Ah, finally a trend made for the weekends! Jennifer Aniston, Kate Bosworth and Ashley Olsen are just a few of the stars we’ve spotted in a classic casual combo — plaid buttondowns paired with jeans. We covet anything Kate Bosworth wears — whether it be on the red carpet or while she’s just strolling around town. Most of her designer-packed wardrobe is too pricey for us to snag, but the fashionable actress does wear her fair share of affordable pieces. Remember her $18 striped summer dress? For the past month, Kate has been getting into the fall spirit with these comfortable and light Gap sweaters. Her heather and white striped number was part of Gap’s pre-fall collection, but you can still get a similar darker striped one for just $45! Like a true fashionista, Kate got her hands on Gap’s cashmere line way before it hits stores. Her canary yellow cashmere v-neck, $98, will hit Gap stores by November 15th, but in the mean time try this similar style cotton sweater, $40. Why stop there? You can get Kate’s whole look at the gap! Tie Gap’s red ruffle scarf, $13, around your neck and get a pair of Gap’s signature dark wash skinny jeans, $60, to finish it off. Now that is celebrity style we can relate to!

It’s shaping up to be a colorful fall! We’ve already seen turquoise and purple dresses on our favorite stars, and now some of Hollywood’s hottest ladies are stepping out in hot pink! Try one out for daytime, like Jessica Simpson’s Karen Zambos Vintage Couture sheath. Who else could pack a front row with Kate Bosworth, Julianne Moore, Ashley Olsen, Rosario Dawson and more? Calvin Klein, of course! The stars turned out to see a typically minimalist collection from the house’s designer, Francisco Costa — and judging from the enthusiastic responses and clapping, they loved it. Rosario told PEOPLE that “I love the colors. I love the material of the dresses. Specifically, I really loved the architecture of the dresses. There were a lot of sort of panels on the top, things that made certain parts of the body more sheer than others, really long slits on the sides. But just like really simple, really cool things like that architecturally, I love that in clothes.” And we love seeing such a simply chic front row!

Kate Bosworth’s style tends to be impeccable — and way too expensive for us to even think about copying, like her recent Jil Sander dress. We know that hats are usually part of traditional Derby Day outfits, but we are still a little confused by Kate Bosworth’s unusual headgear that she wore to the Victoria Derby Day in Melbourne, Australia over the weekend. We can’t help thinking that it looks an awful lot like something Cher would have worn in the 80’s, and it’s a little late for a Halloween costume.
