs at affordable price points without compromising Christensen's dramatic flair. There's no launch date set yet, but we can't wait to see Randall’s creations. Tell us: Are you looking forward to Christensen's own line of clothing? –Hana Choi
